Authorised aircraft a) Jet aeroplanes up to a size in line with code letter E as laid down in ICAO Annex 14, Volume I, Chapter 1, Table 1.1, provided they comply with the provisions laid down in ICAO Annex 16, Volume I, Part II, Chapter 3 or 4. b) Aeroplanes of types Airbus 380, Boeing and Antonov 124 (all of them of a size in line with ICAO code letter F as laid down in ICAO Annex 14, Volume 1, Part I, Chapter1, Table 1.1) if the flight uses the airport as an alternate airport for meteorological, technical or other safety reasons; additionally, aeroplanes of types Airbus 380 and Boeing in the case of training flights without passengers or cargo. c) Propeller aeroplanes d) Powered sailplanes as required by the repair hangars resident at the airport after prior permission (PPR) from BadenAirpark GmbH e) Threeaxis control ultralight aircraft as required by the repair hangars resident at the airport after prior permission (PPR) from BadenAirpark GmbH 2. Beschränkungen des Flugbetriebs 2.1 In der Zeit von 2100 (2000) bis 0500 (0400) (Nachtzeit) wird der Flugbetrieb auf dem Flughafen Karlsruhe/BadenBaden zum Schutz der Nachtruhe beschränkt. Flugbewegungen in dieser Zeit sind nur wie folgt zulässig: Flugbetrieb in der Zeit von 2100 (2000) bis 2200 (2100) ist nach vorheriger Zustimmung (PPR) der BadenAirpark GmbH zulässig: mit Luftfahrzeugen über 5,700 kg MTOM, die in der BonusListe des Bundesministeriums für Verkehr, Bau und Wohnungswesen (BMVBS) in der jeweils gültigen Fassung aufgeführt sind; mit Flugzeugen über 2,000 kg bis 5,700 kg MTOM mit Standort am Flughafen Karlsruhe/BadenBaden Flugbetrieb in der Zeit von 2200 (2100) bis 2300 (2200) ist nach vorheriger Zustimmung (PPR) der BadenAirpark GmbH zulässig für: Landungen bei Verspätungen von Flugzeugen über 5,700 kg MTOM, die in der BonusListe des Bundesministeriums für Verkehr, Bau und Stadtentwicklung (BMVBS) in der jeweils gültigen Fassung aufgeführt sind. Starts bei Verspätungen im Linien und Pauschalflugreiseverkehr von Flugzeugen über 5,700 kg MTOM, die in der BonusListe des Bundesministeriums für Verkehr, Bau und Wohnungswesen (BMVBS) in der jeweils gültigen Fassung aufgeführt sind, jedoch nicht mehr als 15 solcher Verspätungsstarts pro Monat Starts und Landungen von Luftfahrzeugen bei Benutzung des Flughafens als Not oder Ausweichflughafen aus meteorologischen, technischen oder sonstigen Sicherheitsgründen, im Einsatz für den Katastrophenschutz oder bei Flügen, die aus medizinischen Gründen notwendig sind, im Einsatz für die Landespolizei sind auch in der Nachtzeit von 2100 (2000) bis 0500 (0400) zulässig. 2.2 Beschränkungen an Sonn und bundeseinheitlichen Feiertagen An Sonn und bundeseinheitlichen Feiertagen in der Zeit von 0500 (0400) bis 0800 (0700) und in der Zeit von 1900 (1800) bis 2100 (2000) ist der Flugbetrieb für Luftfahrzeuge unter 2,000 kg MTOM bzw. für nicht ansässige Luftfahrzeuge auch über 2,000 kg bis 5,700 kg untersagt. 2.3 Beschränkungen für Motorsegler und Ultraleichtflugzeuge Motorsegler und Ultraleichtflugzeuge dürfen darüber hinaus an Samstagen, Sonn und Feiertagen ganztägig weder starten noch landen. 2.4 Ruhezeiten für Platzrundenflüge a) Montags bis freitags in der Zeit vor 0600 (0500) sowie in der Zeit zwischen 1200 (1100) und 1400 (1300); sowie samstags, sonntags und an Feiertagen in der Zeit nach 1200 (1100) dürfen Platzrundenflüge mit Propellerflugzeugen unter 2,000 kg MTOM nur mit erhöhtem Schallschutz durchgeführt werden. b) Zu Übungszwecken unmittelbar aufeinanderfolgende wiederholte An und Abflüge desselben Luftfahrzeugs mit mehr als 5,700 kg MTOM sind zu folgenden Zeiten unzulässig: montags bis freitags vor 0600 (0500) und nach 1900 (1800), Samstags vor 0600 (0500) und nach 1800 (1700), an Sonn und Feiertagen ganztägig. 2.5 Schubumkehr Bei Landungen darf Schubumkehr nur in dem aus Sicherheitsgründen unvermeidbaren Umfang angewendet werden; die Stellung "Leerlauf Schubumkehr" wird davon nicht berührt. 2.6 Probe und Standläufe Probe und Standläufe von Triebwerken sind nur mit vorheriger Zustimmung und nach näherer Weisung der Luftaufsichtsstelle zulässig. 2.7 Anlassen mit "CrossBleed" Das Anlassen der Triebwerke mit "CrossBleed" Verfahren ist nur auf den Abstellpositionen erlaubt. 2. Restrictions of flight operations 2.1 Flight operations at Karlsruhe/BadenBaden Airport are restricted between 2100 (2000) and 0500 (0400) (night time) to avoid noise disturbance at night. During this time, flight operations are only permitted as follows: Flight operations are permitted between 2100 (2000) and 2200 (2100) after prior permission (PPR) from BadenAirpark GmbH: with aircraft of more than 5700 kg MTOM included in the applicable bonus list published by the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Housing (BMVBS ); with aircraft of more than 2000 kg but less than 5700 kg MTOM based at Karlsruhe/BadenBaden Airport Flight operations are permitted between 2200 (2100) and 2300 (2200) after prior permission (PPR) from BadenAirpark GmbH for: Landings of delayed aircraft exceeding 5700 kg MTOM included in the applicable bonus list published by the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Housing (BMVBS); Takeoffs of delayed aircraft on scheduled air services and air inclusive tours of more than 5700 kg MTOM included in the applicable bonus list published by the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Housing (BMVBS); delayed takeoffs are limited to 15 per month Takeoffs and landings of aircraft using the airport as an emergency or alternate airport for meteorological, technical or other safety reasons, on disaster relief missions or when rendering medical assistance, on missions for the police of the federal State are also permitted at night between 2100 (2000) and 0500 (0400). 2.2 Restrictions on Sundays and nationwide public holidays in Germany On Sundays and nationwide public holidays between 0500 (0400) and 0800 (0700) and between 1900 (1800) and 2100 (2000), flight operations with aircraft of less than 2000 kg MTOM and with nonresident aircraft of more than 2000 kg but less than 5700 kg are prohibited. 2.3 Restrictions for powered sailplanes and ultralight aircraft In addition, powered sailplanes and ultralight aircraft are not permitted to take off or land on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays (H24). 2.4 Noise respite period for traffic circuit flights a) MonFri before 0600 (0500) and between 1200 (1100) and 1400 (1300), as well as on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays after 1200 (1100), traffic circuit flights with propeller aeroplanes of less than 2000 kg MTOM are permitted with increased sound proofing only. b) Repeated successive approaches and departures for training purposes of the same aircraft exceeding 5700 kg MTOM are prohibited at the following times: MonFri before 0600 (0500) and after 1900 (1800): Saturdays before 0600 (0500) and after 1800 (1700), Sundays and public holidays (H24) 2.5 Reverse thrust For landings, reverse thrust, other than idle thrust, may only be used to the extent necessary for safety reasons. 2.6 Engine test runs and engine runups Jet engine test runs and runups are permitted only after prior consent and on special instruction by the aviation supervision office (Luftaufsicht). 2.7 Crossbleed engine start The crossbleed engine start procedure is only permitted at aircraft stands. Starts bei geringer Sicht (LVTO) 3.1 Die RWY 21 ist für den Allwetterflugbetrieb bis zu CAT III zugelassen. 3.2 Die RWYs 03 und 21 sind für Starts bei geringer Sicht bei einer RVR von weniger als 400 m zugelassen. 3.3 Zur Durchführung des Allwetterflugbetriebs und um die Rollverkehrsführung bei ungünstigen Witterungsbedingungen und/oder nachts zu erleichtern, sind auf dem Flughafen Karlsruhe/BadenBaden Rollbahnmittellinienfeuer und Haltebalken installiert. 3.4 Bei Anwendung des Allwetterflugbetriebs nach CAT II oder III bzw. LVTO: Ist selbstständiges Rollen nach vorheriger Freigabe durch ATC nur auf den TWYs zulässig, auf denen Rollbahnmittellinienfeuer eingeschaltet sind Ist das Aufrollen zum Start auf die RWY nur nach vorheriger Freigabe durch ATC über die TWYs A und E möglich Ist Abrollen von der Landebahn über die TWYs A bis E möglich Ist jegliches Rollen auf den Vorfeldbereichen bis zu/von den Endpunkten der Rollbahnmittellinienfeuer nur mit vorausfahrendem Leitfahrzeug (Follow Me) zulässig. 3.5 Zum Schutz der RWY gegen unberechtigtes Einrollen und zur Markierung der critical/sensitive areas sind die jeweiligen CAT II/III Rollhalte mit befeuerten Haltebalken ausgerüstet. Sofern Haltebalken eingeschaltet sind, dürfen diese unter keinen Umständen überrollt werden. 4. IFR Anflüge zu Übungszwecken An und Abflüge nach Instrumentenflugregeln zu Schulungs und Übungszwecken bedürfen der vorherigen Zustimmung (PPR) durch die Flugsicherung / Anflugkontrolle. Anfragen sind zu richten an: Strasbourg APP Tel.: Platzrundenflüge mit Luftfahrzeugen > 5.7 t MTOM Platzrundenflüge VFR von Luftfahrzeugen mit mehr als 5700 kg MTOM sind in mindestens 2000 ft MSL durchzuführen. Bei der östlichen Platzrunde soll hierbei die Bundesautobahn A5 nach Osten nicht überflogen werden. 3. Guidance of aircraft in in CAT II or III allweather operations allweather operations as well as lowvisibility takeoffs (LVTO) 3.1 RWY 21 is approved for allweather operations up to CAT III. 3.2 Lowvisibility takeoffs (LVTO) are permitted on RWY 03 and RWY 21 with an RVR of less than 400 m. 3.3 For allweather operations and to facilitate ground movement control during adverse weather conditions and/or at night, taxiway centreline lights and stop bars are installed at Karlsruhe/BadenBaden Airport. 3.4 During CAT II or III allweather operations as well as LVTO: Unaided taxiing is permitted after prior clearance from ATC only on TWYs where the taxiway centreline lights have been switched on; It is possible to enter the RWY for takeoff via TWYs A and E only after prior clearance from ATC; It is possible to vacate the RWY via TWYs A to E; All taxiing on the apron areas up to/from the end of the taxiway centreline lights is only permitted under the guidance of a followme vehicle. 3.5 Lighted stop bars are installed at the CAT II/III holding positions to prevent unauthorised entry onto the RWY and to mark the critical/sensitive areas. When stop bars are switched on, they may not be crossed. 4. IFR approaches for training purposes Approaches and departures under instrument flight rules (IFR) for training purposes require prior permission (PPR) from air navigation services / approach control. Requests shall be directed to: Strasbourg APP Tel.: Traffic circuit flights with aircraft > 5.7 t MTOM VFR traffic circuit flights of aircraft exceeding 5700 kg MTOM shall be conducted at a minimum altitude of 2000 ft MSL. When flying the eastern traffic circuit, the A5 motorway should not be crossed to the east.
