1 Dichtheit & Lebenszyklus DUNGS Armaturen sind für ihre Langlebigkeit und Robustheit bekannt. Geräte mit einer Lebensdauer von über 30 Jahren sind keine Seltenheit. Armaturen unterliegen jedoch während ihres Lebenszyklus einem Verschleiß- und Alterungsprozess. Werkstoffe altern, Umgebungsbedienungen ändern sich, Schmutz wird eingetragen - alle diese Faktoren beeinflussen die innere Dichtheit der Geräte. Die Normen definieren unterschiedliche Anforderungen bezüglich der Dichtheit während der Lebensdauer. Es wird zwischen dem Auslieferungszustand des Neuproduktes und dem Betriebszustand unterschieden. Leakage rate & Cycle Life DUNGS controls are known for their quality, durability, longevity, and robustness. Valves still in service for over 30 years are not an exception. However, the actual service life in a given application depends on various factors that affect the rate of wear and tear. Materials age, ambient condition change, debris infiltrates the valve - all these factors influence the internal leakage of the controls. The standards define two different requirements regarding a valve s allowed internal leakage over its life cycle. One standard applies to a valve in production until it is installed, and another applies to a valve once installed in service. 2 1. Anforderungen an Neuprodukte bei der Produktion DUNGS fertigt und prüft die Ventile (automatischen Absperrventile/EN 161) bei der Produktion nach den Dichtheitsanforderungen der EN 13611: 1. General requirements in the field Commissioning and operation The leakage requirements according to EN 1643 (Valve proving systems) in the operational state are described in chapter (Figure 2, page 4): 50 l/h bzw. max. 0,1 % Q N 50 l/h or rather max. 0,1 % Q N Q N : Als Nennwärmeleistung wird die von einem Heizgerät abgegebene, für das Heizsystem tatsächlich nutzbare Wärmeleistung bezeichnet. DUNGS Anforderungen an Rücklieferung aus dem Feld Aufgrund jahrzehnte langer Erfahrung und den DUNGSeigenen Anforderungen an Sicherheit, Langlebigkeit und Qualität stellt DUNGS höhere Anforderungen an Feldrückläufer als die EN 1643 ( 50 l/h bzw. max. 0,1 % Q N ). Für DUNGS Ventile gelten folgende verschärften Werte: 0,5 l/h DUNGS (Bild 2, Seite 4) Bei Rücklieferungen ist dies der Wert an dem sich DUNGS messen lässt Faktor 100 besser als die Mindestanforderung der Norm EN 1643! 3. DUNGS requirements for returned controls once installed Due to decades of experience and DUNGS specifications for safety, durability, and quality, DUNGS sets a more stringent requirement than the EN 1643 standard ( 50 l/h or max. 0.1 % QN). For DUNGS valves the following stringent values applies: 0,5 l/h DUNGS (Bild 2, page 4) DUNGS will apply the above leak rate to any valve returned from the field, which is 100 times more stringent than the EN 1643 standard. 4. Austausch sicherheitsrelevanter Armaturen afecor (Europäischer Verband der Regelgerätehersteller; empfiehlt nach 10 Jahren Betriebsdauer einen Austausch bzw. Revision der eingesetzten Armaturen um die Sicherheit und Anlagenverfügbarkeit langfristig sicherzustellen. Diese Empfehlung gilt nur für Heizungsanlagen und nicht für Thermprozessanwendungen. 4. Replacement of safety-related controls according to afecor AFECOR (European Control Manufacturers Association; recommends replacement or revision of the used controls after 10 years of operation to ensure safety and availability of the systems in the long run. This recommendation applies only to heating appliances and not to industrial heating processes. 3 5
