5 Der Schlüssel zur Zukunft The Key to the Future Liebe Leserinnen und Leser, Neue Marktbedürfnisse werden ständig aufgenommen und von BACnet heute und in Zukunft genau so gut abgedeckt, wie die bereits unterstützten Anforderungen kontinuierlich weiter optimiert und erweitert werden. Nicht zuletzt ist es die sehr gute Zusammenarbeit von Endkunden, der öffentlichen Hand, Planern, Systemintegratoren und Herstellern, die den BACnet Standard ständig weiter vorwärtstreibt. Deshalb möchte ich Sie einladen, sich auf der ISH 2011 in Frankfurt persönlich ein Bild zu machen. Erfahren Sie, welche Möglichkeiten BACnet heute bietet, die aktuellen und vor allem auch zukünftigen Anforderungen an Ihr Gebäude zu bewältigen. Um nur einen Punkt hervorzuheben: BACnet ermöglicht die Energieeffizienz von Gebäuden zu verbessern und damit schädliche Umwelteinflüsse sowie den Energieverbrauch zu reduzieren. Effiziente Gebäude sind unser aller Ziel. Diesem sind wir mit BACnet als Schlüsseltechnologie für die Verarbeitung gebäudetechnischer Informationen heute schon recht nahe. Ein weiteres Kapitel schlagen wir bei der BACnet Zertifizierung auf, die nun über die BACnet Automationsstationen (B-ASC, B-AAC, B-BC) hinausgeht. In den nächsten Monaten wird die BACnet Zertifizierung auf BACnet Bediengeräte und BACnet Gebäude-Managementstationen (B-OD, B- OWS, B-AWS) ausgedehnt. Die dazu notwendigen BACnet Client Geräteprofile (Addendum l) und dazugehörigen Tests sind mittlerweile in den BACnet Standard eingeflossen. Damit ist die Grundlage für erfolgreiche Tests mit anschließender Zertifizierung geschaffen. Die Zahl der Hersteller, die das offene BACnet Protokoll in Ihren Geräten verwenden, steigt stetig, wie man an der aktuellen vergebenen Anzahl von BACnet Hersteller-IDs sieht; dies sind zur Zeit 499. Auch bei den Konformitätstests wurde durch die Akkreditierung des BTS / SoftDEL BACnet Testlabors eine weitere Harmonisierung auf diesem Gebiet erreicht. An efficient building is our prime directive, which we are close to achieving today with BACnet as the key technology for processing building technical information. We open up a new chapter for BACnet certification that extends beyond BACnet automation stations (B-ASC, B-AAC, B-BC). Over the next few months, BACnet certification will be extended to BACnet operator units and BACnet management stations (B-OD, B-OWS, B-AWS). The requisite BACnet Client device profiles (Addendum l) and associated tests have been integrated in the BACnet standard meanwhile. This provides the foundation for successful testing and follow-up certification. The number of manufacturers that use the open BACnet protocol in their devices is continuously increasing as you can see from the number of issued BACnet manufacturer IDs; currently 499. In the area of compliance testing, the accreditation of the BTS / SoftDEL BACnet test lab is yet another step toward harmonization. 6 BACnet Interest Group Europe BACnet Dynamisch in die Zukunft. The Standard that Never Sleeps Welcome to ISH Frankfurt Es ist der bisher größte BACnet Gemeinschaftsstand auf der ISH. Vom 15. bis 19. März 2011 stellt die BACnet Interest Group Europe (BIG-EU) in Frankfurt aktuelle Produkte und Services der BACnet Technologie vor von der Raumautomation bis zum Energiemanagement, vom Training bis zum Engineering. It is the largest BACnet booth to date at the ISH. The BACnet Interest Group Europe (BIG-EU) will introduce the latest products and services of BACnet technology from March 15 th to 19 th, 2011, in Frankfurt everything from room automation to energy management, and from training to engineering März 2011, Frankfurt Halle 10.2 Stand D60 March 15-19, 2011, Frankfurt Hall 10.2 Stand D60. Erstmals 2007 auf der ISH vertreten, bietet die BIG-EU auch 2011 wieder einen Zuwachs bei den BACnet Präsentationen. The standard that never sleeps steht für permanenten Fortschritt und stetige Weiterentwicklung. Das macht Investitionen in BACnet Lösungen sicher. Zahlreiche Arbeitsgruppen entwickeln neue Funktionalitäten und passen den offenen Standard an die Anforderungen der Nutzer an. Die Vorlagen der Arbeitsgruppen gehen zunächst in die öffentliche Revision. Das offene Verfahren bringt zusätzliche Sicherheit. Danach werden die Ergebnisse als offizielle Anlagen zum Standard veröffentlicht. Federführend ist der ASHRAE Standardisierungsausschuss SSPC 135. Die BIG-EU ist mit Sitz und Stimme beteiligt. Raumautomation und Energiemanagement integriert Ob schneller Überblick über vorhandene BACnet Komponenten und Systeme oder detaillierte Spezifikationen der größte BACnet Stand in der Geschichte der ISH bietet Interessierten vielfältige Informationen. Neu sind die Themen Energiemanagement, Messtechnik und Qualifikation. Stärker vertreten als bisher sind die Raumautomation, außerdem Konverter und Gateways. Numerous working groups are developing new functions and are adapting the open standard to the requirements of users. First, the templates of the working groups will be submitted to public review. This open procedure offers additional reliance. Then the results will be published as addenda to the official standard. This is masterminded by the SSPC 135 ASHRAE standards committee. The BIG-EU holds a seat and vote. Integrated room automation and energy management Whether for a quick overview of existing BACnet systems or components, or detailed specifications the largest BACnet booth in the history of ISH offers a variety of interesting information. The issues of energy management, measurement and qualification are new. Room automation, as well as converters and gateways are more predominantly represented than in the past. The focus, however, continues to be on controllers and operator workstations. Integrated into the building management system, all components together create a homogeneous building management, from single room control to intelligent integration of renewable energies and energy management systems for industrial and functional buildings. The formal qualification will help the user to implement and apply the open standard optimally. DIAL is also offering new training courses now next to the VDI knowledge forum and the international training sessions of the BIG- EU s BACnet Academy. The demand for BACnet is growing. In the meantime 90 members have joined BIG-EU and the number of providers has risen to almost 500 worldwide. At ISH, users will receive valuable insight into the future viability of the standard. 7

9 Kombiniertes Belüftungs- und Heizungssystem mit BACnet in der englischen Heathfield School Heathfield School, England: BACnet Combines Natural Ventilation and an Underfloor Heating System Anwendungen Solutions Für die Regelung des neuen Klassenzimmertraktes der Heathfield School, North Worcestershire (UK), eine der führenden unabhängigen Schulen in Kidderminster, wurde Elesta s neuste Generation der BACnet Controller eingesetzt. The new classroom block at Heathfield School, North Worcestershire s (UK) leading independent school in Kidderminster has been fitted with Elesta s latest generation BACnet control products. Mit der Ausführung des Projektes wurde Elesta s System Partner Clarkson Controls, Worcestershire beauftragt. Elesta s BACnet Building Controller Controlesta RCO 720D-W regeln sowohl die natürliche Belüftung als auch das Fußbodenheizungssystem des neuen Klassenzimmertraktes. Die im Schaltschrank der Heizzentrale installierten Controller regeln und überwachen zusätzlich die Kesselanlagen mit den dazugehörigen Pumpen sowie die Warmwasserbereitung über die modularen Ein- und Ausgangsmodule der RCO-Serie. Intelligente Klassenraumregelung Jeder Klassenraum wurde mit Clarkson s intelligenten BACnet Temperatur- und CO 2 -Sensoren C² icru ausgestattet. Die BACnet fähigen Sensoren kommunizieren über ein geschirmtes RS485-Kabel mit dem Elesta Controller RCO 720D-W mithilfe des BACnet-MS / TP Protokolls. In jedem Klassenraum werden BACnet Daten zwischen der Sensorik, Aktorik und dem RCO-Controller ausgetauscht. Der im icru integrierte 0 10 V Ausgang wird über den RCO-Regelalgorithmus aktiviert und steuert die Clarkson C² iwac Fenster-Controller an. Um die Geräuschentwicklung der installierten Fenster-Aktoren auf ein Minimum zu reduzieren, den Regeleinfluss zu erhöhen und die Luftzugproblematik zu reduzieren, steuert der iwac Controller die vier Positionen 10 %, 25 %, 45 % und 100 % der Laufzeit der 24VDC Aktoren an. Die Ventile der Fußbodenheizungsverteiler werden über die abgesetzten digitalen Ausgangsmodule der RCO-Serie angesteuert. Erfüllung britischer Bauvorschriften Architekt David Smith von GAJ UK Limited Chartered Architects kommentierte: Um den britischen Bauvorschriften zu entsprechen, insbesondere der BB101, mussten wir die Klassenräume mit einer natürlichen Belüftung versorgen. Ich war besorgt, dass die Heizung und die natürliche Belüftung automatisiert zusammenarbeiten sollten. Controlesta und der icru lösen dies problemlos, zusammen mit der zeitabhängigen Handübersteuerung der Belüftung. Optimale Regelung des Klassenzimmertraktes mit BACnet. 10 Anwendungen Solutions Durch den Einsatz der BACnet-MS / TP Kommunikation und durch die im Sensor integrierten 0 10 V Ausgänge konnte die Verkabelung auf ein Minimum reduziert werden. Aufgrund der programmierten Energieeinsparfunktionen wird eine Überschneidung der Heizsequenz und der natürlichen Belüftung verhindert. Dies führt zu einer Verbesserung der Energieeffizienz. Frostschutz und Start Optimierung werden durch das System sichergestellt. Kommunikation mit der Wetterstation Die Wetterbedingungen werden durch eine Wetterstation, die mit dem Master Controller RCO 720 D-W kommuniziert, überwacht. Bei widrigen Bedingungen werden die Fenster geschlossen oder auf eine minimale Position, je nach Saison, gesteuert. Da der RCO 720D-W über einen integrierten Webserver zur Visualisierung und Bedienung mit einem Standard Web-Browser verfügt, wurde der Controller an das IT-Netzwerk der Schule angeschlossen. Der Service Manager hat die Möglichkeit, passwortgeschützt, an seinem PC z. B. Zeitpläne, Temperaturen, CO 2 -Gehalt, Alarme und Trendlogs zu lesen oder zu ändern. Auch die Schüler haben die Möglichkeit neben den internen klimatischen Bedingungen, die Außenbedingungen wie z. B. Windgeschwindigkeit, Regen, Helligkeit und Außentemperaturen zu studieren. Andy Baker, der Facility Manager, kommentierte Es ist fantastisch all diese Möglichkeiten auf Knopfdruck zur Verfügung zu haben. Auch der Schulleiter hat über sein webfähiges Handy Zugriff auf die Anlage! Wichtig, wenn er seinen Regenschirm benötigt! Durch die Integration aller Gewerke unter einer BACnet-Bedienoberfläche wurde die Nutzung des GLT-Systems im Arbeitsalltag verbessert. Back in 2007, the Fritz Haber Institute implemented a BACnet infrastructure to offer one single user interface by using a BMS-system. Das Fritz-Haber-Institut der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft hat in Berlin bereits vor einigen Jahren (2007) BACnet in die bestehende IT-Infrastruktur integriert (siehe BACnet Journal 9, 11 / 08). Rückblickend kann festgestellt werden, dass sich der Einsatz des BACnet GLT- Systems bewährt hat. So konnte das eingesetzte GLT- System WebCTRL der Firma Automated Logic Corporation (ALC) und die im Hintergrund arbeitende MySQL Datenbank problemlos in das bestehende UNIX-Netzwerk eingebunden werden. Offenheit dank BACnet Durch die Offenheit des BACnet-Standards war es möglich, bei Neu- und Umbauten von Gewerken auf dem Campus, MSR-Techniken von verschiedenen Herstellern in das vorhandene System per BACnet / IP zu integrieren. Der Zugriff auf das GLT-System erfolgt via Internet Explorer, wodurch die Mitarbeiter der Haustechnik, von ihrem Arbeitsplatzrechner im Intranet oder aber mittels Notebook per WLAN, mit dem GLT-System arbeiten können. WebCTRL unterstützt die Anwender bei der Wartung und Überwachung der technischen Anlagen, so können z. B. Fehlermeldungen per SMS oder versandt werden. Effiziente Regelung der Klimakreisläufe Diese vielseitige und vor allem orts- und zeitunabhängige Nutzung ermöglicht den Mitarbeitern ein effizientes Regeln der Klimakreisläufe, eine schnelle Fehlerkorrektur sowie eine vorausschauende Wartung. Ebenfalls konnte durch das System eine Verbesserung der Energieeffizienz (z. B. durch Nachtabsenkung der Temperatur) erzielt werden, um nicht benötigte Energie einzusparen. Die langfristige Speicherung von Trenddaten erlaubt es, Vergleiche des Energieverbrauchs der einzelnen Gewerke vorzunehmen und gegebenenfalls Schwachstellen aufzuspüren, sowie Auswirkungen von Veränderungen (z. B. Inbetriebnahme neuer technischer Anlagen) zu evaluieren. Die Visualisierung der verschiedenen Klimakreisläufe der einzelnen Gewerke ermöglicht den Mitarbeitern ein schnelles Erkennen der anlagentechnischen Zusammenhänge und damit eine effektive und nachhaltige Optimierung. Dadurch sind Eigenentwicklungen von spezifischen Anwendungen möglich, welche auf einen speziellen Kontext zugeschnitten sind. Am Institut wurde beispielsweise ein Prototyp für Apples iphone entwickelt, mit dem Fehler-, Warn- und Statusmeldungen abgerufen werden können. Des Weiteren kann eine Steuerung und Regelung an den Feldgeräten über das Smartphone vorgenommen werden. So ist es in Zukunft vorstellbar, das BACnet System mit jedem beliebigen Smartphone zu nutzen. Die einfache Konfigurierbarkeit des BACnet Systems ermöglicht dem Institut, das GLT-System optimal auf die individuellen Bedürfnisse anzupassen. The visualization of the various climate cycles of the individual buildings allows the employees to identify the plant-specific relationships and thereby an effective and sustainable optimisation. The BMS WebCTRL was able to be fully integrated into the work of the employees of the facility management. Besides this the scientific employees are able to monitor their labs to control their experiments. Integration of the BMS system The openness of the BACnet system allows the use and integration of the BMS into own software applications. Without problems, specific reports (e.g. annual energy consumption of the individual buildings) can be produced which can be imported into standard software, e.g. Microsoft Office. Also, the existing SOAP interface of WebCTRL allows the users to retrieve the data of the individual buildings via Web Services. This allows specific applications to be developed which are customized to a specific use case. At the Institute, for example, a prototype for Apple s iphone was developed with which error, warning and status messages can be accessed. Further, control and regulation of the field devices can be done via the smartphone. In the future it is conceivable that a BACnet system could be used with any smartphone. The simple configuration of the BACnet system allows the Institute to adapt the BMS to their individual needs. Der langgestreckte Galeriebau wurde 1726 unter Markgräfin Christiane Charlotte begonnen und unter ihrem Sohn Carl Wilhelm Friedrich, bekannt als Wilder Markgraf, 1728 vollendet. Diese flexible Gebäudenutzung verlangt eine bedarfsgerechte, energieoptimierte und gleichzeitig komfortable sowie nachhaltige Bewirtschaftung. Zum Erreichen dieses Anspruchs wurde im Bereich der Gebäudeautomation und des Gebäudemanagements auf das Kommunikationsprotokoll BACnet gesetzt. Einhaltung von BACnet-Funktionalitäten Die Sanierung der Haustechnik wurde in zwei Bauabschnitten innerhalb eines öffentlichen Vergabewettbewerbes ausgeschrieben. Bei der Prüfung der Angebote war die Einhaltung der geforderten BACnet-Funktionalitäten ein entscheidender Bewertungspunkt. Das G ebäudeautomationssystem sollte Regelungs- und Kom mu nikationsm it telpunkt aller haustechnischer Gewerke werden. On account of the variable utilisation options of the orangery, all plants and systems are optimised with respect to energy depending on the requirements, and operated based on the utilisation periods, CO 2 content, type of utilisation and room size. The system was implemented with the help of the BACnet Building Controller (B- BC) DIGICONTROL ems4. CP03B-BAC supplied by GFR. Monitoring with BACnet Operator Workstation The Emergency operation of all plants and systems takes place at the automation level using 19 door-mounted modules from the ems4.xxf family (local overriding operating level in accordance with VDI 3814). The systems and plants are operated and monitored conveniently using the BACnet operator workstations (B-OWS) of GFR with the help of three 5.7 touch-screen terminals (ems4.ec3-bac) and three BCS (Building Control System) operator workstations having Internet access (webbased building control system, WEBVISION). Best interoperability GFR was able to meet these most demanding requirements very successfully since the products used have excellent characteristics in the areas of distributed intelligence, communication, real-time response, interference immunity, and they also provide outstanding interoperability in the BACnet domain. As a result of the highly modular system design, it is possible to expand and include add-ons to the hardware and software of various modules with respect to their functionality as and when desired. 16 Anwendungen Solutions Stadthalle Montabaur BACnet für offene Kommunikation Montabaur Town Hall BACnet for Open Communication Über BACnet ist das Gebäudeautomationssystem der Stadthalle Montabaur in das zentrale Gebäudemanagment der Stadt Montabaur integriert. The town hall of Montabaur is integrated into the central building management of the city via the BACnet building automation system. Die Stadthalle Montabaur, mit vollständigem Namen Stadthalle Haus Mons Tabor, ist der größte und wichtigste Veranstaltungsort in der Kreisstadt des Westerwaldkreises. Das Veranstaltungsgebäude hat rund Quadratmeter Fläche. Ein in zwei Räume aufteilbarer Saal für bis zu 950 Personen und drei weitere Tagungsräume stehen für Kultur- und Unterhaltungsprogramme, Kongresse und Seminare, Feste und private Veranstaltungen zur Verfügung. Außerdem gibt es ein Restaurant mit 80 Sitzplätzen und eine Kegelbahn. Um die Stadthalle Montabaur zu dem modernen, funktionalen Gebäude zu machen, als das sie sich heute präsentiert, waren erhebliche Anstrengungen notwendig. Von 2004 bis Herbst 2009 war die Stadthalle geschlossen, um in vier Bauabschnitten die Bausubstanz zu sanieren und Funktionalität und Gestaltung zu verbessern. Im letzten Bauabschnitt erhielt das Gebäude eine neue Heizungs- und Lüftungsanlage, die über ein ebenfalls neues Gebäudeautomationssystem gesteuert und geregelt wird. Anforderungen des Bauherrn an das Automationssystem waren Energieeffizienz, eine gute Luftqualität in allen Räumen und eine komfortable Bedienung. Zudem sollte das Automationssystem nahtlos in das bestehende, übergreifende Gebäudemanagement der Stadt und der Verbandsgemeinde Montabaur integriert werden. Alles das leistet das Automationssystem DDC4000 von Kieback&Peter. Einfache Integration durch BACnet Eine Automationsstation DDC4200 steuert die Heizungsanlage mit zwei Heizkesseln, einem Mini-Blockheizkraftwerk inklusive Pufferspeicher, einer Warmwasserbereitung mit Wärmerückgewinnung sowie zwei Fußbodenheizkreisen und sieben statischen Heizkreisen. Eine weitere Automationsstation DDC4200 regelt die komplette Lüftung inklusive vier Abluftanlagen. Das Automationssystem DDC4000 ist über einen BACnet-OPC-Server mit dem Gebäudemanagement der Stadt Montabaur verbunden. Über den BACnet- OPC-Server werden die Daten an die Gebäudeleittechnik B-ConPro der Firma Iconag übergeben. Der OPC- Standard ermöglicht die Verständigung unterschiedlicher Bussysteme und Protokolle untereinander. Verbrauchsdaten per M-Bus Für die lokale Vorrangbedienung im Heizungssystem sind Ein- und Ausgabe- Module am Feldbus FBM38 und FBM44 sowie Bedien- Module FSM26, FSM14 und FSM25 installiert. Die Gateway-Module am Schaltschrankbus SBM51 / 02 und SBM51 / 04 integrieren die Wilo-Umwälzpumpen und übermitteln über M-Bus die Zählerstände an das Automationssystem. In der Lüftungsanlage wird ein Bedien-Modul SBM44 als Meldetableau für die Brandschutzklappen genutzt. Die Danfoss-Frequenzumrichter der Lüftungsanlage sind über ein Gateway-Modul in das System integriert. Auch diese Ein- und Ausgabe-Module, Gateway-Module und Bedienmodule sind von Kieback&Peter. Insgesamt umfasst das System mehr als Datenpunkte. Anforderungen erfüllt Trotz des zeitlich eng gesetzten Rahmens für die Gebäudeautomation und obwohl die alten Schaltschränke der Lüftungsanlage erneuert werden mussten, konnte das Projekt durch die Kieback&Peter Niederlassung Rhein-Main rechtzeitig fertiggestellt werden. The DDC4000 automation system is connected to the building management of the town of Montabaur by way of a BACnet OPC Server. Via the BACnet OPC Server, the building management data is passed on to the B- ConPro building management system from the ICO- NAG company. The OPC standard enables different bus systems and protocols to communicate with each other. Consumption data via M-Bus For local priority service in the heating system, input and output modules were installed on the FBM38 FBM44 field bus as well as the FSM26, FSM14 and FSM25 control modules. 19 Anwendungen Solutions Passiv-Bürogebäude in Grevenmacher-Potaschberg mit BACnet PcVue and Passivhaus Monitoring an Ultra-low-energy Building Das zukunftsweisende Gebäude besteht aus einer Klinik für Physio- und medizinische Muskeltherapie sowie aus dem Büros des Erbauers, Steffen Holzbau. Alle Effizienzsysteme werden von einem PcVue 9,0 BMS-System mit Fernbedienung WebVue Zugang in Verbindung mit BACnet Controller und Kommunikation überwacht. This trend-setting building comprises a clinic for hysiotherapy and medical muscletherapybuilding plus the offices of the builder, Steffen Holzbau. All of the efficiency systems are monitored from a PcVue 9.0 BMS system with remote WebVue access linked to BACnet controllers and communication. Unterschiedlichste technische Vorgaben wurden an das BACnet-Netzwerk gestellt. Gefordert waren DDCs von SAIA Burgess for BMS mit nativer BACnet-Kommunikation. Für den Schwimm- und Therapiebeckenbereich sollte ein Menerga Controll-System eingesetzt werden. Als BACnet Operator Workstation und Leitsystem zur Steuerung und Visualisierung der Anlage war PcVue gefordert. Systemintegrator war GIGA Automation, ein PcVue Solutions Certified Partner für Deutschland und Luxemburg, spezialisiert auf integriertes Gebäudemanagement. Beheizung erfolgen hauptsächlich über Bodenventilatorkonvektoren, angeordnet vor den Fenstern. Die Lüftungsanlagen sind alle mit Wärmerückgewinnungssystemen und einer adiabaten Kühlung ausgestattet. Die Wärmeversorgung des Gebäudes, der Lüftungsanlagen und des Schwimmbades werden über einen Holzhackkessel (100 kw) sowie über einen Ölspitzenlastkessel (140 kw) sichergestellt. Zur solaren Warmwasserbereitung und zur Heizungsunterstützung wurden auf dem Dach ca. 50 m² Kollektorflächen aufgestellt. Die erforderliche Kühllast des Gebäudes wird durch eine Kältemaschine mit ca. 200 kw Leistung abgedeckt. Das ca. 65 m² große Therapiebecken aus Edelstahl ist Optimale Raumkühlung Etwa m² der Gesamtfläche entfallen auf den Bereich Kinesiotherapie und medizinische Einrichtungen, 950 m² auf den Bereich Steffen Holzbau. An etwa 65 Stellen in Fassade, Dach und Decke werden Messfühler eingebaut, um in den jeweiligen Bauteilen die Temperatur und teilweise auch die Feuchtigkeit zu messen. A minimum ecological footprint The building conforms to the Passivhaus standard for energy efficiency with minimum ecological footprint. The clinical and administrative areas have each been optimized for ultra-low energy usage across several kinds of heating and cooling. Two central ventilation systems provide sterilized air to both areas. The cooling and heating plant uses special convector systems built into the floors and arranged in front of the window surfaces. The ventilation is equipped with efficient heat recovery systems and adiabatic cooling. There are approximately 50 m² of solar panels on the roof for hot water production and heating support. As backup for the solar water heating (140 kw), both the ventilation and the pool heating are assisted by woodchip boilers (100 kw) and an oilburning system. The therapy pool of highgrade steel has a water treatment system installed to ensure water quality. The pool is equipped with a countercurrent feature and underwater massage nozzles. Space heating and dehumidifying of the swimmingpool area are achieved with a special air handling unit. Monitoring by central GLT PcVue 9.0 combines the data from those systems and from 65 sensors at various points in the façade, roof and outer surface of the building to measure temperature and in some cases humidity. The results are sent to a laboratory for evaluation to assess the influence of external conditions on the internal environment and thus help to optimize the building s energy performance. Complete control with BACnet For complete control of the clinical and office areas, the BACnet EDE-File Import process populates the Pc- Vue database automatically. The BACnet communication gives access to 2,000 BACnet I / O points in total. The project also includes BACnet Scheduling for the pool heating cycle.
