20 Conclusions Ceramic materials have great potential for tool applications in hot and cold rolling Mechanical properties are different from steel materials; this has to be taken into account regarding interaction between rolled material, rolls and rolling stand First results are available for cold rolling of metal foils Transfer to other rolling processes is possible, but suitable roll clamping has to investigated in detail STAHL 2013 Stahlinstitut VDEh Wirtschaftsvereinigung Stahl
