10 Question 9 (11 marks) Ein Pop-Duo trennt sich Gabi Eidelstein und Dieter Müller, die durch ihre Hits Mein Herz und Schmetterlinge bekannt geworden sind, sind nicht mehr ein Paar. Am Freitag gaben die beiden Musiker ihre Trennung bekannt. Bis zu den letzten Monaten, in denen sie kaum mehr gemeinsam gesungen haben, war das Duo eins der populärsten der deutschen Musikwelt. Gerüchte gab es schon seit Wochen, und für Fans sind diese schlechten Nachrichten keine Überraschung. Enttäuscht sind sie trotzdem. Und dieser Sache ist sich Dieter bewusst. Dieter verkündet auf seiner Website: Gabi wird immer einen festen Platz in meinem Herzen haben. Daran wird auch unsere Trennung nichts ändern ich bin mir sicher, dass wir trotz allem Freunde bleiben. Ich will mich jetzt ins Privatleben zurückziehen. Ich möchte mein Studium wieder aufnehmen, das war mir schon immer wichtig und mir läuft die Zeit davon. Ich freue mich schon auf meine nächste Lebensphase. Gabi und ich haben uns ganz ohne böses Blut getrennt. Sie hat eine außergewöhnliche Stimme und ich bin sicher, dass ihre Zukunft blendend aussieht. Und auch die 27-jährige Gabi äußert sich per Website-Nachricht. Auf ihrer Homepage heißt es: Ich verstehe die Reaktion der Fans und bitte gleichzeitig um Verständnis. Im Leben gibt es immer wieder Hürden, die man nicht eingeplant hat. Wir müssen diese überwinden und unseren Weg weiterverfolgen. Dieter und ich waren viereinhalb Jahre als Pop-Duo zusammen, und jetzt lässt er das einfach fallen. Obwohl wir uns kannten, seit wir Schulkameraden waren, kam seine Entscheidung für mich unerwartet. Ich bin dankbar für unseren Riesenerfolg und unsere gemeinsame Zeit. Jetzt allerdings bin ich von der Unterstützung meiner treuen Fans abhängig. Das bedeutet mir viel. Jetzt brauche ich euch wirklich. 10
11 Question 10 (14 marks) von Michael B. Aus dem Alltag einer modernen Familie Angefangen hat alles letzten Monat mit der begeisterten Mitteilung meiner Schwester Susi, dass sie sich in den kommenden Ferien einen Diamanten in ihren Zahn hineinbohren lassen würde. Da unser Bruder Boris bereits mit einem tätowierten Totenkopf am Oberarm herumlief, konnte mein Vater nun nichts mehr dagegen haben, meinte sie. Papa war verblüfft und machte ihr deutlich, dass sie einmal bereuen könnte, ihre schönen Zähne mit Absicht zu schädigen, und dass die Sache mit Boris ein ganz anderer Fall war. Aber vergebens die Susi war fest entschlossen. In diesem Moment wurde Papa klar, dass sein elterlicher Einfluss enorm an Gewicht verloren hatte. Zum Erstaunen aller kündigte Papa aber später an diesem Abend an, dass wir ab folgendem Montag zu viert eine Reise machen würden. Er hatte innerhalb kürzester Zeit am Internet alles organisiert und gebucht einen Aktivurlaub in Österreich. Er war die letzten Monate zu oft beruflich unterwegs gewesen und wollte wieder mehr mit uns in Kontakt treten. Denn schließlich: Was du heute kannst besorgen, das verschiebe nicht auf morgen Von seinem Gesicht konnten wir deutlich ablesen, wie er sich fühlte. Die Zeit in Österreich erwies sich merkwürdigerweise als Erfolg. Obwohl mein Vater sich schöne Stunden im Familienkreis vorgestellt hatte, verbrachten Susi und Boris ihre Zeit im Ausgehviertel von Salzburg und schliefen bis Mittag. Anstatt etwas dagegen zu sagen, sah mein Vater ein, dass seine kleinen Vögel ausgeflogen waren, daher nutzte er die Gelegenheit, vieles mit mir, seinem Jüngsten, zusammen zu unternehmen. Für mich war die gemeinsame Zeit mit Papa toll, und auch er konnte sich erstmals seit langem richtig entspannen. Und die Susi? Die hat sich schließlich gegen den Diamanten im Zahn entschieden, nicht, weil mein Vater es für wünschenswert hielt, sondern weil es inzwischen zu einem Trend geworden war. Und das langweilt sie. Papa ist erleichtert, aber realistisch. Langsam versteht er, dass es Susi wichtig ist, ihre Individualität auszudrücken. Für ihn wird sie sowieso immer etwas Besonderes sein. Er sagt, er wartet jetzt mal ab, was die nächsten Wochen bringen 11

You have received the following from your friend Pauli. Write an in response. Hallo Fredi! Gute Nachrichten! Ich werde nächstes Jahr von zu Hause ausziehen. Ich habe vor, hier im Dorf in eine Wohnung zu ziehen und im Familienbetrieb zu arbeiten. Der Job ist zwar nicht sehr interessant, aber als 19-Jähriger kann ich damit ganz gut verdienen. Andererseits habe ich nicht viele Gründe, hier auf dem Land zu bleiben. Ich muss mich fragen, ob das Leben in der Stadt letztendlich nicht besser wäre. Die Entscheidung ist wirklich schwer! Und jetzt die schlechten Nachrichten: Mit der Fahrprüfung am Freitag ist es leider schief gelaufen. Ich habe versucht, locker zu bleiben, wurde aber total nervös und habe einen blöden Fehler gemacht. Damit war die Prüfung vorbei: Ich musste sofort aussteigen schon wieder durchgefallen! Es ist wirklich peinlich! Und noch dazu sind meine Eltern jetzt auch sauer ganz verständlich, sie müssen mir noch mehr Fahrstunden bezahlen. Vielleicht sollte ich es einfach aufgeben aber wie komme ich ohne Führerschein zurecht? Mir dreht sich der Kopf gib mir doch bitte mal deinen Rat! Mit lieben Grüßen, Pauli 12
