Bei Iterationslängen von wenigen Wochen verursacht das beträchtlichen Mehraufwand für den Test, der sich noch dazu am Ende der Iteration konzentriert, wodurch das Ziel eines voll getesteten Systems am Ende jeder Iteration oft nicht erreicht werden kann. Testen ist ein kritischer Erfolgsfaktor für agile Projekte! Dieser Workshop bietet mittels Theorie und praktischen Übungen einen Einstieg in agiles Testen. We will refine acceptance criteria in Gherkin, automate them and practice refactoring of automated scenarios. The exercises will be done in.net/c#, using the open-source SpecFlow framework ( The workshop is for developers and testers who are familiar with Visual Studio. We will work with an example domain using a trunk implementation which we ll extend during the course. We will discuss scenarios using examples to understand and clarify new acceptance criteria, which we will then formalize using the Gherkin specification language. From there we ll extend our existing system outside-in, using the automated Gherkin scenarios as our starting point.
