Information for Exhibitors and Sponsors The 73rd Annual Meeting of the German Geophysical Society e.v. (DGG) will take place in Leipzig from 4th 7th March 2013.

2 Information for Exhibitors and Sponsors The 73rd Annual Meeting of the German Geophysical Society e.v. (DGG) will take place in Leipzig from 4th 7th March It is organized by the Institute of Geophysics and Geology, and the Department Monitoring and Exploration Technologies, part of the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ). We expect more than 500 participants providing the highest competence in the field of geophysics in the German-speaking countries. Especially, the conference is also a forum for young academics. Among the participants of the meeting will be decision makers in charge of buying equipment and requesting for geophysical services. Therefore, the DGG Annual Meeting is a forum to present your products and services to the scientific community as well as it gives the opportunity to discuss with clients and potential customers. In addition to the exhibition the meeting provides several occasions for direct sponsoring which is an excellent chance to give more information about your company and particular fields of interest. The Meeting relies on your support. The fee for the booth and a possible sponsoring would be an important contribution to support the activities of the DGG. In particular students get the possibility to participate for a reduced price. Exhibition The Meeting will take place in the lecture building (Hörsaalgebäude) at the main campus of, directly situated in the city center. The company exhibition is located in the central part of the conference area (see site map). The booth space can be chosen to 5 m 2 or 10 m 2. The price per 5 m 2 booth contains the conference fee for one company representative (incl. participation at the conference dinner) and the booth itself with one table plus chair. In addition, internet access and power supply are free of charge. For larger booth spaces or if poster walls are required, please contact the person responsible for the exhibition (see below). The company exhibition will open on Monday, 4th March 2013 at 5 p.m. and continue until Wednesday, 6th March at 5.30 p.m. The deadline for the booth reservation is terminated to the 08th January The location of your booth is chosen depending on the time of registration, the booth space and the number of former participations in the annual meetings of the DGG and will be placed by the administration team.

Job Center A big part of participants are young academics being close to finish their degrees at university. A lot of them will leave university afterwards and are looking for a job in the industry. Therefore we are offering the opportunity for companies to present themselves and to get into a first contact with potential future employees. If you as an employer are interested in taking part in such a job center, please contact us. We will arrange adequate rooms giving the right atmosphere for interviews and discussions.
