1 Deutsch 3 Frau Boshier During our 3 rd year of studying German we will review the grammar we learned and deepen our knowledge of it. There will only be a few new grammatical units. I expect you to do a lot of self-study this year. Go to the website listed on my webpage under Resources and Links. The grammar tests will be based on the Strukturen units of our text/workbook ( Treffpunkt Deutsch ). We will not always cover everything in the book during class and you should study the material at home, esp. the on-line practice tests listed under the heading Strukturen. There will also be regular vocabulary test. To pass those tests you need to take good notes when I introduce the vocabulary related to the Themen (=topics) units. There will also be vocabulary tests after every third installment of Keine Panik. 1. Students in German 3 most often continue to German 4 / 5 (AP) and it is therefore essential that they become familiar with the National Standards at this stage.
