Zusammengehörige Bilder und Texte sind mit den gleichen Großbuchstaben gekennzeichnet. Gefahr! Stromschlag möglich bei unsachgemäßer Installation Installation nur durch Elektro-Fachbetriebe unter Beachtung der VDE 0100 oder der national gültigen Regelwerke. Die Modelle und benötigen bauseits einen 230 V Netzanschluss. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung Die Viega Siphon Sensortechnik ist ausschließlich geeignet für den Einsatz in den Viega Vorwandsystemen Viegaswift, Steptec und Viega Eco Plus. Die Installation ist von unterwiesenem Fachpersonal vorzunehmen unter Beachtung der örtlichen Bauvorschriften für Sanitär und Elektroinstallationen. Die Nutzung für andere als die aufgeführten Anwendungen oder mit Komponenten, die nicht zum Viega System gehören, ist mit unserem Werk in Attendorn abzustimmen. Hinweis: Nach 24 h Nichtbenutzung wird automatisch eine Hygienespülung ausgelöst Œ-Konformität Die Viega Urinal-Siphon-Sensortechnik wurde konform den europäischen Richtlinien hergestellt. Folgende Anforderungen wurden berücksichtigt: EN EN EN /2 EN EN EN EN C Anordnung der Komponenten in der Vorwand Viega Urinalelemente/-module entsprechend den Produkten beigefügten Gebrauchsanleitungen montieren. Vor dem Verkleiden der Vorwand müssen folgende Arbeiten abgeschlossen sein: Wasseranschluss zur Urinal-Zulaufarmatur herstellen. Reed-Kontakt/Sensor/Kartuschenventil Die Kabel des Reed-Kontaktes und des Sensors müssen in die UP-Dose gelegt werden. Die Kabelenden müssen auf die Steuerung aufgesteckt werden. Das Kartuschenventil ist zu montieren und ebenfalls an die Steuerung anzuschließen. Netzteil: Das mitgelieferte Netzteil muss wie beschrieben in die UP-Dose eingesetzt werden. Bauseitig muss das Netzteil an die Spannungsversorgung angeschlossen werden. Das Steckerende wird auf die Steuerung aufgesteckt. Die UP-Dose muss für die weitere Montage zugänglich bleiben. Batteriebetrieb Alternativ zum Netzanschluss kann auch ein Batteriefach montiert werden. Dieses ist nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten und muss separat bestellt werden. Modell (Artikelnummer ). Das Batteriefach wird bei der Montage in das Viega Urinal-Rohbauset eingelegt. Überwachung des Batteriezustandes: Ein Signalton vor dem Spülvorgang weist auf schwache Batterien hin. Die Batterien sollten gewechselt werden. Ein Signalton nach der Benutzung ohne erfolgten Spülvorgang weist auf fast leere Batterien hin. Die Batterien sind sofort zu ersetzen _Siphonsensortechnik.indd :38

7 D D Gebrauchsanleitung Viega Siphon-Sensortechnik Montage (Rohbau) Wasserstrecke vom Rohbauset zum Urinalzulauf herstellen (siehe Bild C). Bauschutz (Styroporkörper) des Urinal-Rohbausets abnehmen. Deckel der UP-Dose abnehmen. Mitgeliefertes Netzteil in die UP-Dose einsetzen. Eingangsseitig wird das Netzteil an die Spannungsversorgung angeschlossen. Vorsicht Stromschlag! Die UP-Dose kann nun wieder verschlossen werden. Sie muss aber für spätere Arbeiten zugänglich sein! Das Steckerende des Netzteils wird in das Urinal-Rohbauset geführt. Bauschutz (Styroporkörper) des Urinal-Rohbausets kann wieder aufgesetzt werden. Die Vorwand kann nun nach den Viega Vorgaben beplankt und verfliest werden. Das beiliegende Verlängerungskabel des Reed-Kontaktes und das Sensorkabel werden in die UP-Dose und in das Urinal-Rohbauset geführt. Hinweis: Bei Montage des Viega Urinal-Rohbausets in Nebenräumen oder abgehängten Decken muss ein Rückflussverhinderer (Art.- Nr ) installiert werden. E Fertiginstallation und Inbetriebnahme Der Deckel der UP-Dose ist zu öffnen. Das beiliegende Kabel des Reed- Kontaktes und des Sensors werden mit den installierten Kabelenden in der UP-Dose verbunden. Anschließend wird die UP-Dose wieder verschlossen. Der Reed-Kontakthalter wird rückseitig in die Urinal-Keramik geklebt. Bitte beachten: Der Reed- Kontakt sollte an eine markante Stelle geklebt werden, damit er später wiedergefunden wird (z.b. unterhalb des Hersteller-Logos, da er später zur Einstellung der Steuerung dient). Hinweis: Die Klebestelle vorher reinigen. Halterung kräftig andrücken und festen Sitz überprüfen. Der Reed-Kontakt wird in den Halter eingeclipst. Die Urinal-Keramik wird abschließend montiert. Der Bauschutz (Styroporkörper) des Urinal-Rohbausets wird abgenommen. Die Vorabsperrung öffnen und die Leitung durchspülen, danach Vorab sperrung wieder schließen. Baustopfen entfernen (SW 17) und mitgeliefertes Kartuschenventil (SW 32) eindrehen. Das Steckerende des Kartuschenventils wird auf die Steuerung aufgesteckt (auf rote Buchse). Die Steuerung wird in das Viega Urinal-Rohbauset-Spülsystem eingesetzt. Das Absaugeformstück mit montiertem Sensor wird auf die Urinal-Keramik aufgesteckt. Die weiteren Steckerenden werden in dieser Reihenfolge auf die Steuerung aufgesteckt. Stecker Kartuschenventil (auf rote Buchse) Stecker Reed-Kontakt (auf schwarze Buchse) Stecker Sensor (auf blaue Buchse) Stecker Netzteil (auf schwarze Buchse) 7 Inbetriebnahme: Im Urinal-Rohbauset Vorab sper rung wieder öffnen. Bei der Inbetriebnahme kann mit lauwarmen Wasser ein Funktionstest durchgeführt werden. Dabei wird das lauwarme Wasser in die Urinal-Keramik eingeleitet. Hinweis: Das Wasser sollte langsam auf die Rückwand der Keramik eingeleitet werden. Die Reaktionszeit der Spülung kann zwischen 5 25 s (abhängig von den Strömungseigenschaften der Urinal-Keramik) betragen. Wird die Spülung mehrmals erst nach 45 s ausgelöst, sollte der Sensor im Absaugegerät überprüft werden. Bei Verwendung der Werkseinstellung (3 Liter Spülmenge) entfallen die nachfolgend aufgeführten Einstellmöglichkeiten unter Punkt F. Die Steuerung ist unmittelbar betriebsbereit. Danach wird eine Hauptspülung ausgelöst. Anschließend schaltet die Steuerung wieder in das voreingestellte Spülprogramm zurück. Hauptspülung Es wird eine Hauptspülung ausgelöst. Anschließend schaltet die Steuerung wieder in das voreingestellte Spülprogramm zurück. Intervall-Reinigung Spülstopp für 2 Minuten, z.b. um Entkalker einwirken zu lassen. Danach folgen im Intervall von je 2 Minuten 5 kurze Spülungen. Zum Schluss schaltet die Steuerung wieder in das voreingestellte Spülprogramm zurück. The set is only to be installed by qualified electricians working in compliance with VDE 0100 or the corresponding national regulations. Models and require a 230 V mains power supply on site. Intended use Viega siphon sensor technology is exclusively for use with the Viega pre wall systems Viegaswift, Steptec and Viega Eco Plus. Installation should be carried out by qualified professionals and in accordance with local building regulations for sanitary and electrical installations. Use for any other application with components, which do not belong to the Viega system, must be discussed and agreed with our factory in Attendorn. The following requirements have been fulfilled: EN EN EN /2 EN EN EN EN C Arrangement of the components in the wall Assemble the urinal elements/modules in accordance with the supplied instruction for use. Before the cladding of the walls, the following tasks must be carried out: Provide a water connection to the urinal supply fitting. Reed contact/sensor/cartridge valve The cables from the reed contact and the sensor must be laid in the concealed box. The cable ends must be connected to the control unit. The cartridge valve should be mounted and also connected to the control unit. Mains power cable The mains power cable supplied must be placed in the concealed box. The power cable must be connected to the power supply on site. The plug end is plugged into the control unit. The concealed box must remain accessible for further assembly. Battery operation As an alternative to the mains power supply, a battery can also be mounted. This is not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately. Model (article number ). The battery pod is installed in the Viega urinal base unit during installation. Battery level A beep before the flush indicates a low battery level. The batteries should be replaced. 11 GB D Instruction for use Viega siphon sensor technology Assembly (skeleton construction) Make a connection to supply water from the skeleton set to the urinal supply (see graphic C). Remove the on-site protective cover (polystyrene part) of the urinal skeleton. Remove the cover from the concealed box. Install the mains cable supplied in the concealed box. The input side of the power cable is connected to the power supply. Beware of electric shock! The concealed box can now be reclosed. It must remain accessible for further assembly work. The plug end of the power cable is led into the urinal skeleton set. The on-site protective cover (polystyrene cover) can be replaced onto the urinal skeleton set. The front wall can now be clad and tiled according to Viega instructions. The extension cable of the reed contact and the sensor cable are led into the concealed socket and into the urinal carcass set. Note: when installing the Viega Urinal skeleton set in closets or lowered ceilings a backflow preventer (article number ) must be fitted. E Completion of installation and commissioning The cover of the concealed box is opened. The cable of the reed contact and the sensor supplied are connected to the installed cable ends in the concealed box. The concealed box is then reclosed. The reed contact holder is glued to the rear side of the urinal ceramic. Please observe: the reed contact should be attached in a prominent place, this allows it to be found later (e.g. under the manufacturer s logo, because it is later used for programming the settings). Note: The position should be cleaned well before gluing. The holder should be pressed on firmly and its position should be secure. The reed contact is clipped into the holder. The urinal ceramic is then installed. The protective cover is removed from the urinal set. Open the main shut-off and flush the pipe out, reclose the main shut-off. Remove construction plug (SW17) and the screw in the cartridge valve supplied (SW32). The plug end of the cartridge valve is placed on the control unit (to the red connection). The control unit is installed in the urinal skeleton set flush system. The suction moulded part with a sensor mounted on it is positioned on the urinal ceramic. The other plug ends should be connected to the control unit in this order. During commissioning, the functionality test can be carried out using lukewarm water. This involves running lukewarm water into the urinal ceramic. Note: the water should be introduced slowly onto the back wall of the ceramic. The reaction time of the flush can be between 5-25 s (depending on the flow characteristics of the urinal ceramic). If the flush is not activated until after 45 seconds on many occasions, the sensor in the suction device should be checked. When using the factory settings (3 litre flush volume) the setting possibilities mentioned in point F are no longer valid. The control unit is set for immediate operation.
