Specific Media Regulation includes (planned European Regulation) - Product placement forbidden in media content (exception: light entertainment, sports), no product placement in kid s programs (= games produced for kids); no direct offers, no influence on content (strong ban on ingame-advertising); - Special advertising and sponsoring restrictions for tobacco, alcohol and medical products; special restrictions for advertising directed to kids; - Special content prohibitions or restrictions (access control): discriminatory content, hate speech; content harmful to younger people; - Platform Regulation includes (planned German Regulation) - Technical openness and non-discrimnatory access to other broadcasters ( 52c Broadcasting Law 2008: obligatory interfaces) to garantee diversity and pluralism of content; - Registration requirement for platform operators.
