1 PRESS RELEASE PEGAS: Successful launch of NBP Gas Spot and Futures and PSV Gas Future contracts Leipzig, Paris, 27 March 2015 PEGAS, the pan-european gas trading platform operated by Powernext, announces the successful launch of products for the British and Italian gas hubs on 26 March On the UK s National Balancing Point (NBP), PEGAS launched physically settled Spot contracts, available for 24/7 trading, and Futures contracts. On Italy s Punto di Scambio Virtuale (PSV), financially settled Futures (ICIS Heren) are offered for trading. Yesterday, on the first day of trading, transactions were concluded for both new market areas. When the market opened, 13 trading members were already set up for trading on NBP with more members, currently in the process of being admitted. The first transaction was concluded at 08:44 am CET on NBP Spot Within-Day at pence per therm with a volume of 100,000 therms between E.ON Global Commodities and Delta Energy BV. In total, a volume of 250,000 therms was traded on the first trading day. The successful launch was possible thanks to the great support we have received from the UK gas trading community, including the British authorities. We look forward to the upcoming launch of the first location spread between the Zeebrugge and NBP hubs later in April, comments Dr. Egbert Laege, Executive Director Gas Markets of EEX Group. The launch of the Zeebrugge Spot and Futures is scheduled for 17 April 2015, as well as the location spread ZEE/NBP which will be available for trading the first time on an exchange.

2 On the PSV hub, the first transaction was completed at 08:35 AM CET for April 2015 delivery between Axpo Italia and GDF Suez Trading for a price of Euro/MWh and a volume of 21,600 MWh. The total volume in PSV contracts amounted to 28,800 MWh on the first trading day. Also 13 members were ready for trading, further members are in the admission process. 4 PRESSEMITTEILUNG PEGAS: NBP Gas Spot- und Futureskontrakte sowie PSV Gas- Futures erfolgreich gestartet Leipzig, Paris, 27. März 2015 PEGAS, die von Powernext betriebene paneuropäische Gashandelsplattform, hat gestern erfolgreich neue Produkte für die britischen und italienischen Marktgebiete gestartet: Für den britischen National Balancing Point (NBP) starteten auf PEGAS physisch erfüllte Spotkontrakte für den 24/7-Handel sowie physische Futureskontrakte. Am italienischen Punto di Scambio Virtuale (PSV) startete der Handel mit finanziellen Futures (ICIS Heren). Am ersten Handelstag (26. März 2015) wurden in beiden neuen Marktgebieten Geschäfte abgeschlossen. Zur Eröffnung des Marktes waren 13 Handelsteilnehmer zum Handel an NBP bereit, weitere Teilnehmer befinden sich in der Zulassung. Die erste Transaktion wurde um 08:44 Uhr (MEZ) im NBP Spot Within-Day Markt zum Preis von 48,00 pence/therm mit einem Volumen von therms zwischen E.ON Global Commodities und Delta Energy BV geschlossen. Insgesamt wurde am ersten Handelstag ein Volumen von therms gehandelt. Die Unterstützung der britischen Gashandelsteilnehmer, einschließlich der britischen Behörden, hat zu diesem erfolgreichen Start beigetragen. Im April ergänzen wir unser Angebot noch um den Location-Spread zwischen dem belgischen Zeebrügge (ZEE) - Hub und NBP, kommentiert Dr. Egbert Laege, Executive Director Gas Markets der EEX-Gruppe. Die Einführung von Spot- und Futureskontrakten für den belgischen Zeebrügge Hub ist für den 17. April 2015 geplant, und damit einhergehend der Spread zwischen ZEE/NBP, der erstmalig an einer Börse zum Handel angeboten wird.

5 Am italienischen PSV Hub wurde das erste Handelsgeschäft gestern um 08:35 Uhr (MEZ) zur Lieferung im April zwischen Axpo Italia und GDF Suez Trading zum Preis von 23,00 Euro/MWh und mit einem Volumen von MWh geschlossen. Am PSV waren ebenfalls 13 Handelsteilnehmer startklar, weitere Unternehmen befinden sich im Zulassungsprozess. Das Gesamtvolumen am PSV betrug am ersten Handelstag MWh. 7 COMMUNIQUE DE PRESSE PEGAS: Lancement réussi des contrats NBP Spot et Futures et des contrats PSV Futures Leipzig, Paris, le 27 mars 2015 PEGAS, la plateforme de négociation de gaz paneuropéenne gérée par Powernext, annonce le lancement réussi des nouveaux contrats sur les hubs gaziers britanniques et italiens le 26 mars Des contrats physiques Spot ouverts à la négociation en 24/7, ainsi que des produits Futures ont été lancés sur le National Balancing Point (NBP) britannique. Sur le Punto di Scambio Virtuale (PSV) italien, des contrats financiers Futures sont disponibles à la négociation. Des transactions ont été effectuées sur les deux nouvelles zones de livraison au cours du premier jour de négociation. 13 membres de marché étaient en mesure de négocier au NBP à l ouverture du marché et d autres membres sont actuellement en cours de procédure d adhésion. La première transaction a été réalisée à 08h44 CET sur le NBP Spot Within-Day à pence par therme, pour un volume de therms entre E.ON Global Commodities et Delta Energy BV. Le lancement des contrats Spot et Futures sur le hub belge Zeebrugge est prévu pour le 17 avril, de même que le spread géographique ZEE/NBP qui sera disponible pour la toute première fois sur une bourse.
