2 Question 4. Im Hotel [12 marks] You are an exchange student in Germany. Your parents will be visiting soon. You go to a hotel and talk to the receptionist there. Your parents want a double room with a bath from the 23 till the 28 th of June. Below is the receptionist s side of the conversation. Please fill in your side of the conversation in German. Please use full sentences where you can. You may use the lines provided to fill in your side of the conversation if you wish. NB Please read through everything the receptionist says at least once, before attempting to write anything! Empfangsdame: Guten Tag! Bitte schön? Sie: (would like to reserve room)? 3 Question 5. Text Comprehension Please read the dialogue carefully before you answer the questions in English Monika und Claudia are in Karstadt, a department store. Claudie wants to buy a dress as she s going to a wedding. In der Abteilung Damenbekleidung (A = shop assistant) C: Schau mal, Monika, dieses Kleid ist das nicht toll? M: Mmmhh, ich weiß nicht Die Farbe gefällt mir nicht. Aber wie findest du dieses? C: Ja doch, hübsch. Welche Größe ist es? 38, das ist richtig. Ich probiere das Kleid mal an (tries it on) Nein, dieses Kleid gefällt mir nicht es ist zu lang. Vielleicht nehme ich diesen Rock hier eine neue schwarze Bluse habe ich zu Hause. Wie gefällt dir dieser Rock? M: Ja, der ist schön aber ist er nicht etwas zu kurz? C: Nein, das ist in Ordnung Dieser Rock gefällt mir. M: Prima wie teuer? C: 55 Euro, das ist okay. A: Kann ich Ihnen helfen? C: Ja danke, ich nehme den Rock Ich muss noch etwas für Michael kaufen, er braucht ein neues Hemd und eine neue Krawatte. M: Los, dann gehen wir in die Herrenabteilung! 4 Question 6. The Perfect Tense [10 marks] Was hat Martin letzte Woche gemacht? Martin is an exchange student from Darmstadt studying at CIT. Below is an extract from his itinerary for some of last week. Write in full sentences what he did during those days, using the Perfect tense.
