6 HISTORIE COMPANY HISTORY 1955 hatte der Erfinder und Tüftler Alexander Hummel eine zündende Idee Mobiliar für Messen vermieten! Basierend auf diesen Anfängen gründete Volker Weidenbach 1975 die Hummel Möbelverleih GmbH, die zunächst Service Partner der Messen München und Friedrichshafen wurde. Im Jahr 2007 folgte die Partnerschaft mit der NürnbergMesse und die Eröffnung der Nürnberger Niederlassung. Heute fast 60 Jahre später zählt unser Familienunternehmen zu den Top 5 der deutschen Möbelvermieter mit 40 Mitarbeitern und über Kunden Der Erfinder Alexander Hummel gründet eine Firma, die Mobiliar und Ausstattung für Messen vermietet. Firmenneugründung durch Volker Weidenbach mit 3 Mitarbeitern und vermietbaren Möbelstücken Hummel wird Service Partner der Messen München und Friedrichshafen Erweiterung auf m² Lagerfläche, 15 Mitarbeiter und vermietbare Möbelstücke Einstieg Sebastian Weidenbach in das Unternehmen The inventor Alexander Hummel founds a company specialised in hiring out furnishings for trade fairs. Volker Weidenbach takes over Hummel s firm and turns it into Hummel Möbelverleih GmbH with 3 staff members and 1,000 pieces of rental furniture. Hummel becomes the official service partner of Messe München and Messe Friedrichshafen. The company now has 1,500 m2 of storage space, 15 staff members and 10,000 pieces of rental furniture. Sebastian Weidenbach joins the company.

7 In 1955, the inventor Alexander Hummel had the bright idea of making furniture available for hire at trade fairs. Volker Weidenbach took over this enterprise in 1975 and founded Hummel Möbelverleih GmbH, which was soon to become the official service partner of Messe München and Messe Friedrichshafen. In 2007, the company opened an additional office branch in Nuremberg after setting up a service partnership with NürnbergMesse. Today almost 60 years later our family company has succeeded in becoming one of the 5 German rental furniture providers with 40 employees and over 20,000 customers Einstieg Florian Weidenbach in das Unternehmen Florian Weidenbach joins the company. Hummel wird Service Partner der NürnbergMesse und Eröffnung der Niederlassung in Nürnberg Hummel becomes the official service partner of Nürnberg Messe and sets up an office branch in Nuremberg. Eröffnung neues Lager in Nürnberg The company opens up a new warehouse in Nuremberg. Die Hummel Möbelverleih GmbH zählt zu den Top 5 der deutschen Möbelvermieter mit 40 Mitarbeitern, 200 verschiedenen Artikeln, m² Lagerfläche, zufriedenen Kunden und vermietbaren Möbelstücken Hummel is now one of the 5 rental furniture companies in Germany with 40 staff members, 200 products, 5.000m 2 of storage place, satisfied costumers and pieces of rental furniture. Hummel moves to the Neue Messe München.

100 AGBs RENTAL CONDITIONS Auslandszahlungen werden grundsätzlich durch spesenfreie Überweisung per Vorkasse erbeten. Auslandsschecks müssen mit einer Inkassogebühr von EUR 15,00 belastet werden. Achtung: Für in Schränken etc. verbleibendes Eigentum des Standinhabers wird keine Haftung übernommen. Das Mietgut wird nur für den vereinbarten Zweck und den vereinbarten Zeitraum zur Verfügung gestellt. Eine Verlängerung der Mietdauer erfordert die schriftliche Zustimmung des Vermieters. Der Vermieter ist berechtigt, eine zusätzliche Miete in Rechnung zu stellen, wenn das Mietgut nicht zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt wieder zur Verfügung steht. Die Mietpreise berechnen sich nach der Mietdauer aufgrund der jeweils gültigen Preisliste und verstehen sich netto. Die gesetzliche Mehrwertsteuer ist hinzuzurechnen. Bei Messegeschäften enthalten die Preise neben dem Mietpreis die Kosten für die Anlieferung und Rückholung des Mietgutes innerhalb des Messegeländes. Ansonsten werden bei Anlieferung und Rückholung des Mietgutes die jeweils gültigen Transportkostensätze neben dem Mietpreis in Rechnung gestellt. Die in Rechnung gestellten Mietpreise sind ohne jeden Abzug zahlbar. Soweit nicht anders vereinbart, werden sie bei Rechnungslegung, spätestens bei Auslieferung des Mietgutes fällig. Direktaufträge unmittelbar vor und während einer Messe sind bei Auftragserteilung zu zahlen. Bei Auslandsschecks wird eine Inkassogebühr von EUR 15,00 erhoben. Spesen bei Auslandsüberweisungen gehen zu Lasten des Mieters. Befindet sich der Mieter in Zahlungsverzug, können Verzugszinsen in Höhe von 5% über dem jeweiligen Diskontsatz der Deutschen Bundesbank geltend gemacht werden. Für Rechnungsumschreibungen durch falsche oder fehlerhafte Angaben des Antragstellers können Bearbeitungsgebühren in Höhe von EUR 50,00 zzgl. MwSt. erhoben werden. Diese Gebühr wird mit der neu auszustellenden Rechnungen verrechnet. Für Schäden am Mietgut und Verluste kann der Mieter in Höhe des Wiederbeschaffungswertes in Anspruch genommen werden, bzw. in Höhe des Reparaturaufwandes, sofern dieser den Wiederbeschaffungswert nicht übersteigt. Die Haftung beginnt mit der Übernahme des Mietgutes durch den Mieter und endet mit der Rücknahme durch den Vermieter. Bei Messeaufträgen beginnt die Haftung mit der Anlieferung zum Messestand und endet mit der Rückholung von dort. Dieses gilt auch, wenn der Messestand nicht besetzt ist. Die Haftung endet spätestens 24 Stunden nach Veranstaltungsschluss, es sei denn, das Mietgut wurde nicht abholbereit zur Verfügung gestellt oder es wurde ein anderer Rückholtermin vereinbart. Eine Haftung des Vermieters für Sach und Personenschäden im Zusammenhang mit dem Gebrauch des Mietgutes ist ausgeschlossen, es sei denn, dass dem Vermieter Vorsatz oder grobe Fahrlässigkeit zur Last fällt. Das Mietgut ist nicht versichert. Eine Versicherung des Mietgutes für die Laufzeit einer Veranstaltung einschließlich Auf und Abbauzeit wird empfohlen. Bitte beachten: Das Mietgut ist durch den Servicepartner zu versichern. Der Versicherungsbeitrag beträgt 3% des Mietpreises, dieser wird dem Mieter zusätzlich berechnet. Die Auslieferung aller Aufträge ohne Terminangabe erfolgt so rechtzeitig, dass das Mietgut zu Veranstaltungsbeginn zur Verfügung steht. Nach Veranstaltungsschluss wird das Mietgut schnellstmöglich zurückgeholt. Der Mieter hat das Mietgut abholbereit zur Verfügung zu stellen. Wird die Anlieferung oder Rückholung des Mietgutes durch schuldhaftes Verhalten des Mieters verhindert, ist der Vermieter berechtigt, den zusätzlich entstehenden Aufwand in Rechnung zu stellen. Selbstabholer werden darauf hingewiesen, dass das Mietgut nur in dafür geeigneten, geschlossenen Fahrzeugen transportiert werden darf. Im Falle des Zahlungsverzuges behält sich der Vermieter vor, die Auslieferung des Mietgutes zu verweigern, bzw. bereits ausgeliefertes Mietgut vorzeitig zurückzuholen. Vorbestelltes und reserviertes Mietgut, das nicht abgenommen wird, muss dem Besteller voll in Rechnung gestellt werden. Ist eine anderweitige Vermietung möglich, so trägt der Auftraggeber die entstandenen Kosten für den An und Abtransport sowie den möglichen Mietausfall. Der Vermieter behält sich im Falle höherer Gewalt vor, dem Mieter anstelle der bestellten Mietstücke gleichwertige oder bessere Ersatzstücke zu liefern. Forderungen können aus derartigen Ersatzleistungen nicht geltend gemacht werden. Reklamationen seitens des Mieters müssen innerhalb von 24 Stunden nach Anlieferung erfolgen. Spätere Reklamationen werden nicht anerkannt. Erfüllungsort und Gerichtsstand für den Mieter und Vermieter ist der Firmensitz des Vermieters. Maßgeblich ist die Rechtsform der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, auch für Geschäfte mit ausländischen Kunden.

101 Payments from abroad are to be remitted in advance with all charges paid. A collection charge of EUR should be added to foreign cheques. Please note: No liability will be accepted for property belonging to the exhibitor which is left in cupboards, etc. The rental object is only made available for the agreed purpose and for the agreed period. An extension of the rental period shall require the written consent of the rental company. The rental company is entitled to invoice an additional rental charge if the rental object is not returned by the agreed time. The rental prices are calculated according to the duration of rental on the basis of the currently valid price list. The statutory VAT is to be added. For objects rented for a trade fair or exhibition, the rental prices shall also include the costs for delivery and collection of the rental object within the exhibition grounds. In all or other cases, the valid transport cost rates for delivery and collection of the rental object will be invoiced in addition to the rental price. Invoiced rental prices are payable in full without deduction. If no agreement is made to the contrary, they are due on presentation of the invoice, at latest, however, on delivery of the rental object. Direct orders placed immediately before and during a trade fair are to be paid on award of the order. A collection charge of EUR will be made for foreign cheques. Charges for payments remitted abroad shall be borne by the hirer. If the hirer is in default of payment, interest on arrears amounting to 5% over and above the current discount rate of the Deutsche Bundesbank shall be charged. Should an invoice need to be reissued due to false or incorrect data supplied by the exhibitor, the rental company is entitled to charge an administrative fee of EUR plus VAT. This charge will be set against the new invoice to be issued. For loss or damage of the rental object, compensation amounting to the cost of replacement may be claimed from the hirer or the cost of repair if this does not exceed the replacement value. Liability shall commence with the takeover of the rental object by the hirer and end with its collection by the rental company. In the case of objects rented for a trade fair, liability shall commence with delivery to the exhibition stand and end when it is collected from there. This shall also apply if the exhibition stand is not occupied. Liability shall end 24 hours after the end of the trade fair at the latest unless the rental object was not made available for collection or another collection date has been agreed. The rental company shall not be liable for damage to property or injury to persons in connection with the use of the rental object unless it is due to wilful action or gross negligence on the part of the rental company. The rental object is not insured. Insurance of the rental object for the period of a trade fair, including the stand construction and dismantling period, is recommended Pleasenote: The rental object is to be insured by the service partner. The insurance premium amounts to 3% of the rent paid and will be charged additionally to the hirer. All orders with no specified date will be delivered in good time so that the rental object is available at the start of the fair. After the end of the fair the rental object will be collected as quickly as possible. The hirer must make the rental object available for collection. If delivery or collection of the rental object is prevented by fault of the hirer, the rental company shall be entitled to charge for any additional expenditure incurred. Hirers collecting rental objects themselves are hereby notified that the objects may only be transported in suitable closed vehicles. In the event of default of payment the rental company reserves the right to refuse delivery of the rental object or to fetch back delivered objects at an earlier date. Rental objects ordered in advance and reserved but not taken delivery of will be charged to the customer in full. If it is possible to rent them elsewhere, the customer shall bear the costs incurred for delivery and collection and for any loss of rental fees. In cases of unforeseeable damage, the rental company reserves the right to supply equivalent or better replacement objects in place of the ordered rental objects. No claims can be asserted as a result of such replacements. Any complaints the hirer may have must be made within 24 hours after the items concerned have been delivered. Any complaints made thereafter will not be accepted. Place of performance and jurisdiction for the hirer and rental company shall be the registered office of the rental company. The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply even for transactions with foreign customers.
