3 DECT6501 Diese Zusatzbedienungsanleitung beschreibt die Inbetriebnahme weiterer Mobilteile am AUDIOLINE DECT6500 oder einem anderen DECT/GAP Schnurlostelefonsystem. Allerdings stehen nur in Verbindung mit dem AUDIOLINE DECT6500 alle Funktionen zur Verfügung, die dieses Mobilteil unterstützt. Hinweis: Für die komplette Bedienungsanleitung inkl. 4 STANDARD-AKKUS EINBAUEN Um die mitgelieferten wiederaufladbaren Standard-Akkus in das Mobilteil einzulegen, drücken Sie auf den Batteriefachdeckel am oberen Rand und schieben Sie diesen nach unten. Legen Sie nun die Batterien ein und achten Sie auf die richtige Polung. Schließen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel. LADESTATION ANSCHLIESSEN Stellen Sie die Ladestation für das zweite Mobilteil in der Nähe einer Netzsteckdose auf. Stecken Sie das Steckernetzteil in eine vorschriftsmässig installierte Netzsteckdose mit 230V. Wichtiger Hinweis! Stellen Sie das Mobilteil mit dem Display nach vorne für mindestens 16 Stunden auf die Ladestation. Bei nicht richtig geladenen Batterien kann es zu Fehlfunktionen des Telefons kommen. An der Ladestation leuchtet die Ladekontrollleuchte. 4

5 MOBILTEIL AN BASISSTATION DECT6500 ANMELDEN 1. Ist das Mobilteil noch an keine Basisstation angemeldet, drücken Sie die Displaytaste ANMELD. Ansonsten drücken Sie die Displaytaste MENÜ. Wählen Sie dann den Menüpunkt SYSTEM und bestätigen Sie mit OK. 2. Drücken Sie einmal die Displaytaste OK. 3. Halten Sie die Pagetaste der Basisstation gedrückt, bis Sie mehrere Signaltöne hören. Melden Sie das neue Mobilteil nun innerhalb von 60 Sekunden an die Basisstation an. 4. Geben Sie nun den PIN-Code der Basisstation (Werkseinstellung ) ein und bestätigen Sie mit OK. Die Basisstation wird nun gesucht. 5. Sobald die Basisstation gefunden wurde, erscheint kurzzeitig im Display mit welcher internen Rufnummer das Mobilteil registriert wurde. Das Mobilteil ist angemeldet und kann für externe und interne Gespräche benutzt werden. Dem Mobilteil wurde automatisch eine interne Rufnummer vergeben. Das bereits angemeldete Hauptmobilteil hat die interne Nummer 1. Alle weiteren angemeldeten Mobilteile werden in der Reihenfolge Ihrer Anmeldung nummeriert (interne Rufnummer 2 bis 4). Diese interne Rufnummer wird im Display rechts neben dem Namen angezeigt. 5

Basistation vorbereiten Folgen Sie der Bedienungsanleitung der Basisstation unter "Anmelden weiterer Mobilteile" an der Sie Ihr neues Mobilteil anmelden wollen. 2. Mobilteil DECT6501 anmelden Verfahren Sie wie vor beschrieben ab Punkt 2., aber verwenden Sie (an Stelle ) den PIN Code der Basisstation an der Sie sich anmelden wollen. 6

7 DECT6501 These supplemental operating instructions describe how install additional handsets with the AUDIOLINE DECT6500 and other DECT/GAP cordless telephone systems. However, all functions supported by this handset are available only in conjunction with the AUDIOLINE DECT6500. SCOPE OF SUPPLY The following parts are enclosed in the package: DECT6500 Handset with belt clip Charger with Power supply Operating instructions Two standard 1.2-volt 750mAh AAA rechargeable batteries 7

8 FITTING STANDARD BATTERIES To fit the standard rechargeable batteries supplied into the handset, press on the upper edge of the battery compartment and slide it downwards. Now insert the batteries taking care to ensure that the polarity is correct. Close the battery compartment cover. CONNECTING THE CHARGER Set up the charger for the second handset within reach of an electrical outlet. Plug the transformer plug in a correctly installed 230 volt electrical outlet. Important note! Place the handset in the base station with the display to the front for at least 16 hours. The telephone may malfunction if the batteries are not properly charged. The charging light on the base station will come on. 8

9 LOGGING ON A HANDSET TO THE DECT6500 BASE STATION 1. If the mobile unit has not yet been logged on to a base station, press the REG. display button. Otherwise, press the MENU display button. Then select SYSTEM from the menu and confirm with OK. 2. Press the OK display button once. 3. Press and hold the page button on the base station until you hear several signal tones. Now log on the new mobile unit to the base station within 60 seconds. 4. Now enter the PIN code of the base station (factory setting ) and confirm with OK. A search will now be carried out for the base station. 5. As soon as the base station has been found, the internal number that has been allocated to the mobile unit will appear briefly in the display. The mobile unit is logged on and can be used for external and internal calls. An internal number will be automatically assigned to the mobile unit. The main mobile unit already logged on has the internal number 1. All further mobile units that are logged on will be numbered in the sequence in which they were logged on (internal phone numbers 2 to 4). This internal telephone number will be indicated on the right of the display next to the name. 9

10 LOGGING ON A HANDSET TO ANOTHER DECT/GAP BASE STATION SYSTEM OR A THIRD PARTY BASE STATION 1. Prepare other base station Follow the operating instructions indicated under 'Logging on additional handsets' of the base station you would like to log on to. 2. Logging on the DECT6501 handset Proceed as described above from point 2., but use the PIN code of the base station you would like to log on to (instead of ). 10
