18 Zentrum 4: Interdisziplinäres Zentrum für Fachdidaktik und spezifische pädagogische Berufsfelder Aufgabe dieses Zentrums ist die Positionierung der wissenschaftlichinnovativen Fachdidaktik in der Aus-, Fort- und Weiterbildung von Lehrerinnen und Lehrern aller Schularten in Kooperation mit anderen Bildungsinstitutionen. Diese Stabsstelle ist als zentrale Koordinations- und Kontaktstelle zuständig für die Aufrechterhaltung bestehender und den Aufbau neuer Netzwerke innerhalb der Hochschule sowie zu nationalen und internationalen Partnerinstitutionen für die fachdidaktischen Bereiche Naturwissenschaft und Technik, Sprachen und Kulturen, Soziales und Gesundheit, Wirtschaft, Recht und Politische Bildung sowie Kunst und Kreativität. 18

22 In the first year at Hauptschule the ELP is introduced between half term and Easter Peer teaching: older ones younger ones First step : familiarising with attainment targets, checklists and task sheets Usually pupils get to know parts of ELP and where to find the different elements (90 minutes workshop) Parents evening: little interest in detailed information 22

23 First steps in self-evaluation confirmed or corrected by the native speaker Step by step pupils get used to the ELP over a period of a few weeks They are encouraged to add some of their best texts to the portfolio part and to write about their experience with foreign languages In the second year more time is spent on self-assessment boys hate that and see it as a waste of time 23

25 25 Brief reflection of the learning process = part of task sheet Attainment targets are also used in other subjects This helps the pupils to get familiar with the analysis of their learning process The annual day of languages helps to make all pupils aware of the intercultural dimension of language learning. Taster lessons of Italian and Russian are considered of high value
