2 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung er Näherungsschalter erfaßt berührungslos Metalle, nahezu alle Kunststoffe, Glas, Keramik, Holz, Papier, Öle, Fette, Wasser und alle wasserhaltigen Materialien und meldet sie durch ein Schaltsignal. Nennschaltabstand (S n ): siehe atenblatt; (Messung auf geerdete Metallplatte und Wasser; bei anderen Materialien kürzer). Montage Bauen Sie das Gerät mit Hilfe einer Montagehalterung ein. Sichern Sie es mit den mitgelieferten Muttern gegen Loslösen. Einbau nichtbündig. Freiräume an der aktiven Fläche: 3x 3x Mindestabstände bei Montage mehrerer Schalter gleichen Typs: 3x S n 3x 2

3 Elektrischer Anschluss as Gerät darf nur von einer Elektrofachkraft installiert werden. Befolgen Sie die nationalen und internationalen Vorschriften zur Errichtung elektrotechnischer Anlagen. Schalten Sie die Anlage spannungsfrei und schließen Sie das Gerät je nach Ausführung (Kabel- oder Steckeranschluss) nach den Angaben auf dem Typenschild an. Adernfarben: BN = braun, BU = blau, BK = schwarz, WH = weiß Justierung Einstellpotentiometer Schaltabstand LE 1. Schließer Öffner Bringen Sie das zu erfassende Material in den sicheren Schaltbereich LE leuchtet auf. LE verlischt Verringern Sie den Schaltabstand, bis die LE verlischt. Erhöhen Sie den Schaltabstand, bis die LE aufleuchtet. Verringern Sie den Schaltabstand, bis die LE aufleuchtet. Erhöhen Sie den Schaltabstand, bis die LE verlischt. Erhöhen Sie den Schaltabstand nicht über S n hinaus! Betrieb Prüfen Sie, ob der Schalter sicher funktioniert: ie LE leuchtet bei durchgeschaltetem Ausgang. er Betrieb des Näherungsschalters ist wartungsfrei. Für einwandfreies Funktionieren ist zu beachten: ie aktive Fläche und der Freiraum sollten von Ablagerungen und Fremdkörpern freigehalten werden; insbesondere bei Montage mit aktiver Fläche nach oben. Geräte mit hoher Nahfeldstärke (z. B. Sprechfunkgeräte) nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe des Näherungsschalters betreiben. 3

4 Function and features This proximity switch detects metals, almost all plastics, glass, ceramics, wood, paper, oils, greases, water and all hydrous materials without contact and indicates their presence by providing a switched signal. Nominal sensing range (S n ): see data sheet (measured on on an earthed metal plate and water; a shorter sensing range for other materials). Installation Mounting by means of a mounting device. Secure by means of the nuts provided so that it cannot work loose. Non-flush installation. Open space around the sensing face: 3x 3x Minimum distance when several switches of the same type are mounted: 3x S n 3x 4

5 Electrical connection The unit must only be connected by a skilled electrician. The national and international regulations for the installation of electrical equipment must be adhered to. isconnect the installation from power and connect the unit according to the indications on the type label depending on the version (cable or connector). Core colours: BN = brown, BU = blue, BK = black, WH = white Adjustment setting potentiometer sensing range LE 1. NO NC Place the target material in the safe sensing range. LE is lit. LE goes off ecrease the sensing range until LE goes off. Increase the sensing range until LE is lit. ecrease the sensing range until LE is lit. Increase the sensing range until LE goes off. Sensing distance should not be increased beyond S n. Operation Check the safe functioning of the switch. The LE is lit when the output is switched. The operation of the proximity switch is maintenancefree. For perfect functioning make sure that: the sensing face and the open space are kept free of deposits and foreign bodies, particularly for installation with the sensing face facing upwards; units with high field intensity (e.g. walkie-talkies) are not used at close range to the proximity switch. 5

6 Fonctionnement et caractéristiques Ce détecteur de proximité détecte les métaux, presque tous les plastiques, le verre, la céramique, le bois, le papier, les huiles, les graisses, l eau et tous les matériaux aqueux sans contact et indique leur présence par un signal de commutation. Portée nominale (S n ): voir la fiche technique (mesurée sur une plaque mise à la terre ou sur l eau; en cas d autres matériaux portée inférieure à 8 mm). Montage Montage à l aide d une flasque de fixation. Utiliser les écrous fournis avec le KG pour une fixa-tion optimale. Montage non encastré. Zone de dégagement autour de la face active: 3x 3x istances minimales lorsque plusieurs détecteurs de la même version sont montés: 3x S n 3x 6

7 Raccordement électrique L'appareil doit être raccordé par un électricien qualifié. Les règlements nationaux et internationaux relatifs à l'installation de matériel électrique doivent être respectés. Mettez l'installation hors tension et raccordez l'appareil selon les indications de l'étiquette en fonction de la version (câble ou connecteur). Réglage Couleurs des fils: BN = brun, BU = bleu, BK = noir, WH = blanc potentiomètre de réglage portée LE 1. NO NF Introduire le matériau à détecter dans la zone de détection sûre. La LE est allumée. La LE s éteigne Réduire la portée jusqu à ce que la LE s éteigne. Augmenter la portée jusqu à ce que la LE est allumée. Réduire la portée jusqu à ce que la LE est allumée. Augmenter la portée jusqu à ce que la LE s éteigne. Ne pas augmenter la portée au-dessus de S n. Fonctionnement Vérifier le bon fonctionnement du détecteur. La LE est allumée lorsque la sortie est commutée. Pour un bon fonctionnement il faut respecter les indications suivantes: La face active et la zone de dégegement doivent être dégagés de toute présence de dépôts et de corps étrangers, notamment en cas de montage avec la face active vers le haut. Ne pas faire fonctionner des appareils à champ de grande intensité (par exemple talkie-walkies) à proximité immédiate des détecteurs. 7
