2 Flexibilität: Vertragsgegenstand: kurzfristige Übernahme und/oder Bereitstellung von überschüssigen/ fehlenden Gasmengen Führen der übernommenen bzw. bereit gestellten Gasmengen in einem Gaskonto der Vertragsgegenstand ist hinsichtlich Gasmenge pro Stunde begrenzt weitergehende Nutzung kann täglich für den Folgetag auf nicht verfügbar geändert werden Einsatzzweck: dienen dem temporären Leihen oder Speichern von Mengen generell auf unterbrechbarer Basis täglicher Ausgleich auf Null angestrebt 2

6 Commodity: Vertragsgegenstand: Ein- oder Verkauf von Gasmengen zum Ausgleich von Bilanzdifferenzen Laufzeit zwischen einem Tag und zwei Jahren (Restriktionen vorhanden) Requests erfolgen pro Tag mit 24 gleichen Stundenmengen Ein- oder Verkaufsverträge verschiedene Preisstellungen möglich (fix oder Referenzpreis mit Zu-/Abschlag) generell auf unterbrechbarer Basis Änderungen hinsichtlich Preis und Verfügbarkeit je Tag möglich Einsatzzweck: Ein- und Verkauf zur nachhaltigen Deckung von Fehlmengen bzw. Entlastung eines überspeisten Systems Ausgleich eines zum Requestzeitpunkt vorhandenen Saldos eher träges Instrument 6

10 Ausblick für das GWJ 09/10 und danach Verfügbarkeit der angebotenen Commodity ist ausreichend kein zwingender Handlungsbedarf Preisniveau der angebotenen Commodity-Produkte liegt über (bei Kauf ) bzw. unter (bei Verkauf ) Marktniveau Alternative Beschaffung von Commodity über EEX in Q1/2010 geplant Verfügbarkeit der angebotenen Flexibility-Produkte (insbesondere Flex 2) nicht zufriedenstellend Handlungsbedarf Mittelfristig teilweiser oder vollständiger Ersatz der Produkte durch Within-Day-Handel an der EEX denkbar! Voraussetzung ist ausreichende Liquidität!!! 10
