Vor dem Wechsel des Reflektorkopfes und des Leucht mit tels, Leuch te aus s chal ten und ab küh len las sen. Vorsicht! Niemals den heißen Reflektorkopf, nur den Leuchtenarm im mittleren oder unteren Bereich berühren! Reparaturarbeiten dürfen nur von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Her steller du rch ge führt werden. Produktbeschreibung Safety precautions The assembly and installation of electrical components must be carried out only by qualified personnel. Before work is carried out on the electronic ballast and the light, always disconnect them from the mains supply. Maintain the minimum safety distance from flammable materials. Before changing the reflector head and the light source, switch off the light and allow it to cool down. Caution Never touch the reflector head while it is hot. Product description Occhio CDM Leuchten an EVG-Gehäusen haben Schutzklasse 1. Die vol le Be leuch tungs stär ke und die korrek te Farb tem pe ra tur der CDM-Lichtquelle wird nach ca. 2 Minuten erreicht. Die CDM Lichtquelle nach dem Aus - schal ten ca. 10 Mi nu ten aus küh len lassen, bevor Sie das Leuchtmittel wieder star ten. Occhio CDM lights with ballast enclosures conform to protection class 1. Maximum illuminance and the correct colour temperature of the CDM light source are reached after approximately 2 minutes. After switching off the CDM light source, allow it to cool for approximately 10 minutes before you switch it on again. 2

4 Montage Fitting Achtung! Vor der Montage alle stromführenden Leitungen vom Stromnetz trennen! Mit Hilfe der beiliegenden Bohrschablone 3 bzw. 5 Löcher ø 6 mm bohren. Wichtig: Auf den Verlauf der Zuleitung in der Decke achten! Dübel bündig einsetzen. Caution Before fitting, disconnect all current-carrying lines from the mains supply. Using the drilling template provided, drill 3 or 5 holes with a diameter of 6 mm. Important: Avoid the feed line routed in the ceiling. Fit the wall plugs flush. optional optional Die Netzanschlussleitung durch die Öffnung der Grundplatte ziehen. Die Grundplatte wie gezeigt anschrauben (5 Kreuzschlitzschrauben beiliegend). Pull the mains cable through the opening in the base plate. Screw on the base plate as shown (5 cross-headed screws provided). 4

5 Montage Fitting 230 V Netzanschlussleitung nach Schema an Vorschaltgerät anschließen. Polung beachten! Connect the mains cable to the ballast as shown in the diagram. Correct polarity must be observed. Die Kabel des ersten Leuchtenkörpers am Vorschaltgerät nach Schema anschließen. Polung beliebig. Connect the cables of the first light body to the ballast as shown in the diagram. Polarity not important V Das Kabel des zweiten Leuchtenkörpers an der Klemme nach Schema anschließen. 6 Montage Fitting Die beiden Leuchtenkörper auf die oberen und unteren Sockel der Grundplatte schrauben. Die Leuchtenkörper sollten dabei in entgegengesetzte Richtung zeigen. Je 2x Inbus 2,5 mm, Schlüssel liegt bei. Screw both light bodies onto the upper and lower base pieces of the base plate. The light bodies should be pointing in opposite directions. Key provided for 2x2.5 mm hexagon socket screws respectively. Die Gehäuseblende über den Fassungshalter des Leuchtenarms einfädeln. Parallel zur Wand/Decke aufschieben und einrasten, Verkanten vermeiden. Slot the enclosure panel over the socket holder of the light arm. Keeping the panel straight, slide it on parallel with the wall/ ceiling and engage. 6

7 Sicherheit Security $ Stromnetz Die Gehäuseblende kann gegen unbefugtes Entfernen gesichert werden (z. B. in öffentlichen Gebäuden). Gehen Sie wie folgt vor: Achtung! Vor der Montage alle stromführenden Leitungen vom trennen! Gehäuseblende aufgesetzt lassen! Die Inbus-Schrauben lösen und den Leuchtenkörper etwas herausziehen (ggf. ein Tuch unterlegen um Verkratzen der Blende zu vermeiden). The enclosure panel can be secured against unauthorised removal (e.g. in public buildings). Proceed as follows: Caution Before fitting, disconnect all current-carrying lines from the mains supply. Leave the enclosure panel in place. Undo the hexagon socket screws and pull the light body out slightly (if necessary, slip a cloth underneath to prevent the panel from being scratched). Die Madenschrauben an beiden Innenseiten der Sockel festdrehen (2x Inbus 1,5 mm, Schlüssel beiliegend). Die Madenschrauben drücken die Kugeln nach außen. Die Gehäuseblende kann nun nicht mehr abgenommen werden. Tighten the grub screws on the insides of the two base pieces (2 x 1.5 mm hexagon socket screws, key provided). The grub screws force the balls outwards thereby preventing the enclosure panel from being removed. Den Leuchtenköper wieder anschrauben. Die Gehäuseblende kann erst nach erneutem Lösen der Madenschrauben abgenommen werden. Screw the light body back on. The enclosure panel can no longer be removed until the grub screws are loosened. 7

8 Montage Track-Version Track version fitting Die Kabel des ersten Leuchtenkörpers am Vorschaltgerät nach Schema anschließen (Polung beliebig). Connect the cables of the first light body to the ballast as shown in the diagram (polarity not important) V 2 Die Kabel des zweiten Leuchtenkörpers an der Klemme nach Schema anschließen (Polung beliebig). 10 Montage Track-Version Track version fitting Den Drehriegel mit beiliegendem Track-Tool um 90 im Uhrzeigersinn schließen. Hiermit wird der Track-Adapter an den neutralen Leiter angeschlossen. Endposition des Drehriegels: parallel zur Schiene Close the rotary catch using the track-tool by turning it 90 clockwise. This connects the track adapter to the neutral wire. Final position of the rotary catch: parallel to the track Einstellen auf Phase 1 Das Einstellrad um 90 im Uhrzeigersinn drehen. Der Track-Adapter ist nun an Phase 1 angeschlossen. Phase 1 adjustment Turn the adjustment wheel 90 clockwise. The track adapter is now connected to phase Einstellen auf Phase 2 Das Einstellrad um 90 gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen. Der Track-Adapter ist nun an Phase 2 angeschlossen. Phase 2 adjustment Turn the adjustment wheel 90 anti-clockwise. The track adapter is now connected to phase 2. Einstellen auf Phase 3 Phase 3 adjustment Das Einstellrad nach oben ziehen. Dann um 90 gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen. Der Track-Adapter ist nun an Phase 3 angeschlossen. Pull the adjustment wheel upwards. Then turn it 90 anti-clockwise. The track adapter is now connected to phase 3. 10

Die Gängigkeit des Gelenks lässt sich mit tels der seitlichen Zylinderkopfschraube und dem beiliegenden Inbusschlüssel jus ti eren. Check how freely the arm swivels. You can adjust the stiffness of the joint by tightening or loosening the cylinder head screw on the side using the hexagon key provided. B: Die Leuchten Occhio faro singolo CDM sind um die senkrechte Achse von Anschlag zu Anschlag frei drehbar. C: D er Reflektorkopf ist ohne An schlag frei dreh bar. Nur bei der Faro 10 cm- Version ist die Schwenkbarkeit auf 170 beschränkt. 12 Leuchtmittel wechseln/einsetzen Changing/fitting the light source $ Achtung! Vor der Montage alle stromführenden Leitungen vom Stromnetz trennen! Reflektorköpfe abkühlen lassen! CDM-TC Leuchtmittel in die G8.5 Steck fassung einschieben. Auf die richtige Leistung des Leuchtmittels (35/70W) entsprechend des Vorschaltgeräts achten. Die Glas kol ben der Leu ch t- mit tel nur mit einem wei che n Tu ch, nicht mit der blo ßen Hand an fas sen. Fin ger ab drüc ke auf den Leucht mit teln vor dem Einschal ten der Leuchte mit ei nem wei chen Tuch ab wi schen. Caution Before fitting, disconnect all current-carrying lines from the mains supply. Allow reflector heads to cool. Insert the CDM-TC light source into the G8.5 socket. Ensure the correct bulb rating (35/70 W) for the ballast. Always use a soft cloth when handling the bulb glass. Never touch it with bare hands. Before you switch on the light, use a soft cloth to wipe off any fingerprints that may have marked the bulbs. Reflektorkopf wechseln/einsetzen Falls notwendig, Madenschraube zum Abnehmen etwas lösen. Changing/fitting the reflector head To permit removal, it may be necessary to loosen the grub screw slightly. Reflektorkopf durch gleichzeitiges Drücken am unteren Ansatz des Karbonstifts und leichtes Drehen/Wippen vom Reflektorkopf lösen. Free the reflector head by simultaneously pressing on the lower part of the carbon pin with one hand and gently turning/rocking the reflector head with the other hand. Reflektorkopf vorsichtig abziehen. Dabei auf das innenliegende Leuchtmittel achten. Nicht ruckartig und nicht zu kräftig ziehen. Pull the reflector head off carefully, paying attention to the light source on the inside. Do not jerk or pull too hard. 12

13 Reflektorkopf verstellen Adjusting the reflector head Der Reflektorko pf ist ohne Anschlag frei dreh bar. Reflektorkopf aus schließlich am Karbonstift dre hen, am Re flek tor und Glas besteht Verbrennungsgefahr. The reflector head is free to turn and not limited by stops. Turn the reflector head only by the carbon pin. There is a risk of burns if you touch the reflector or glass

14 Pflegehinweise Care instructions Zur Reinigung der Metall- und Glasteile der Leuchte empfehlen wir die Verwendung von Glasreiniger. Leuch te nur in abgekühltem Zu stand reinigen! To clean glass and also the metal parts of the light, we recommend the use of a glass cleaner. Always allow the light to cool before cleaning. 14
