Attach antenna(s) Use both TV-tuners with one antenna (Dual tuner) Use the included Y-cable antenna adapter to connect the delivered rod antenna or your rooftop antenna to both antenna inputs of the PCTV Diversity Stick Solo (see image I). This way you receive two diffrent TV-channels even though you have connected only one antenna to your PCTV Diversity Stick Solo. Enjoy TV anywhere - better reception using two antennas Connect each of the two antennas to an antenna input of the PCTV Diversity Stick Solo and make sure to place them at a distance of at least 1 to 2 feet from each other (see image II). Note: to use the Antenna Diversity feature you need an additional antenna for example a rod antenna with MCX-connector (not included in the scope of delivery). Note: If you use the rod antenna included in the package, place it as high as possible and as close as possible to the window. Reception is dependent on location and can be affected by thick or steel-reinforced walls as well as neighboring buildings. In such environments, a rooftop antenna is recommanded. In order to prevent possible damage from the magnetic field of the antenna base, make sure that there is enough space between it and your hard drives and other magnetically sensitive components. II. Connect to PC (see image II) Plug the PCTV Diversity Stick Solo into one of your PC USB 2.0 ports. III. Install the software If the Add new hardware dialog window appears during installation, press Cancel. Download the latest TVCenter version from our homepage at: Use the file explorer on your PC to navigate to the downloaded file. Double click on the downloaded file and follow the installation instructions displayed on the screen. Make sure to insert the serial number printed on the included "Download inforamtion and serial number" document when prompted to do so. IV. Additional information Antenna Diversity: if two antennas are connected to the PCTV Diversity Stick Solo and you watch the programme of one TV-channel, the logic integrated into the PCTV Diversity Stick Solo combines the signals of the two antennas into one signal. This could produce significantly better reception even though you are located in an area with weak reception. Dual tuner usage: within TVCenter you will notice that in the Master Control menu two diffrent Watch TV icons are available (see image III). Installation und Verwendung I. Antenne(n) anschließen Eine Antenne an beiden Tuner anschließen (Dual Tuner) Schließen Sie die mitgelieferte Stabantenne oder Ihre Hausantenne an beiden Antenneneingänge des PCTV Diversity Stick Solo an. Benutzen Sie hierfür das mitgelieferte Y-Antennenadapterkabel (siehe Abbildung I). Sie haben die Möglichkeit gleichzeitig das Programm zweier TV-Sender zu empfangen obwohl nur eine Antenne angeschlossen ist. Verbesserter DVB-T Empfang mit zwei Antennen Schließen Sie die einzelnen Antennen jeweils an einen Antenneneingang des PCTV Diversity Stick Solo an. Platzieren Sie die angeschlossenen Antennen ca cm voneinander entfernt (siehe Abbilding II). Hinweis: um die Antenna Diversity Funktion zu nutzen benötigen Sie ein zusätzliche Antenne, z.b. eine Stabantenne mit MCX-Stecker (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten). Hinweis: Wenn Sie die mitgelieferten Stabantenne verwenden, positionieren Sie diese möglichst hoch und möglichst nah am Fenster. Der Empfang hängt vom Standort ab und kann durch dicke oder stahlverstärkte Wände sowie Nachbargebäude beeinträchtigt sein. In solchen Umgebungen ist eine Dachantenne erforderlich. Um mögliche Schäden durch das magnetische Feld des Antennenfußes zu vermeiden, achten Sie bitte auf ausreichenden Abstand zu Festplatten und sonstigen magnetisch empfindlichen Komponenten. II. Computer anschließen (siehe Abbildung II) Schließen Sie den PCTV Diversity Stick Solo an einen USB 2.0-Port Ihres PCs an. III. Software installieren Sollte während der Installation das Dialogfenster Neue Hardware hinzufügen erscheinen, brechen Sie dieses ab. Besuchen Sie unsere Webseite und laden die aktuellste TVCenter-Version herunter. Öffnen Sie einen Datei-Explorer und naviegieren Sie zu der heruntergelandenen Datei. Klicken Sie dopplet auf die heruntergeladene Datei und folgen sie den Installationsanweisungen am Bildschirm. Die Seriennummer entnehmen Sie dem beigelegtem Dokument "TVCenter Downloadinformationen und Seriennummer". IV. Zusätzliche Informationen Antenna Diversity Funktion: Sie haben zwei Antennen an den PCTV Diversity Stick Solo angeschlossen aber Sie verfolgen nur das Programm eines TV-Senders. In diesem Fall kombiniert die im Gerät integrierte Logik die Signale der zwei Antennen zu einem Signal. Das könnte dazu führen, dass sich der DVB-T Empfang auch bei schwierigeren Empfangsverhältnissen verbessert. Dual Tuner Betrieb: ist gekennzeichnet durch die zwei TV zeigen Schaltflächen im Master Control Menü der TVCenter Software (siehe Abbildung III).
