5 Manual basics Please read the entire assembly instructions carefully, and pay particular attention to the safety instructions. All necessary work must be performed by qualified persons with an appropriate level of expertise. In this guide, the following symbols are used to highlight important information:! Warning! A warning makes you aware of possible dangers.! This symbol indicates possible danger for the product or other equipment required for assembly. i This tip gives you advice or further information. This symbol shows you the required tools. This symbol shows you the required fastening materials. 3

6 Sicherheitshinweise I Safety instructions! Führen Sie die Montage mit mindestens zwei Monteuren durch, um gesundheitliche Schäden bzw. Beschädigungen an den Bauteilen zu vermeiden. Assembly should be carried out by at least two people to avoid injury or damage to parts.! Heben oder transportieren Sie schwere bzw. sperrige Gegenstände mit mehreren Personen bzw. geeigneten Hilfsmitteln. When lifting or moving heavy or bulky items, seek assistance from other people or use suitable implements.! Schützen Sie die Bauteile vor Verschmutzung und Beschädigung. Legen Sie den Montagebereich mit einer sauberen Unterlage aus. Protect parts from dirt and damage. Lay clean material over the surface of the work area. 4

7 Vorbereitung I Preparation Überprüfen Sie, ob alle notwendigen Teile und Werkzeuge vorhanden sind. Vergleichen Sie dazu den Lieferumfang mit der Bestell- bzw. Auftragsliste. Eine Auflistung der mitgelieferten Befestigungsmaterialien und Werkzeuge finden Sie auf der Klappseite. Sollten Teile oder Werkzeuge fehlen, kontaktieren Sie uns umgehend. Achten Sie nach Entnahme der Teile aus der Originalverpackung auf eine sachgemäße Handhabung und Lagerung. Check that you have all the necessary parts and tools. 10 Montage I Assembly 1 Montage von Sofa und Récamiere Assembling sofa und récamière Platzieren Sie das Untergestell (1) an der vorgesehenen Position. Bring the base frame (1) into the intended position. Setzen Sie die Rückenlehne (2) auf die vormontierten Rechteckrohre des Untergestells (1). Position the backrest (2) on the rectangular tubes of the base frame (1). Drücken Sie die Sitzpolster an den Montagepunkten soweit herunter, bis die vormontierten Schrauben (BS1) gut zugänglich sind. Ziehen Sie danach die Schrauben (BS1) fest an. Press the seat cushion down at the assembly points until the pre-fitted screws (BS1) are easily accessible. Then, tighten the screws (BS1). 12 Montage I Assembly 2 Montage der Ablageboards Assembling boards i Die Ablageboards werden auf die auskragenden Untergestelle montiert. The boards are mounted onto the projecting supporting frame. 2.1 Montage des Ablageboards aus Glas Assembling glass board 1. i Legen Sie das Ablageboard aus Glas (5) auf die vormontierten Elastikpuffer (9) des auskragenden Untergestells. Place the glass board (5) onto the preassembled flexible buffer (9) of the projecting supporting frame. Achten Sie dabei darauf, dass das Ablageboard aus Glas und das auskragende Untergestell an den Außenkanten bündig abschließen. Make sure that the glass board and the projecting supporting frame are flush-fitted to the outer edges. 8

14 Montage I Assembly 2.2 Montage des Ablageboards aus Leder Assembling leather board i Das Ablageboard aus Leder wird mit je fünf Rändelschrauben (BS3) und Unterlegscheiben (BS4) mit dem auskragenden Untergestell verspannt. The leather board is fitted using five knurled-head screws (BS3) and washers (BS4) to the projecting supporting frame. 1. Legen Sie das Ablageboard aus Leder (5) auf das auskragende Untergestell. Place the leather board (5) onto the projecting supporting frame. 2. Drehen Sie die fünf Rändelschrauben (BS3) mit Unterlegscheiben (BS2) von unten in das Ablageboard (5) ein und ziehen Sie die Rändelschrauben (BS3) handfest an. Screw the five knurled-head screws (BS3) with washers (BS2) from below into the board (5) and tighten the knurled-head screws (BS3) so that they are hand-tight (without using tools). 16 Montage I Assembly 3 Beistelltische und Kissen Side tables and cushions Stellen Sie die Beistelltische (6) auf dem Ablageboard an die gewünschte Position. Place the side tables (6) onto the board at the required position. i Die Beistelltische (6) sind mit Filzgleitern versehen und können so beliebig auf dem Ablageboard verschoben werden. The sides tables (6) are fitted with felt glides for ease of movement along the board. Legen Sie zum Schluss die Comfortkissen (3) und Comfortrollen (4) auf das Sofa. To finish off, place the comfort cushions (3) and comfort rolls (4) onto the sofa
