2 Allgemeine Hinweise! AC Schnitzer Frontgrill M3 + M Coupé (E82) Wichtige Hinweise! Diese Montageanleitung ist unbedingt vor Beginn der Einbauarbeiten zu lesen. AC Schnitzer übernimmt keinerlei Haftung für Schäden, die durch unsachgemäßen Einbau entstehen! Diese Montageanleitung ist zum Gebrauch durch autorisierte AC Schnitzer Händler bestimmt. Zielgruppe dieser Montageanleitung ist in jedem Falle an BMW Fahrzeugen ausgebildetes Fachpersonal mit entsprechenden Fachkenntnissen. Alle Abbildungen zeigen LHD Fahrzeuge, bei RHD Fahrzeugen ist sinngemäß oder nach gesonderten Montagehinweisen vorzugehen. Montage Alle Arbeiten sind unter Berücksichtigung der geltenden Sicherheitsvorschriften durchzuführen ( z.b. Schutzbrille ). Trocknungszeit des Klebers ca. 24 Stunden. Waschanlagenfest nach ca. 48 Stunden. Einbauzeit ( AW = 5 Minuten ) Die Einbauzeit mit Kunststoffkabelbinder beträgt ca. 6 AW. Die Einbauzeit mit Edelstahlkabelbinder beträgt ca. 3 AW. (inkl. Frontschürze Aus.- und Einbau) Die Einbauzeit kann je nach Zustand und Ausstattung des Fahrzeugs abweichen. 5 Montageanleitung AC Schnitzer Frontgrill M3 + M Coupé (E82) 2. Montage AC Schnitzer Frontgrill Hinweis! AC Schnitzer Frontgrill mit den mitgelieferten Kabelbinder montieren. Auf Festsitz des Frontgrill ist zu achten! Bei Montage der Edelstahl Kabelbinder ist die Frontschürze zu demontieren, damit der Verschluß der Edelstahlkabelbinder hinter dem unteren Ziergitter, außerhalb des Sichtbereichs liegt. Abb. Schrauben () an Frontschürze lösen. 2 Abb. 2 Schrauben () und Kunststoffmuttern (2) an Abdeckung Radhaus lösen. Abb. 3 Abdeckung Radhaus zur Seite drücken. Schrauben () lösen. 6 Montageanleitung AC Schnitzer Frontgrill M3 + M Coupé (E82) 2. Montage... ( Fortsetzung ) Abb. 5 Frontschürze () seitlich abziehen. Frontschürze etwas vorziehen und ggf. Steckverbindung PDC trennen. Anschließend Frontschürze mit Hilfsperson gerade nach vorn abnehmen. Hinweis! Um Kratzer und anderweitige Schäden zu vermeiden, Frontschürze auf eine saubere Unterlage ablegen und Lufteinlassöffnung mit Klebeband o.ä. abkleben. Abb. 6 Frontgrill () vorsichtig in die Lufteinlaßöffnung der Frontschürze einsetzen und mittig ausrichten. Position des Frontgrills beibehalten! (z.b. mit Klebeband fixieren) Abb. 7 AC Schnitzer Frontgrill von hinten an den 4 Befestigungslaschen mit den mitgelieferten Edelstahl Kabelbinder () am serienmäßigen Ziergitter (2) befestigen. Es ist darauf zu achten, daß der Verschluß hinter dem Ziergitter liegt! Kunststoff Kabelbinder können von vorne befestigt werden. Bei beiden Varianten, ist überstehendes Material der Kabelbinder abzutrennen. 2 Frontschürze in umgekehrter Reihenfolge anbauen. Abb. 8 Mitgelieferten Vitro Aufkleber () auf die dafür vorgesehene Lasche kleben. Irrtum und Änderung vorbehalten! 8 General Notes! AC Schnitzer Front Grille M3 + M Coupé (E82) Important Notes! Read these Fitting Instructions carefully before starting installation work. AC Schnitzer bears no liability for damage caused by incorrect installation! These Fitting Instructions are intended for use by an authorised AC Schnitzer dealer. These Fitting Instructions are directed in each case to specialists trained in BMW vehicles, with corresponding professional knowledge. All figures show LHD vehicles; for RHD vehicles proceed accordingly or following separate installation instructions. Fitting All work should be carried out in accordance with relevant safety regulations (e.g. protective goggles). The adhesive drying time is around 24 hours. The vehicle can be washed in a car wash after 48 hours. Fitting Time ( unit = 5 minutes ) The fitting time with plastic cable ties is around 6 units. The fitting time with stainless steel cable ties is around 3 units, (inc. front skirt remove and install) The which may vary depending on vehicle condition equipment level. 11 Fitting Instructions AC Schnitzer Front Grille M3 + M Coupé (E82) 2. Fitting the AC Schnitzer Front Grille Note! AC Schnitzer front grille with the supplied cable ties mount. For tightness of Frongrill is important! With mounting the stainless steel cable ties is the front skirt to be dismantled, so that the closure of the stainless steel cable ties positioned behind the standard front grille. Fig. Remove bolts () on bumper trim. 2 Fig. 2 Remove bolts () and plastic nuts (2) at wheelarch cover. Fig. 3 Push wheelarch cover aside. Remove bolts (). Fig. 4 Remove bolts () on lower front skirt. Pull front skirt () forward slightly and separate PDC connector where fitted. Then remove the front skirt straight ahead with the help of a second person. Note! To avoid scratches and other damage, place front skirt on a clean surface. Mask off air intake opening on the front skirt with masking tape or similar. Fig. 6 Carefully insert front grille () into the air intake opening in the front skirt and align centrally. Retain position of front grille! (e.g. fix with masking tape) Fig. 7 From behind, attach AC Schnitzer front grille to the standard front grille (2) at the 4 fixing tabs using the stainless steel cable ties () supplied. Ensure that the closures of the stainless steel cable ties are positioned on the inside after fastening! Plastic cable ties can be mounted from the front. All variations cut off surplus material from the cable ties. 2 Refit front skirt in reverse order. Fig. 8 Affix sticker supplied () onto the tab provided. Subject to errors and modifications!
