(German Edition) Janine Börstler Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2011 im Fachbereich Englisch - Pädagogik, Didaktik, Sprachwissenschaft, Note: 1.7, Universität Potsdam (Fremdsprachendidaktik), Veranstaltung: Lernberatung im Englischunterricht, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Insbesondere durch die Entwicklung des Europäischen Portfolios für Sprachen hat der Portfoliogedanke in den letzten Jahren immer mehr Einzug in den Fremdsprachenunterricht gehalten. Das Fremdsprachenportfolio soll dabei ein Weg sein, um den Lerner zu Selbstständigkeit, eigenverantwortlichem Lernen und einer realistischen Selbsteinschätzung zu befähigen (vgl. Haß 2003, 203). Zunehmend wird das Portfolio auch als greifbares Produkt von autonomem Lernen verwendet und aufgrund der Unverzichtbarkeit von Noten auch zur Bewertung herangezogen. Es ist Ziel dieser Arbeit, zu untersuchen, inwieweit dieser Schritt mit den Zielsetzungen der Portfolioarbeit vereinbar ist. Während das Portfolio zur Bewertung von Projektarbeiten und als Grundlage von Prüfungen durchaus geeignet ist, widerspricht eine direkte Bewertung des Portfolios dem mit ihm verbundenen Grundgedanken. Um einen Ausgangspunkt zu schaffen, soll zuerst ein Überblick über den Portfoliogedanken gegeben werden, wobei auch auf die verschiedenen Funktionen des Portfolios eingegangen wird. Im Folgenden sollen die Bestandteile eines Portfolios sowie ihre potentielle Bewertbarkeit untersucht werden. Dabei wird aufgrund ihrer besonderen Zielsetzungen speziell auf das Entwicklungsportfolio und das Beurteilungsportfolio eingegangen. Um die Verwendung von Portfolios als Prüfungsgrundlage zu veranschaulichen werden danach einige Beispiele aus einem Erfahrungsbericht von Thilo Koch angebracht und auf den Englischunterricht übertragen. Abschließend sollen die gesammelten Informationen zu einem Überblick zusammengefasst werden, der vor allem den hohen Grad an Individualität mit einbezieht, der mit der Portfolioarbeit verbunden ist.
