2 Dear customer! Enclosed please find information about our wireless safety equipment for loading and unloading of Gases and flammable liquids on ships. According ADN regulations (see last page) it is mandatory to be able to shut off the loading or unloading process S from two points in the ship (with LRC) and from S two points on land (with SECU-DATA) Main advantages of our system are S short set up time S no cables (no breakage, damage, no danger to fall, coil or uncoil, ) S the configuration enables a continuous operation during 36 hours. 3 Short product information Loading process Small. The LRC small is connected to the limit probe on board of the ship This process is secured by LRC-Small. using the standard plug. If the limit probe is activated through high level the LRC-Small LRC Small shuts off the pump on land through a radio signal to the charger which ist connected to the pump relais. In addition the he loading process can be stopped using the buttons on the LRC-Small Small. Using the second transmitter (LRC-Small/ Small/Remote), which also is integrated in the radio link it is possible to stop the loading process any time using the Stop function. This device is mobile and can be configured with dead man functionality It can start and stop the loading process. If the device is out of radio link, a warning is given. On land there is the receiver (LRC-Charger) Charger). 4 Unloading process On land the SECU-DATA transmitter is connected to the controller. controller. The controller is integrated in the equipment on land and provides the stop command (emergency stop, fire alarm, tank full, ) The SECU-DATA transmitter sends the signal to the SECU-DATA receiver on the ship. ship The SECU-DATA receiver provides the signal via the standardized interface to the pump on the ship and shuts off the pump. 5 Anhang: EUROPÄISCHES ÜBEREINKOMMEN ÜBER DIE INTERNATIONALE BEFÖRDERUNG VON GEFÄHRLICHEN GÜTERN AUF BINNENWASSERSTRASSEN (ADN). Genf, am 26. Mai 2000 Auszug aus den ADN Vorschriften: Sicherheits- und Kontrolleinrichtungen Beim Laden oder Löschen von Stoffen der Klasse 2 und von Stoffen der UN-Nummern 1280 und 2983 der Klasse 3 muss an zwei Stellen auf dem Schiff (vorn und hinten) und an zwei Stellen an Land (direkt am Zugang zum Schiff und in ausreichender Entfernung an Land) durch Schalter der Lade-/Löschvorgang unterbrochen werden können. Die Unterbrechung des Lade- /Löschvorgangs muss durch ein Schnellschlussventil erfolgen, das sich direkt an der beweglichen Verbindungsleitung zwischen Schiff und Landanlage befindet. Das Unterbrechungssystem muss im Ruhestromprinzip arbeiten a) Der Grenzwertgeber nach Absatz d) hat an Bord einen optischen und akustischen Alarm auszulösen und gleichzeitig einen elektrischen Kontakt zu betätigen, der in Form eines binären Signals die von der Landanlage übergebene und gespeiste Stromschleife unterbrechen und landseitige Maßnahmen gegen ein Überlaufen beim Beladen einleiten kann. Das Signal muss an die Landanlage mittels eines zweipoligen wasserdichten Gerätesteckers einer Kupplungssteckvorrichtung nach Norm EN :1999 für Gleichstrom von 40 bis 50 V, Kennfarbe weiß, Lage der Hilfsnase 10 Uhr, übergeben werden können. Der Stecker muss in unmittelbarer Nähe der Landanschlüsse der Lade- und Löschleitungen fest am Schiff montiert sein. Der Grenzwertgeber muss auch in der Lage sein, die eigene Löschpumpe abzuschalten. Der Grenzwertgeber muss vom Niveau-Warngerät unabhängig sein, darf aber mit dem Niveau- Anzeigegerät gekoppelt sein. b) Beim Löschen unter Verwendung der bordeigenen Pumpe muss diese von der Landanlage abgeschaltet werden können. Hierfür muss eine separate, bordseitig gespeiste, eigensichere Stromschleife landseitig durch einen elektrischen Kontakt unterbrochen werden. Das binäre Signal von der Landanlage muss mittels einer zweipoligen wasserdichten Steckdose einer Kupplungssteckverbindung nach der Norm EN :1999 für Gleichstrom von 40 bis 50 V, Kennfarbe weiß, Lage der Hilfsnase 10 Uhr, übernommen werden können.
