From now onwards, the following products will extend our broad product portfolio: LIGAMED MF BLS Dispersible magnesium stearate PALMSTAR AL PHARMA Aluminium stearate which meets the European pharmacopeia Neue Zertifizierung: EXCiPACT GMP / GDP EXCiPACT ist eine Zertifizierung, die speziell für Excipients entwickelt wurde. Mit einer erfolgreichen Zertifizierung soll sichergestellt werden, dass Unternehmen im Rahmen des Qualitätsmanagements die Standards der Guten Herstellungspraxis (GMP) sowie die der Guten Vertriebspraxis (GDP) einhalten. Unser Life Science Standort Peter Greven Nederland in Venlo ist seit Juli 2017 erfolgreich nach EXCiPACT GMP / GDP zertifiziert. New certification: EXCiPACT GMP / GDP EXCiPACT is a certification especially for excipients. A successful certification shall ensure that companies meet the standards of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) through their quality management. 8 RSPO certified products based on sustainable palm oil Palm oil In order to avoid these negative consequences there are different organisations who are committed to ensuring the sustainable growth and production of palm oil. Advantages of palm oil usage High yield of oil palms Economic value of the cultivation for producing countries Impact on the technical end product properties How can palm oil be obtained sustainable? Also the critical aspects of palm oil production have to be taken into account as an only profit oriented cultivation of oil palms can harm the nature in the growing countries. One example for such an organisation is the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). RSPO is a non-profit organisation, which is actively trying to promote the growth and usage of sustainable palm oil world wide. It consists of representatives from seven sectors of the palm oil industry, among them plantation owners, palm oil producers and processors but also non-governmental organisations and banks, with the common objective of development, introduction and improve ment of global minimum standards for sustainable palm oil. 9 RSPO certified products based on sustainable palm oil RSPO RSPO developed different principles and criteria to define sustainable palm oil production. On this basis they created different certification models for the members of palm oil based supply chains, for example: Mass Balance Segregated Identity Preserved How does Peter Greven support the usage of sustainable palm oil? Unfortunately, the problems of palm oil production will not be solved by simply switching to alternative oil sources as that would just shift the problem to those markets. Therefore we are continuously working to strengthen our focus on the usage of sustainably produced palm oil. We have been able to configure our plant in Venlo to ensure that we are using 100% RSPO Mass Balance certified fatty acid. Simultaneously, our product portfolio already offers the next higher certification level with RSPO Segregated certified products.
