3 Pierre de Corton La Borgogna, nel cuore della Francia, è una regione piena di fascino, sia per ragioni di piacevolezza immediata (i vini leggendari, la tavola genuina, il paesaggio pressoché intatto) sia per la memoria storica che permane appena sfiorata dal progresso. I Celti prima, poi specialmente i Romani hanno lasciato imponenti testimonianze come a Nuits Saint Georges, Avallon, Autun e a Beaune, fondata da Giulio Cesare nel I secolo a. C. Con l estendersi del Cristianesimo, nacque l architettura monastica, sicché, dopo il Mille, si disse che la terra si copriva d une blanche robe d Eglise : era la chiara pietra di Borgogna, con cui si costruivano chiese e monasteri e, ben presto, mura, castelli, edifici, che resistono tuttora allo scorrere del tempo. L interpretazione di Emilceramica della pietra di Borgogna riprende, in particolare, la tonalità di quella proveniente dalle cave presso Beaune. La serie Pierre de Corton è prodotta con una tecnica innovativa ideata e sviluppata da Emilceramica. Con questo procedimento si ricostruisce nella pratica la stratificazione geologica e le sfumature cromatiche originate dalla diffusione di sali di ferro e manganese tipiche della pietra originale. Anche la superficie, morbidamente levigata, contribuisce ad esaltare le colorazioni. Le decorazioni ripropongono i temi decorativi a motivi geometrici e floreali del romanico francese, ancora oggi riconoscibili nelle superfici scolpite e negli affreschi delle abbazie medioevali. Burgundy, in the heart of France, is a fascinating region both for reasons of physical enjoyment (its legendary wines, its traditional cooking, and its virtually intact countryside) and for its historical ambiance which is still very much evident and has only been slightly touched by progress. First the Celts and then especially the Romans left impressive evidence of their presence at Nuits Saint Georges, Avallon, Autun and Beaune which was founded by Julius Caesar in the first century B.C. As Christianity spread, monastic architecture developed; in fact, after the year 1000 it was said that the land was covered d une blanche robe d Eglise this was the lightcolored stone of Burgundy with which were built at first churches and monasteries, then walls, castles, and buildings, many of which have resisted the flow of time and can still be seen today. In particular Emilceramica s interpretation of this stone of Burgundy reproduces the hues of that from the quarries near Beaune. The Pierre de Corton series is manufactured with an innovative technique conceived and developed by Emilceramica. This procedure recreates the geological strata and the nuances of color produced by the presence of ferrous and manganese salts that are typical of the original stone. Even the softly polished surface enhances the colors. The decorations recreate the ornamental themes with the geometrical and floral motifs of the French Romanesque style which can still be seen in the sculpted surfaces and in the frescoes of Medieval abbeys. 5 Das im Herzen Frankreichs gelegene Burgund fasziniert sowohl durch seine unmittelbaren Attraktionen (legendäre Weine, renommierte Küche, größtenteils noch intakte Landschaft) als auch durch historische Kulturgüter, die vom Fortschritt nahezu unberührt bestehen bleiben. Zunächst die Kelten und dann vor allem die Römer haben bedeutende Zeugnisse hinterlassen, wie in Nuits Saint Georges, Avallon, Autun und in Beaune, das im I. Jahrhundert v. Chr. von Julius Cäsar gegründet wurde. Mit der Verbreitung des Christentums entstand die Klosterarchitektur, so dass es nach dem Jahr Tausend hieß, das Land kleide sich in ein weißes Kirchengewand : das war der helle Burgunderstein, mit dem Kirchen und Klöster gebaut wurden, und bald darauf auch Stadtmauern, Burgen und Gebäude, die noch heute den Zeiten standhalten. Die Interpretation des Burgundersteins durch Emilceramica greift insbesondere den Farbton des in den Steinbrüchen bei Beaune abgebauten Materials auf. Die Serie Pierre de Corton wird mit einer innovativen, von Emilceramica entwickelten Technologie produziert. Mit diesem Verfahren werden die geologische Schichtung und die Farbnuancen, die durch die für den Naturstein typische Diffusion von Eisen und Mangansalzen entstehen, praktisch rekonstruiert. Auch die weich geschliffene Oberfläche akzentuiert die Farbeffekte. Die Dekore sind geometrische und Blumenmotive der französischen Romanik, die noch heute in den behauenen Flächen und Fresken der mittelalterlichen Abteien erkennbar sind. Nuits Saint Georges, Avallon, Autun et Beaune, fondée par Jules César au I er siècle av. J.C., conservent de magnifiques témoignages du passage des Celtes et surtout des Romains. Avec la diffusion du Christianisme apparut l'architecture monastique. On disait, après l'an Mil, que la terre se couvrait «d'une blanche robe d'église» : c était la pierre claire de Bourgogne avec laquelle on bâtissait des églises et des monastères et, bien vite, des remparts, des châteaux, des édifices qui aujourd'hui encore résistent au temps. L'interprétation de la pierre de Bourgogne par Emilceramica reprend en particulier la tonalité de la pierre originaire des carrières proches de Beaune. La série Pierre de Corton est produite selon une technique novatrice, conçue et développée par Emilceramica. Concrètement, ce processus reconstruit la stratification géologique et les nuances chromatiques propres à la pierre d'origine, qui sont données par la diffusion des sels de fer et de manganèse. La surface, lisse et polie, contribue à rehausser les couleurs. Les décorations proposent les thèmes décoratifs aux motifs géométriques et floraux du style roman français, que l'on retrouve aujourd'hui encore dans les fresques et les surfaces sculptées des abbayes médiévales. A medida que el Cristianismo se fue extendiendo surgió la arquitectura monástica por lo que, después del año mil, se dice que la tierra estaba cubierta por une blanche robe d Eglise : era la piedra clara de Borgoña, con la que se contruían iglesias y monasterios, muros, castillos y edificios que hoy en día siguen resistiendo el paso del tiempo. La interpretación de Emilceramica recupera especialmente la tonalidad de la piedra de Borgoña procedente de las canteras de Beaune. La serie Pierre de Corton se produce con un técnica innovadora creada y desarrollada por Emilceramica. Con este proceso se reconstruyen en la práctica la estratificación geológica y los matices cromáticos procedentes de la difusión de sales de hierro y manganeso típicos de la piedra original. La superficie, ligeramente pulida, ayuda a exaltar las coloraciones. Il prodotto deve essere realizzato per pressatura con la tecnologia del doppio caricamento di materie prime in polvere e/o scaglie inserite casualmente durante la fase di preparazione delle miscele. Il retro del materiale deve evidenziare il naturale taglio a sega circolare. Il materiale deve essere assolutamente inerte. Il processo produttivo deve impiegare materie prime non nocive, non radioattive, non contenenti metalli pesanti (cadmio, piombo), permettendo di ottenere un prodotto in accordo con le tecniche della bioarchitettura. La varietà cromatica deve riprodurre nella superficie e nella massa l aspetto della pietra di Corton, con venature non ripetitive nel corpo del prodotto e garanzia di resistenza all usura nel tempo. Il materiale deve essere classificato nel gruppo BIa secondo la norma ISO e rispondere a tutti i requisiti di prodotto previsti dalla norma ISO Specificatamente deve resistere al gelo (ISO 10545/12); agli sbalzi termici (ISO 10545/9); all attacco acido e basico (ISO 10545/13); possedere un valore di assorbimento d acqua (ISO 10545/3) inferiore a 0,04%; ottenere una resistenza a flessione (ISO 10545/4) pari o superiore a 57N/mm 2 ; ottenere un valore di volume di materiale rimosso pari o inferiore a 164 mm 3 se sottoposto alla prova di resistenza all abrasione profonda (ISO 10545/6); risultare non macchiabile da agenti sporcanti alimentari secondo CTI17 (Ceramic Tile Institute, USA).
