14 Eco-friendly railway Umweltfreundliche Bahn Wer unsere Umwelt schützen will, setzt mit dem System Bahn auf das sauberste Transportmittel. In Österreich trägt die Rail Cargo Group wesentlich zum modalen Marktanteil der Bahn von über 30 % bei. Mit jedem Waggon wird die Umwelt geschont. Denn der Güterverkehr auf der Schiene verursacht der Umwelt 20-mal weniger CO 2 im Unterschied zum Straßengüterverkehr. Aber nicht nur in Österreich ist die Rail Cargo Group grün. Bereits 64 % unseres gesamten Transportaufkommens wird im grenzüberschreitenden Verkehr abgewickelt.
