10 1 Surgical Laparoscopes OP-Laparoskope Laparoscopy in Gynecology Laparoskopie in der Gynäkologie During a gynecological laparoscopy it is possible to make the ovary and the fallopian tube visible. The surgical laparoscope is introduced into the abdomen through a trocar sleeve, and the ring applicator for fallopian tube sterilization will be adapted. The ring applicator sets a clip over the tube and thereby disconnects the way to the uterus. The surgical laparoscopes from LUT offer a brilliant picture, as they are built with a highest quality rodlens system. A straight forward wide angle objective delivers a perfect view of the operation field. Bei einer gynäkologischen Laparoskopie ist es möglich, Eierstock und Eileiter über einen perkutanen Zugang durch die Bauchdecke sichtbar zu machen. Über eine Trokarhülse wird das OP-Laparoskop eingeführt und der Ringapplikator zur Tubensterilisation eingesetzt. Mit Ringapplikatoren können Clips so über den Eileiter gelegt werden, dass dieser abgeklemmt und somit der Weg zur Gebärmutter blockiert wird. LUT OP-Laparoskope bieten ein brillantes Bild, da sie mit einem Stablinsensystem höchster Qualität ausgestattet sind. Ein Geradeaus-Weitwinkelobjektiv macht das OP-Feld optimal sichtbar.

The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends for endoscopes a mandatory holding time of minutes at 134 C / 273 F. According to this recommendation, the steam sterilization = autoclavation, is the method of choice. All LUT endoscopes in this catalogue feature the Autoclave Logo as they have certified their outstanding performance and standing by passing several tests. Further recommended sterilization methods: STERRAD from Johnson & Johnson = low temperature plasma sterilisation. STERIS SYSTEM1 from Steris Corporation = cold liquid sterilization. Both methods avoid high temperatures on optical systems and are therefore very gentle. Nevertheless the use of peracedic acid as well as hydrogen peroxide may cause a more intensive wear of the surface. The safety of each sterilization method is related to the original number of bacteria and to the grade of cleanness of the product. An effective, validated and standardised cleaning and disinfections are preconditions for a safe sterilization. This is only possible if the personnel proceeds according to recognized and validated preparation methods. The effects of the sterilizing process have to be documented by the user. Sterilisation / Aufbereitung Seit dem Ausbruch der Creutzfeld-Jakob-Krankheit haben sich viele Wissenschaftler damit beschäftigt, wie man der Gefahr begegnet, bei invasiven Eingriffen Krankheitserreger zu übertragen. Die World Health Organisation (WHO) empfiehlt für Endoskope eine Haltezeit von Minuten bei 134 C / 273 F. Nach dieser Empfehlung gilt die Dampfsterilisation = das Autoklavieren, als die sicherste Methode. Alle LUT-Endoskope in diesem Katalog sind mit dem Autoclave-Zeichen gekennzeichnet und haben ihre hervorragende und somit überdurchschnittliche Haltbarkeit in umfangreichen Tests nachgewiesen. Weitere geeignete Sterilisationsverfahren: STERRAD von Johnson & Johnson = Niedertemperatur- Plasma-Sterilisation. STERIS SYSTEM1 von Steris Corporation = kalte Flüssig-Sterilisation. Beide Verfahren vermeiden hohe Temperaturen an optischen Systemen und sind daher schonender. Dennoch kann der Einsatz der Stoffe (Wasserstoffperoxid bzw. Peroxy-Essigsäure) zu einem erhöhten Oberflächenverschleiß führen. Alle LUT-Endoskope in diesem Katalog sind materialverträglich bezüglich folgender Aufbereitungsverfahren: - Einlegen in Desinfektionslösungen, welche zur Desinfektion von starren und/oder flexiblen Endoskopen freigegeben sind - Gassterilisation: Ethylenoxid - Verfahren STERIS SYSTEM1 und STERRAD 50, 100S, Autoklavierung Min. bei 134 C gemäß WHO Empfehlung Die genannten Verfahren garantieren alleine noch keine Desinfektion oder Sterilität. Die Sicherheit jedes Sterilisationsverfahrens ist von der Ausgangskeimzahl und vom Grad der Sauberkeit des zu sterilisierenden Produkts abhängig. Die effektive, validierte und standardisierte Reinigung und Desinfektion sind somit Vorbedingung für eine sichere Sterilisation. Diese läßt sich erzielen, wenn das Personal nach anerkannten und validierten Aufbereitungsverfahren vorgeht.
