Deze handleiding helpt u op weg met het installeren en bedienen van de wireless heating control set. In deze handleiding wordt de bediening van de heating control set op drie manieren omschreven: Paragraaf 7.1; Handmatige bediening van de heating control set. Paragraaf 7.2; Bediening van de heating control set met de bijgeleverde afstandsbediening. Paragraaf 7.3; Bediening van de heating control set met Homewizard.* Wij adviseren u om de volgorde van installatie aan te houden zoals omschreven in deze handleiding. 2 Inleiding 2.1 Beschrijving van het product De wireless heating controller (SHS-53000) is een slimme radiatorkraan en is bedoeld voor het aansturen van een enkele radiator. Elk ander gebruik dan het hierboven beschreven bedoeld gebruik wordt gezien als onbedoeld gebruik. Smartwares kan niet verantwoordelijk worden gesteld voor eventuele schade veroorzaakt door oneigenlijk, verkeerd of onverstandig gebruik. 2.2 Omgevingsinvloeden Gebruik de slimme radiatorkraan alleen binnenshuis en hang deze niet in een magnetisch veld. Dit kan schade veroorzaken aan de interne componenten. 2.3 Gebruikte symbolen WAARSCHUWING De gebruiker kan zichzelf (ernstig) verwonden of het product ernstig beschadigen. Een waarschuwing duidt op de kans op schade aan de gebruiker of aan het product, als de gebruiker de procedures niet zorgvuldig uitvoert. * Het bedienen van de wireless heating control set met de HomeWizard is optioneel. 3 3 Voorzorgsmaatregelen en veiligheidsinstructies 4.1 Belangrijkste onderdelen WAARSCHUWING Monteer het product niet buiten, of op plaatsen waar het nat kan worden. Het is niet toegestaan om zelf het product open te (laten) maken of te (laten) repareren. In dat geval vervallen garanties. Gebruik alleen originele accessoires van de fabrikant. Houd het product buiten bereik van kinderen. Gebruik een droge schone doek om het product schoon te maken. Gebruik geen schurende middelen, bijtende schoonmaakmiddelen of middelen met bleek of oplosmiddelen om het product schoon te maken. Let op! Monteer het product zoals aangegeven in deze handleiding. Raadpleeg bij twijfel een erkend monteur en neem altijd de lokale montagevoorschriften in acht. Bij het terugzetten naar fabrieksinstellingen worden alle instellingen vervangen. Dit betekent dat u uw handmatig ingestelde programma s en voorkeuzes kwijt bent. U kunt deze niet terughalen. 4 4.2 Accessoires Deze accessoires zijn van toepassing voor het monteren op een Danfoss ventiel. (Alle handelsmerken en geristreerde handelsmerken zijn het eigendom van hun respectieve eigenaars). 1 Danfoss RA ring 2 Danfoss RAV ring 3 Danfoss RAV dop 4 Danfoss RAVL ring (M30 schroefdraad) Het eerste gebruik 5.1 De batterijen plaatsen De slimme radiatorkraan 1 Schuif het batterijdeksel van het product. 2 Plaats 2 AA batterijen (niet meegeleverd). Dit hoeft alleen bij het eerste gebruik. 5.2 De datum en tijd instellen 1 Draai aan de draaiknop om het jaar in te stellen. 2 Druk op OK om te bevestigen. In het display knippert de maand. 3 Draai aan de draaiknop om de maand in te stellen. 4 Druk op OK om te bevestigen. In het display knippert de dag. 5 Draai aan de draaiknop om de dag in te stellen. 6 Druk op OK om te bevestigen. In het display knippert het uur. 7 Draai aan de draaiknop om het uur in te stellen. 8 Druk op OK om te bevestigen. In het display knipperen de minuten. 9 Draai aan de draaiknop om de minuten in te stellen 10 Druk op OK om te bevestigen. 11 Het ventiel draait in het product en in het display verschijnt ins. Het product is nu gereed om op de radiator bevestigd te worden. Let op! Druk niet nogmaals op OK voordat het product gemonteerd is op een radiator. Indien u te lang wacht met het instellen van de datum of de tijd, gaat het product er vanuit dat dit goed is ingesteld. 5 6 Montage en installatie Let op! Doorloop eerst de stappen van hoofdstuk 6 indien u dit nog niet gedaan heeft. Druk niet op OK voordat het product gemonteerd is op een radiator. Het water uit het verwarmingssysteem hoeft niet afgetapt te worden wanneer u het product gaat monteren. 6.1 Voorbereiding voor montage Indien aanwezig, verwijder de oude kraan van de radiator. Raadpleeg de handleiding of website van de fabrikant voor een exacte omschrijving. Let op! Draai de kraan dicht voordat u deze verwijderd. Dit doet u door de kraan linksom te draaien. Montage op een standaard ventiel volg de stappen bij paragraaf 6.2, voor een Danfoss ventiel volg de stappen bij paragraaf 6.3. WAARSCHUWING Let tijdens installatie op dat uw vinger niet klem komt te zitten tussen de twee delen van een Danfoss ring. Danfoss RA ring 1 Plaats de RA ring om het ventiel van de radiator. Let op! Plaats de Danfoss ring zodanig, dat deze goed klemt in de uitsparing (E) op de radiator. 2 Bevestig de RA ring met behulp van de bijgeleverde schroef en moer. Danfoss RAV ring 1 Plaats de RAV dop (F) op het ventiel van de radiator. 6.2 Montage op een standaard ventiel 1 Trek de bevestigingsring uit tot een CLICK! te horen is. 2 Duw het product op de radiator. 3 Draai de bevestigingsring vast door deze rechtsom te draaien. Let op! Plaats de Danfoss ring zodanig, dat deze goed klemt in de uitsparing (E) op de radiator. 2 Bevestig de RAV ring met behulp van de bijgeleverde schroef en moer. E E E F Het product is nu bevestigd op de radiator. 4 Druk op OK. De ventielbediening draait uit het product. In het display verschijnt AdA. Bij een juiste montage verschijnt in het display het startscherm. Bij een onjuiste montage verschijnt een foutmelding code (F1, F2 of F3). Zie hoofdstuk Storingen voor meer informatie. 6.3 Montage op een Danfoss ventiel Bepaal eerst welke van de drie Danfoss ringen (RA/RAV/RAVL) geplaatst moet worden op het ventiel van de radiator. Bevestig deze ring en plaats daarna de slimme radiatorkraan. D Danfoss RAVL ring 1 Plaats de RAVL ring om het ventiel van de radiator. Deze hoeft niet te worden vastgeschroefd. 2 Trek de bevestigingsring uit tot een CLICK! te horen is. 3 Duw het product op de radiator. 4 Draai de bevestigingsring vast door deze rechtsom te draaien. Het product is nu bevestigd op de radiator. 5 Druk op OK. De ventielbediening draait uit het product. In het display verschijnt AdA. D De radiator bevat uitsparingen, zorg ervoor dat de Danfoss ring hier goed in kan klemmen. Bij een juiste montage verschijnt in het display het startscherm. Bij een onjuiste montage verschijnt een foutmelding code (F1, F2 of F3). 6 6.4 Herinstallatie van de slimme radiatorkraan Voer de volgende stappen uit om de slimme radiatorkraan te herinstalleren, zonder het geheugen te wissen: 1 Houd de Menuknop ingedrukt tot Pro in het display verschijnt. 2 Kies INS door aan de draaiknop te draaien. 3 Druk op OK. Het ventiel draait in en uit het product om dejuiste afstelling te vinden. In het display verschijnt AdA. 7 Bediening 7.1 Handmatige bediening van de heating control set Handmatig de temperatuur instellen 1 Draai aan de draaiknop tot de gewenste temperatuur wordt weergegeven in het display. 2 Druk in het startscherm herhaaldelijk op de Menuknop tot Manu verschijnt. De handmatige temperatuurinstelling is nu van toepassing De actuele temperatuur bekijken 1 Houd de Menuknop ingedrukt tot Pro in het display verschijnt.weergegeven in het display. 2 Kies tep door aan de draaiknop te draaien. 3 Druk op OK. Gedurende 30 seconden bepaalt de slimme radiatorkraan de actuele temperatuur Een hoge en lage temperatuur instellen Let op! De lage temperatuur dient lager te zijn dan de hoge temperatuur. Anders werkt de instelling niet. 1 Houd de knop ingedrukt tot de hoge temperatuur in het display verschijnt. Dit is te zien aan het symbool. 2 Stel de gewenste temperatuur in door aan de draaiknop te draaien. 3 Druk op OK. In het display verschijnt de lage temperatuur. Dit is te zien aan het symbool. 4 Stel de gewenste temperatuur in door aan de draaiknop te draaien. 5 Druk op OK. Het startscherm verschijnt. 6 Druk herhaaldelijk op de knop om te schakelen tussen de hoge en lage temperatuurinstelling Programma s instellen Een weekprogramma instellen U kunt per dag een verwarmingsprogramma instellen. In de slimme radiatorkraan kunt u 3 verschillende tijdstippen instellen waarop de slimme radiatorkraan naar een bepaalde temperatuur moet schakelen. 1 Houd de Menuknop ingedrukt tot Pro in het display verschijnt. 2 Druk op OK. Bovenin het display knippert de dag. 3 Kies de gewenste dag door aan de draaiknop te draaien: Mo = maandag, Tu = dinsdag, We = woensdag, Th = donderdag, Fr = vrijdag, Sa = zaterdag, Su = zondag. 4 Druk op OK. In het display knippert de tijd waarop de slimme radiatorkraan de eerste keer moet inschakelen. 5 Stel de tijd in door aan de draaiknop te draaien. 6 Druk op OK. 7 In het display knippert de tijd waarop de slimme radiatorkraan de eerste keer moet uitschakelen. 8 Stel de tijd in door aan de draaiknop te draaien. 9 Druk op OK. 10 In het display knippert de temperatuur waarmee de slimme radiatorkraan moet inschakelen. 11 Stel de tijd in door aan de draaiknop te draaien. 12 Druk op OK. In het display knippert de tijd waarop de slimme radiatorkraan de tweede keer moet inschakelen. 13 Herhaal de voorgaande 7 stappen om het tweede en derde tijdstip en de daarbij behorende temperatuur in te stellen. Herhaal bovenstaande stappen indien u de overige dagen wilt instellen. Druk in het startscherm herhaaldelijk op de Menuknop tot AUTO verschijnt. Het ingestelde weekprogramma is nu van toepassing. Let op! Zodra handmatige instellingen worden ingeschakeld (Manu), wordt het weekprogramma uitgeschakeld Vakantieprogramma instellen 1 Druk in het startscherm herhaaldelijk op de Menuknop tot verschijnt. In het display knippert de tijd. 7 3 Druk op OK. De datum knippert. 4 Stel de dag in door aan de draaiknop te draaien. 5 Druk op OK. De temperatuur knippert. 6 Stel de gewenste temperatuur tijdens uw vakantie in door aan de draaiknop te draaien. 7 Druk op OK. Tip! Druk op de Menuknop om het vakantieprogramma tussentijds te beëindigen Kinderbeveiliging in- en uitschakelen Inschakelen 1 Druk de Menuknop en de knop tegelijkertijd in. In het display verschijnt LOC. De kinderbeveiliging is nu ingeschakeld. Het product reageert niet wanneer op de knoppen wordt gedrukt of aan de draaiknop wordt gedraaid. Uitschakelen 2 Druk de Menuknop en de knop tegelijkertijd in wanneer de kinderbeveiliging is ingeschakeld. In het display verdwijnt LOC. De kinderbeveiliging is nu uitgeschakeld Temperatuurbeveiliging in geval van ventilatie instellen De slimme radiatorkraan heeft een temperatuurbeveiliging in geval van ventilatie. Wanneer een vermindering van 1,5 C binnen 3 minuten wordt gedetecteerd, schakelt de slimme radiatorkraan naar een lage temperatuur. De slimme radiatorkraan blijft een bepaalde tijdsduur in deze lage temperatuur. 1 Houd de Menuknop ingedrukt tot Pro in het display verschijnt. 2 Kies AEr door aan de draaiknop te draaien. 3 Druk op OK. In het display knipperen de minuten waarin de temperatuur laag blijft. 4 Stel het aantal minuten in door aan de draaiknop te draaien. 5 Druk op OK. In het display knippert de temperatuur. De slimme radiatorkraan schakelt naar deze temperatuur indien ventilatie wordt gedetecteerd. 6 Stel de temperatuur in door aan de draaiknop te draaien. 7 Druk op OK om te bevestigen De datum en tijd wijzigen 1 Houd de Menuknop ingedrukt tot Pro in het display verschijnt. 2 Kies dat door aan de draaiknop te draaien. 3 Druk op OK. Het jaartal verschijnt. 4 Draai aan de draaiknop om het jaar in te stellen. 5 Druk op OK om te bevestigen 6 Draai aan de draaiknop om de maand in te stellen. 7 Druk op OK om te bevestigen. 8 Draai aan de draaiknop om de dag in te stellen. 9 Druk op OK om te bevestigen. 10 Draai aan de draaiknop om het uur in te stellen. 11 Druk op OK om te bevestigen. 12 Draai aan de draaiknop om de minuten in te stellen 13 Druk op OK om te bevestigen. De datum en tijd zijn nu gewijzigd. Druk op de Menuknop om terug te keren naar het startscherm Een temperatuurcorrectie instellen Als u de slimme radiatorkraan gebruikt in combinatie met een wandthermostaat, dan wordt de kamertemperatuur gemeten aan de wandthermostaat. Het is dus mogelijk dat het elders in de kamer kouder of warmer is. Om dit te compenseren kan een verschiltemperatuur ingesteld worden. Bijvoorbeeld: uw wandthermostaat meet 22 graden en de slimme radiatorkraan meet 24 graden, dan kunt u de slimme radiatorkraan 2 graden bijstellen. Dit doet u als volgt: 1 Houd de Menuknop ingedrukt tot Pro in het display verschijnt. 2 Kies tof door aan de draaiknop te draaien. 3 Druk op OK. In het display verschijnt 0,0 C. 4 Stel een gewenste offset temperatuur in door aan de draaiknop te draaien. 5 Druk op OK om te bevestigen Een temperatuurcorrectie instellen 1 Houd de Menuknop ingedrukt tot Pro in het display verschijnt. 2 Kies res door aan de draaiknop te draaien. 3 Druk op OK. In het display knippert res. 4 Druk op OK om de slimme radiatorkraan terug te zetten naar de fabrieksinstellingen. Druk op de Menuknop om te annuleren. 7.2 Bediening van de heating control set met afstandsbediening Met behulp van de afstandsbediening kan de verwarming op een hoge of lage temperatuur ingeschakeld worden. Hiervoor dient de slimme radiatorkraan eerst op een hoge en lage temperatuur ingesteld te worden. Voor meer informatie, zie subparagraaf Het bereik van een afstandsbediening is 50 meter, waardoor u een slimme radiatorkraan aan de andere kant van het huis eenvoudig kunt inschakelen. 12 Gebruikershandleiding wireless climate control Gebruikershandleiding wireless climate control kit 13

8 7.2.1 Een hoge en lage temperatuur instellen Let op! De slimme radiatorkraan kan maximaal aan 3 draadloze apparaten (zoals de HomeWizard, een afstandsbediening of een sensor) gekoppeld worden. Wanneer het geheugen vol is, verschijnt in het display (FULL). Raadpleeg hoofdstuk 9 voor meer informatie. 1 Houd de Menuknop ingedrukt tot Pro in het display verschijnt. 2 Kies rfs door aan de draaiknop te draaien. Let op! Wees er zeker van dat u rfs kiest en niet res. Wanneer u res kiest en de stappen hieronder volgt, zet u de slimme radiatorkraan terug naar fabrieksinstellingen. 3 Druk op OK. De slimme radiatorkraan komt in de koppelstand. Gedurende 30 seconden kan een afstandsbediening gekoppeld of ontkoppeld worden. 4 Voer een van de volgende handelingen uit: a. Druk op een van de ON knoppen om de afstandsbediening te koppelen. Er klinkt een pieptoon, de afstandsbediening is nu gekoppeld. b. Druk op een van de OFF knoppen om de afstandsbediening te ontkoppelen. Er klinkt een pieptoon, de afstandsbediening is nu ontkoppeld. c. Druk op de ALL OFF knop om alle afstandsbedieningen te ontkoppelen. Er klinkt een pieptoon, alle afstandsbedieningen zijn ontkoppeld De slimme radiatorkraan bedienen met een afstandsbediening 1 Stel een hoge en lage temperatuur in op de gewenste slimme radiatorkraan. Zie subparagraaf voor meer informatie. 2 Voer een van de volgende handelingen uit: a. Druk op de ON knop om de slimme radiatorkraan in te schakelen op de hoge ingestelde temperatuur. b. Druk op de OFF knop om de slimme radiatorkraan in te schakelen op de lage ingestelde temperatuur Alle afstandsbedieningen ontkoppelen via de slimme radiatorkraan 1 Houd de Menuknop ingedrukt tot Pro in het display verschijnt. 2 Kies UnL door aan de draaiknop te draaien. 3 Druk op OK. In het display knippert UnL. 4 Druk op OK om alle gekoppelde afstandsbedieningen te ontkoppelen. Druk op de Menuknop om te annuleren. Let op! Dit apparaat is compatible met HomeWizard. HomeWizard stelt u in staat om dit apparaat met een APP op uw smartphone of tablet te bedienen. Kijk voor meer informatie over HomeWizard op de website Bediening van de heating control set met Homewizard Hoe voeg ik de slimme radiatorkraan toe aan de Homewizard app? Let op! De slimme radiatorkraan kan maximaal aan 3 externe apparaten gekoppeld worden. Wanneer het geheugen vol is, verschijnt in het display (FULL). Raadpleeg hoofdstuk 9 voor meer informatie. 1 Open de HomeWizard app op uw smartphone of tablet. 2 Houd de Menuknop ingedrukt tot Pro in het display verschijnt. 3 Kies rfs door aan de draaiknop te draaien. Let op! Wees er zeker van dat u rfs kiest en niet res. Wanneer u res kiest en de stappen hieronder volgt, zet u de slimme radiatorkraan terug naar fabrieksinstellingen. 4 Druk op OK. De slimme radiatorkraan komt in de koppelstand. Gedurende 30 seconden kan de slimme radiatorkraan worden toegevoegd aan de Homewizard app. 5 Druk linksboven in het scherm op de knop Menu (de drie strepen boven elkaar). 6 Druk op Nieuwe Sensor. Tip! Schuif met uw vinger over het scherm om te zoeken. 7 Druk op Thermostaatkraan. 8 Druk op Radiator valve Name. Vul een gewenste naam voor het apparaat in en druk op OK (Android) of Gereed (ios). 9 Druk op Code en druk vervolgens op Genereer nieuwe code. Er klinkt een pieptoon, de slimme radiatorkraan is gekoppeld aan HomeWizard. 10 Druk op de vink rechtsboven in het scherm. De slimme radiatorkraan is toegevoegd aan de Homewizard app en is te vinden in het startscherm onder Thermostaatkraan. Voer de bovenstaande handelingen uit voor de andere heating controller. Zie paragraaf 8.7 voor het toevoegen van een afstandsbediening Hoe stel ik de temperatuur in? 1 Druk in het Homescherm van de HomeWizard app op Thermostaatkraan. Een uitklapmenu verschijnt met de door u toegevoegde slimme radiatorkraan. 2 Druk op de naam van de gewenste slimme radiatorkraan. Een popup verschijnt. 3 Schuif met uw vinger over het scherm om de juiste temperatuur te kiezen. 4 Druk op Set om de temperatuur in te stellen. 14 Gebruikershandleiding wireless climate control Gebruikershandleiding wireless climate control kit 15

9 7.3.3 Hoe schakel ik de slimme radiatorkraan in- of uit? 1 Druk in het Homescherm van de HomeWizard app op Thermostaatkraan. Een uitklapmenu verschijnt met de door u toegevoegde slimme radiatorkraan. 2 Voer één van de volgende handelingen uit: a. Druk op het icoon om de slimme radiatorkraan in te schakelen op de hoge ingestelde temperatuur. b. Druk op het icoon om de slimme radiatorkraan in te schakelen op de lage ingestelde temperatuur. 8 Onderhoud Het product is onderhoudsvrij dus maak het niet open. De garantie vervalt als u het product opent. Controleer een keer per maand of de bevestigingsring goed bevestigd is. Draai de bevestigingsring aan indien deze los zit. Vervang de batterijen indien de batterij indicator gaat knipperen. let op! het geheugen van het product blijft maximaal 1 minuut bewaard. 9 Storingen Storing Oorzaak Oplossing Het batterijsymbool knippert Batterijen bijna leeg Vervang de batterijen. In this manual, the operation of the heating control set has been described in three ways: Paragraph 7.1; manual control of the heating control set. Paragraph 7.2; operating the heating control set with the supplied remote control. Paragraph 7.3; operating the heating control set with Homewizard. We advise you to keep to the order of installation as described in this manual. 4 Composition of product What s in the box of the wireless heating control set? 1 Two smart radiator valves 2 A remote control 3 Danfoss fixing rings (2 x) Introduction 2.1 Description of product The wireless heating controller (SHS-53000) is a smart radiator valve and is intended to control a single radiator. Any other use than the intended use described above is seen as unintended use. Smartwares cannot be held responsible for possible damage caused by improper, incorrect or unwise use. 2 X Environmental influences Use the smart radiator valve only indoors and do not suspend it in a magnetic field. Note the + and - polarity! 3 Slide close the battery lid of the product Remote control Activate the battery by pulling the plastic tab from the battery compartment. This is only necessary when used the first time. 5.2 Set the date and time 1 Turn the dial button to set the year. 2 Press OK to confirm. The product is now ready to be mounted on the radiator. Notice! Do not press OK again before the product is mounted on a heater. When you wait too long with the setting of the date or the time, the product takes it for granted that the settings have been completed. The valve turns again in the product. 6 Assembly and installation Notice! Follow the steps of chapter 5 if you have not done so already. Do not press OK before the product is assembled on a radiator. The water from the heating system needs not to be drained when assembling the product. 6.1 Preparation for assembly If present, remove the old tap of the radiator. Consult the manual or website of the manufacturer for an exact description. Notice! Turn the tap to close before removing it. Remove the tap by turning it counterclockwise. For assembly on a standard valve, follow the steps in paragraph 6.2 and for a Danfoss valve, follow the steps in paragraph Assembly on a standard valve 1 Pull out the fixing ring until a CLICK is heard. 2 Push the product onto the radiator. 3 Fasten the fixing ring by turning it clockwise. The product is now mounted to the radiator. 4 Press the OK button. The valve actuation turns out from the product. AdA appears on the display. When properly mounted the home screen appears on the display. With an incorrect assembly, an error code (F1, F2 or F3) appears. See chapter Failure for more information. 6.3 Assembly on a Danfoss valve First, determine which of the three Danfoss rings (RA/IPR/RAVL) should be placed on the valve of the radiator. Fix these rings tightly and then place the smart thermostat head. The radiator contains recesses; make sure that the Danfoss ring fits securely. WARNING Be careful not to catch your fingers between the two parts of a Danfoss ring during installation. Danfoss RA ring 1 Place the RA ring around the valve of the radiator. Notice! Place the Danfoss ring so that it engages tightly in the recess (E) on the radiator. 2 Bolt on the RA ring using the supplied screw and nut. Danfoss RAV ring 1 Place the RAV cap (F) to the valve on the radiator. Notice! 14 E E E 3 Press the OK button. During the next 30 seconds the smart thermostat head determines the actual temperature. Danfoss RAVL ring 1 Place the RAVL ring around the valve of the radiator. It needs not to be bolted on. 2 Pull out the fixing ring until a CLICK is heard. 3 Push the product onto the radiator. 4 Fasten the fixing ring by turning it clockwise. The product is now mounted to the radiator. 5 Press the OK button. The valve actuation turns out from the product. AdA appears on the display. When properly mounted the home screen appears on the display. With an incorrect assembly, an error code (F1, F2 or F3) appears. See chapter Failure for more information. 6.4 Reinstallation of the smart thermostat head Perform the following steps to reinstall the thermostat head, without erasing the memory: 1 Keep the Menu button pressed until Pro appears on the display. 2 Choose INS by turning the dial button. 3 Press the OK button. The valve turns in and out of the product to find the proper adjustment. F D Setting a high and low temperature Notice! The low temperature needs to be lower than the high temperature. This is shown by the symbol. 2 Set the desired temperature by turning the dial button. 3 Press the OK button. On the display the low temperature appears. This is shown by the symbol. 4 Set the desired temperature by turning the dial button. 5 Press the OK button. The home screen appears. 6 Press repeatedly on the button to switch between the high and low temperature settings Setting Programmes Setting up a programme for a week You can set up a daily heating programme. The smart thermostat head can be set to 3 different times at which the smart thermostat head will switch to a certain temperature. 1 Keep the Menu button pressed until Pro appears on the display. 2 Press the OK button. At the top of the display day is flashing. 3 Set the desired day by turning the dial button: Mo = Monday, Tu = Tuesday, We = Wednesday, Th = Thursday, Fr = Friday, Sa = Saturday, Su = Sunday. 4 Press the OK button. On the display, the time flashes at which the smart thermostat head must switch on for the first time. 5 Set the preferred time by turning the dial button. 6 Press the OK button. 7 On the display, the time flashes at which the smart thermostat head must switch off for the first time. 8 Set the preferred time by turning the dial button. 9 Press the OK button. 10 On the display, the temperature flashes at which the smart thermostat head must switch on for the first time. 11 Set the preferred time by turning the dial button. 24 User maual wireless climate control

On the display, the time flashes at which the smart thermostat head must switch on for the first time. 13 Repeat the previous 7 steps to set the second and third point in time and the corresponding temperature.. Repeat the above steps when you want to set the other days. On the home screen, repeatedly press the Menu button until AUTO appears. The set week programme now applies. Notice! As soon as manual settings are enabled (Manu), the week programmes are disabled Setting holiday programmes 1 On the home screen, repeatedly press the Menu button until appears. On the display the time is flashing. The temperature setting changes after this period of time to the set holiday position. 2 Set the preferred time by turning the dial button. 3 Press the OK button. The date flashes. 4 Set the day by turning the dial button. 5 Press the OK button. 6 The temperature flashes. 7 Set the desired temperature for the holiday period by turning the dial button. 8 Press the OK button. Tip! Press the Menu button to temporarily terminate the holiday programme Switching child lock system on or off Switching on 1 Press the Menu button and the button simultaneously. LOC appears on the display. The child lock system has now been enabled. The product does not respond when the buttons are pressed or when the dial button is turned. Switching off 2 Press the Menu button and the button simultaneously when the child lock system is engaged. LOC disappears from the display. The child lock system has now been disabled Setting temperature protection in case of ventilation The smart thermostat head has a temperature protection modus in case of ventilation. When a decrease in temperature of 1.5 C is detected within 3 minutes, the thermostat head switches to a low temperature. The smart thermostat head remains at this low temperature for a certain amount of time. 1 Keep the Menu button pressed until Pro appears on the display. 2 Choose AEr by turning the dial button. 3 Press the OK button. On the display, the minutes flash during which the temperature remains low. 4 Set the number of minutes by turning the dial button. 5 Press the OK button. On the display the temperature is flashing. The smart thermostat head switches to this temperature when ventilation has been detected. 6 Set the temperature by turning the dial button. 7 Press OK to confirm Adjusting the date and time 1 Keep the Menu button pressed until Pro appears on the display. 2 Choose dat by turning the dial button. 3 Press the OK button. The year appears. 4 Turn the dial button to set the year. 5 Press OK to confirm. 6 Turn the dial button to set the month. 7 Press OK to confirm. 8 Turn the dial button to set the day. 9 Press OK to confirm. 10 Turn the dial button to set the hour. 11 Press OK to confirm. 12 Turn the dial button to set the minutes. 13 Press OK to confirm. The date and time have been adjusted. Press the Menu button to return to the home screen Set a temperature correction If you use the smart thermostat head in combination with a wall thermostat, then the wall thermostat determines the room temperature. It is thus possible that it is colder or warmer elsewhere in the room. To compensate for this, a temperature variance can be set. For example: when your wall thermostat measures 22 degrees and the smart thermostat head measures 24 degrees, then you can adjust the smart thermostat by 2 degrees. 16 3 Press the OK button. 0.0 C appears on the display. 4 Set the preferred offset temperature by turning the dial button. 5 Press OK to confirm Resetting to factory settings 1 Keep the Menu button pressed until Pro appears on the display. 2 Choose res by turning the dial button. 3 Press the OK button. res flashes on the display. 4 Press OK to reset the thermostat head to the factory settings. Press the Menu button to cancel. 7.2 Operating the heating control set with remote control Using the remote control the heating can be set to a high or low temperature. To this end, the smart thermostat head needs first to be set on a high and low temperature. For more information, see sub-section The range of a remote control is 50 metres, which means that you can easily enable the smart thermostat head from the other side of the house Setting a high or a low temperature Notice! The smart thermostat head can be connected to up to 3 wireless devices (such as the HomeWizard, a remote control or a sensor). When the memory is full, (FULL) appears on the display. Refer to Chapter 9 for more information. 1 Keep the Menu button pressed until Pro appears on the display. 2 Choose rfs by turning the dial button. Notice! Make sure that you choose rfs and not res. When you chose res and follow the steps below, you reset the smart thermostat head to the factory settings. 3 Press the OK button. The smart thermostat head arrives in the coupling position. Within 30 seconds a remote control can be coupled or decoupled. 4 Perform one of the following actions: a. Press one of the ON buttons to couple the remote control. When a beep sounds, the remote control has been coupled. b. Press one of the OFF buttons to decouple the remote control. When a beep sounds, the remote control has been decoupled. c. Press the ALL OFF button to disconnect all remote controls. When a beep sounds, all remote controls have been decoupled Operate the smart thermostat head with a remote control 1 Set the preferred smart thermostat head to a high and low temperature. See sub-section for more information. 2 Perform one of the following actions: 3 Press the ON button to connect the smart thermostat head to the high adjusted temperature. 4 Press the OFF button to connect the smart thermostat head to the low adjusted temperature Disconnect all remote control devices via the smart thermostat head 1 Keep the Menu button pressed until Pro appears on the display. 2 Choose UnL by turning the dial button. 3 Press the OK button. The smart thermostat head waits in the coupling position. Within 30 seconds the smart thermostat head can be linked-up with the HomeWizard app. 5 On the upper left corner of the screen, press the Menu button (the three lines above each other). 17 8 Press Radiator valve Name. Fill in a preferred name for the device and press OK (Android) or Ready (ios). 9 Press Code and then press Generate new code. A beep sounds, and the smart thermostat head is linked up with HomeWizard. 10 Press the check mark in the upper right of the screen. The smart thermostat head has been added to the HomeWizard app and is to be found on the home screen under Thermostat head.. Perform the above steps for the other heating controller. See paragraph 8.7 for adding a remote control How do I set the temperature? 1 On the Home screen of the HomeWizard app press Thermostat head. A dropdown menu appears with the smart thermostat head added by you. 2 Tap on the name of the preferred thermostat head. A pop-up appears. 3 Move your finger across the screen to choose the correct temperature. 4 Press Set to set the temperature How do I enable or disable the smart thermostat head? 1 On the Home screen of the HomeWizard app press Thermostat head. A dropdown menu appears with the smart thermostat head added by you. 2 Perform one of the following actions: a. Press the icon to connect the smart thermostat head to the high adjusted temperature. b. Press the icon to connect the smart thermostat head to the low adjusted temperature. 7.4 Other HomeWizard applications You can also use the smart thermostat head in combination with actions, timers and scenes! 1 Actions: if you also linked a thermometer to your HomeWizard, then, in one and the same action you can also set the thermostat head to switch on by itself when a particular temperature has been measured. 2 Timers: add a timer to the thermostat head in the HomeWizard app to let it go to a certain temperature at a desired point in time. 3 Scenes: add several thermostat heads to a scene so that with one press of the button, you can provide all thermostat heads with the same preferred temperature simultaneously. 8 Maintenance The product is maintenance-free, so do not open it. The warranty shall lapse if you open the product. Check once a month whether the fixing ring is properly fixed. Bolt the fixing ring tight if it is loose.
