Here you can find some useful information, which will make your stay more convenient. Take also an umbrella with you. In case the students would like to go to the swimming pool, please bring bathing shorts with you. There is an indoor swimming pool in the city centre. During your stay, bed linen will be provided for free. Please bring a towel with you. Please take your student card with you. You may have to show it in combination with your tram ticket. Furthermore, admission fees to museums and other places are cheaper for students. On Monday morning (8:00) our colleague will pick you up at the hostel and bring you to the WBS Training AG. You will receive 2 weekly tickets for public transport for the two weeks of your stay. Please remember to bring it always with you, because inspectors check the ticket frequently. In case you forget it in the hostel, the fine is really high! You will have to pay the fine by yourself! Please take a small photograph with you (only applicable for students), which you need for the tickets of the public transport. Otherwise the tickets are not valid. You are allowed to use the internet at the WBS for free. The hostel also provides free internet access.

We ensure you that we will do our best to keep the visits and appointments. Programme dates can always change because of organizational reasons.

4 Accommodation You will stay at: Guest House of the SBG (Sächsische Bildungsgesellschaft Chemieberufe) Händelallee Dresden Phone: / The hostel is located not far from the city centre and very close to the river Elbe. Please have a look at the map: New Town Old Town Catering You will have breakfast and dinner in your hostel. On the day of arrival the dinner will be provided about 7 pm. At arrival please confirm the daily times for breakfast and dinner with the staff of the hostel. We suggest having breakfast at 7:15 am and dinner at 6:30 pm. You will get your lunch at the Buffet-Restaurant canteen close to WBS training centre. During the lessons at the WBS water is provided for free. For the weekend, you will receive pocket money for lunch and dinner (20 per person). Please do not take the water bottles out of the house, as there is a deposit on each bottle. Furthermore, it is not allowed to eat in the class rooms.

5 Sightseeing The main attractions of Dresden are in the historic centre (like Zwinger, Frauenkirche, Semperoper, etc). In 6 min. walk distance from your hostel there is a bus stop Johannstadt. Take the bus Nr. 62 in the direction to Dölzschen, or Löbtau Süd till Pirnaischer Platz. It takes 12 min. to get there.

6 How to get to WBS Training AG: Our address is: WBS TRAINING AG Hugo-Junkers-Ring Dresden How to get there: Please walk from your hostel to the bus station Johannstadt and take the bus Nr. 62 (direction to Löbtau Süd, or to Dölzschen) till Pirnaischer Platz. From this stop take the tram Nr.7 (in direction to Weixdorf). You go off the tram at the stop Industriepark Klotzsche. As you can see in the picture below, from the tram station you have to walk some minutes to the right direction and then walk through the entrance of MicroPolis and turn right. You have to walk until the end of the road and you ll see the building of the WBS TRAINING AG. Please use entrance M. Of course, on the first day, I will pick you up from the hostel in order to show you the right way. It takes you about 55 min. to get to the WBS Training Centre.
