The RE Sub Group 2 works on RE technologies, business models, (Mini) Grid solutions as well as RE storage.

Focus of India in the RE Sector - Among other nations India is in the lead in the development of large-scale programmes that address the dual challenges of energy access and sustainability energy supply. - There are national strategies ( National Action Plan on Climate Change ) and Instruments ( National Solar Mission ) in place to support PV and CSP deployment. - On state level there are further measures like Renewable Purchase Obligations (RPO) and Feed in Tarifs (FIT) for different Technologies.
