2 Dear colleagues, We like to welcome you to Munich`s second nephrology Continuing Medical Education (CME) event that we organize on behalf of the European Renal Association- European Dialysis and Transplant Association, ERA-EDTA. The topic of this year s CME course will be ANCA-associated vasculitis. We are proud of bringing the most designated experts on the various aspects of the pathogenesis, pathology, and clinical management of ANCA vasculitis to Munich. Their lectures should be highly informative to junior or senior nephrologists and rheumatologists as well as to vasculitis experts from other specialties. The schedule will offer sufficient time to discuss, e.g. during the meet-the-professor sessions. Funding by ERA-EDTA allows us to enjoy an industry-independent CME course at no registration costs for all participants. Furthermore, ERA-EDTA offers few travel grants for nephrologists <35 years of age. Applications can be sent to the registration address. We kindly ask you to make your own arrangements for travel, accommodation, and lunch. Limited pre-booked hotel space is available for registered participants and will be offered on a first come-first served basis. The course will take place at the time and in walking distance of the world-famous Oktoberfest, which anyway brings together non-nephrologists from all over the world.
