Automatic version with multi-sensor (fixed): Advantage: the automatical dimming of the artificial light to any changes of daylight and the presence detection result in an energy saving up to 70%. Constant light management: A daylight sensor in the lighting head dims the system to any adjusted constant light level automatically. Presence detection: The sensor switches the luminaire automatically ON/OFF when a person is entering/leaving the room (detected zone approx. 4-5 m Ø). The delay until switching off is about 15 min. 3 operating modes: Fully automatic, half-automatic (i.e. switching ON again only hand-operated = 'holiday switching') and manual set. Programming of the constant light level and choice of the operating mode by means of a multi-functional push button in the lighting head. Special version with a sole light sensor, i.e. constant light management as described above, but without presence detection Automatic version with multi-sensor III (adjustable): As ddcp, but the position of the sensor is adjustable three-dimensionally by a movable ball bearing. The mode is indicated by a LED integrated in the sensor. Advantage: The sensor is adjustable precisely to the task area of the workplace. DALI Digital Addressable Lighting Interface DALI ist eine einheitliche, herstellerunabhängige Schnittstellendefinition für die digitale Kommunikation zwischen einem Steuergerät und den EVG's. DALI ist in erster Linie für die komfortable Lichtsteuerung eines Raumes konzipiert. Im Vordergrund steht die unkomplizierte Bedienung der Beleuchtungsanlage, mit allen daran beteiligten Komponenten. Als Schnittstellen-Standard ist DALI die Grundlage für raumbezogene Lichtmanagementsysteme wie z.b.: Tageslichtabhängige Konstantlichtregelung. Schaffung abrufbereiter situationsabhängiger Lichteinstellungen (Lichtszenen) für beliebig definierbare Leuchtengruppen. Einfaches Ändern und Speichern von Einstellungen durch den Anwender. Integration in Gebäudemanagementsysteme, wo zusätzlich neben zentralen Schaltvorgängen auch Zustandsmeldungen gefordert sind. DALI ist also ein ebenso flexibles wie einfaches System, das sich - im Gegensatz zu klassischen Bussystemen - mit wenigen, kostengünstigen Komponenten, geringem Verdrahtungsaufwand und anwenderfreundlichem Bedienkonzept auf die raumbezogene Lichtsteuerung konzentriert. DALI is a non-proprietary standard, independent from single manufacturers defining an interface for digital communication between a controller and the HF-ballasts. DALI has been designed primarily to provide a convenient means of controlling the lighting in a room. The main concern was to ensure the lighting system and all the associated components could be operated as easily as possible. As an interface standard, DALI forms the basis for complete room-related lighting management systems, e.g. as follows: Daylight-dependent lighting control (constant light). Possibility of calling up different light settings for different situations (stored as lighting scenes) for the luminaires of a room which can be combined into groups optionally. At the same time, it is easy for users to change these settings and store new ones. Integration into building management systems because status messages are needed in addition to central switching operations. Therefore, DALI is - in contrast to classic bus-systems - a system that is a versatile and easy to use, a system with just a few low-cost components, minimal wiring and a user-friendly operating concept that focuses on lighting control to suit the particular room and the activities in that room. 22
