2 Das MLB Camp ist ein Jugendsportcamp, das seit 1996 vom Wiener Baseball- und Softballverein SUPERFUND Wanderers veranstaltet wird. Es bietet Kindern und Jugendlichen alljährlich zu Beginn der Sommerferien die Möglichkeit, Baseball kennen zu lernen und zu spielen. Für die Betreuung der NachwuchsspielerInnen konnten internationale Coaches und ehemalige MLB-Profis (Rick Bosetti, Dug Ault und Dick Schofield) gewonnen werden, die neben sportlichem Engagement auch internationales Flair auf die ASKÖ Sportanlage Spenadlwiese im Prater bringen. Nicht zuletzt ihre Teilnahme machte das Camp in ganz Europa bekannt. The MLB Camp is a youth sport camp that is organized by the Baseball and Softball Club SUPERFUND Wanderers since It gives children and young adults the chance to get to know and play the game of Baseball at the beginning of summer school break. The SUPERFUND Wanderers have been able to recruit international coaches and former MLB- Professionals (Rick Bosetti, Dug Ault and Dick Schofield) to coach the youth players. Besides their dedication to the sport they also brought international flair to the ASKÖ Spenadlwiese in the Prater. It is thanks to their participation that has made this camp known throughout Europe.

3 Das MLB Camp findet in der ersten Woche der Sommerferien von Montag bis Freitag auf den Baseballplätzen der ASKÖ Sportanlage Spenadlwiese im Wiener Prater statt. Die Kinder und Jugendlichen werden mit Essen und Getränken versorgt. Als Grundausrüstung erhält jede/r TeilnehmerIn ein T-Shirt mit einem Aufdruck des Camplogos. The MLB Camp takes place during the first week of school summer break from Monday to Friday on the ASKÖ Spenadlwiese in the Prater. Drinks and snacks will be provided to the players. Each participant will receive a T-Shirt with the camp logo on it. Ihrem Alter und ihrer Spielerfahrung entsprechend werden die Kinder und Jugendlichen in Gruppen eingeteilt und von einem professionellen Coach und einem Assistenten betreut. The players will be put into groups based on their age and baseball experience and will be practicing with a professional coach and an assistant.

4 BASEBALL FUN CAMP von 6. bis 10. Juli 2009 Montag bis Donnerstag: 9 bis 15 Uhr Freitag: 9 bis 13 Uhr Programm Vormittag (Montag bis Freitag): Training in Gruppen mit MLB-Coaches und professionellen Assistenten Nachmittag (Montag bis Donnerstag): Verschiedene Spiele und Aktivitäten rund um den Baseballsport (geplant: Erstellen einer Camp-Zeitung, kleine Baseball-Regelkunde mit Quiz, ) Auf Wunsch wird eine Beaufsichtigung bis 16:00 Uhr angeboten. Am Freitag findet nach dem Mittagessen um ca. 13:00 Uhr die Abschlusszeremonie statt, bei der die Kinder eine Urkunde erhalten. Danach endet das Camp. für Kinder und Schüler von 6 12 Jahren Verpflegung Vormittagsjause (Wurst und Käsebrote, Semmeln, Obst, Getränke) Warmes Mittagessen und Getränk in der Kantine der ASKÖ Sportanlage Spenadlwiese. Weitere Leistungen T-Shirt mit Aufdruck des Camplogos Camp Zertifikat Teilnahme an einer kleinen Tombola Kosten (alle angeführten Leitungen inbegriffen) 120,- bei Anmeldung und Einzahlung bis 29.Juni 2009, 90,- für jedes weitere Familienmitglied 140,- bei Anmeldung danach, 110,- für jedes weitere Familienmitglied 90,- für Mitglieder der SUPERFUND Wanderers, 60,- für jedes weitere Familienmitglied Eine Abmeldung mit Rückerstattung der Gebühr ist nur bis zum 29. Juni 2009 möglich. Eine Rückerstattung bei tageweiser Teilnahme ist nicht möglich.

5 BASEBALL FUN CAMP July 6 th to 10 th 2009 Monday to Thursday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Program Mornings (Monday to Friday) Baseball practice with MLB Coaches and Assistance Meals For girls and boys from age 6 to 12 Afternoon (Monday to Thursday) Various non-baseball games and activities plus a camp newspaper and a small baseball rules course If needed we can also provide care until 16:00 from Monday to Thursday. On Friday after lunch their will be a small closing ceremony around 13:00 where each participant will receive a certificate. Morning Break (Meat and Cheese sandwiches, Fruit and Drinks) A warm lunch will be served each day in the ASKÖ Spenadlwiese Kantine Other Information T-Shirt for each participant with the Camp Logo Camp Certificate A ticket in a small Tombola Costs 120,- when you register and pay before June 29th, 2009, 90,- for each additional brother/sister 140,- when you register after June 29th, 2009, 110,- for each additional brother/sister 90,- for members of the SUPERFUND Wanderers Club, 60,- for each additional brother/sister

Juli 2009 Montag bis Donnerstag: Uhr Training in Gruppen mit Major League Coaches, dem österreichischen Bundestrainer und Spielern des Nationalteams Verpflegung mit Getränken und Snacks Teilnahmegebühr: 60,- für Jugendliche von Jahren BASEBALL ELITE CAMP from July, 6 th to 9 th 2009 For young adults from age 13 to 18 Monday to Thursday: 1-4 p.m. Practice in groups with Major League Coaches, coach and players from the Austrian National team Snacks and drinks Costs: 60,- Teilnehmer am Baseball Elite Camp haben die Chance Österreich beim World Sports Festival, das vom Juli auf der Spenadlwiese ausgetragen werden wird, zu repräsentieren. Die Coaches werden im Lauf der Woche die besten Spieler auswählen, um am Turnier teilzunehmen. Participants in the Elite Camp will get a chance to represent Austrian at the World Sports Festival which is being held on the Spenadlwiese from the 10th to the 12th of July. Coaches will pick during the week the top players from the Camp to take part in the tournament. B o n u s
