Press Release Chemnitz, February 6 th, 2014 Customer-specific software for autonomous driving and driver assistance (ADAS) With the new product line Baselabs Modules, developers of autonomous vehicles and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) get access to customer-specific software for several use cases in prototyping and test environments. The new offering allows a significant reduction of the development time. Baselabs Modules are available for multiple use cases, e.g. multi-sensor data logging or sensor data fusion. The modules include tool boxes for usage with established development frameworks as well as standalone applications. The customers receive ready-to-use software that is specific to their needs. With Baselabs Modules, automotive developers have the opportunity to increase the speed of their projects by implementing ready-to-use software modules into their design process that are specific for their requirements. Baselabs Modules are an answer to increasing system complexity and short time-to-market requirements. Applications in advanced engineering and function development BASELABS Modules encompass different products that provide a quick solution to certain challenges, e.g. the implementation of a realistic and reliable environment perception in function development, before the final environment perception is available. This results in a time advantage in function development. Software for several further use cases is available, e.g. sensor data fusion, multiple object detection and tracking (MOT), precise vehicle localization, lane recognition and occupancy grids. Applications in test and evaluation A common application for Baselabs Modules in test and evaluation is data logging for systems with arbitrary sensors. The modules can be adjusted to a variety of setups with different sensors and data formats. Further applications include the use in Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) environments. Exemplary use cases are
