2 Question 1 [Total: 20 marks] Read the text below carefully and answer the questions. Das Leben auf dem Bauernhof Herr Renken ist Bauer und hat einen Bauernhof in Bayern. Der Tag beginnt immer sehr früh für ihn und seine Frau. Jeden Tag stehen sie um 4.30 Uhr auf, auch samstags und sonntags, denn die Kühe schlafen nicht länger am Wochenende! Zuerst trinkt Herr Renken eine Tasse Kaffee und isst ein Brötchen. Dann geht er mit seiner Frau in den Stall. Zusammen müssen sie jeden Tag 60 Kühe melken. Sie schaffen das jetzt in einer Stunde mit der Melkmaschine. Sie haben vor drei Jahren die Melkmaschine gekauft. Sie macht die Arbeit viel leichter. Die Renkens haben zwei Kinder, Martha und Marcus. Sie gehen noch zur Schule. Martha ist 15, Marcus erst 12. Martha will später keine Bäuerin werden sie will Jura studieren und in der Stadt arbeiten. Marcus möchte aber Bauer werden wie sein Vater. Er lernt schon wie alles auf dem Bauernhof funktioniert. Nach dem Melken weckt Frau Renken die Kinder. Die Familie isst zusammen Frühstück. Um Viertel nach sieben verlassen die Kinder das Haus und fahren mit dem Bus zur Schule. Die Fahrt dauert vierzig Minuten. Ihre Eltern arbeiten den ganzen Tag auf dem Bauernhof. Herr Renken repariert die Maschinen und macht den Stall sauber. Dann arbeitet er auf dem Feld. Seine Frau füttert die Schweine und Hühner und macht auch die Hausarbeit. Um halb drei sind die Kinder zurück. Nachmittags helfen sie ihren Eltern mit der Arbeit. Abends sitzt die Familie im Wohnzimmer und sieht fern oder liest.
