1 PRESS RELEASE PEGAS: Successful launch of time spread products Paris, 25 January 2017 PEGAS, the pan-european gas trading platform operated by Powernext, announces the successful introduction of time spread products on its PEGAS Futures hubs (CEGH VTP, GASPOOL, NBP, NCG, PEG Nord, PSV, TTF and ZEE) on 24 January The new contracts are available via the Trayport Exchange Trading System (ETS), as well as the Straight Through Processing (STP) registration service for OTC trades. On the first day, a total volume of 3.5 TWh was traded on the new products. 61 transactions were made by 38 different members, including all maturities (months, quarters, seasons and calendar years), mainly on the PEGAS CEGH VTP, PSV and TTF market areas. All trades were cleared through European Commodity Clearing, the central clearing house of the EEX Group. Richard Katz, Director of Sales at Powernext, comments: Time spread trading is an important enhancement requested by our members. The introduction of the new contracts is a great success so far. With these products, the market participants are now able to trade the difference between the prices of two contracts of the same maturity with different delivery periods within the same market area.

3 PRESSEMITTEILUNG PEGAS: Erfolgreicher Start der Time-Spread- Produkte Paris, 25. Januar Die von Powernext betriebene paneuropäische Gashandelsplattform PEGAS bestätigt die erfolgreiche Einführung der Time-Spread- Produkte auf den PEGAS Futures Hubs (CEGH VTP, GASPOOL, NBP, NCG, PEG Nord, PSV, TTF und ZEE) am 24. Januar Die neuen Kontrakte sind über das Trayport Exchange Trading System (ETS) sowie den Straight-Through-Processing (STP) Registration Service für OTC Transaktionen verfügbar. In den neuen Produkten wurde schon am ersten Tag ein Gesamtvolumen von 3,5 TWh gehandelt. 61 Transaktionen, einschließlich aller Fälligkeiten (Monate, Quartale, Saisons und Kalenderjahre), wurden von 38 Mitgliedern im Wesentlichen in den PEGAS TTF und PSV Marktgebieten gehandelt. Sämtliche Transaktionen wurden über die European Commodity Clearing, das zentrale Clearinghaus der EEX Gruppe, gecleart. Richard Katz, Direktor Sales bei Powernext, erklärt dazu: Der Handel mit Time-Spread- Kontrakten ist eine wichtige, von unseren Teilnehmern geforderte Erweiterung unseres Angebots. Die Einführung der neuen Kontrakte zeigt sich bisher als großer Erfolg. Mit diesen Produkten können die Marktteilnehmer innerhalb eines Marktgebietes nunmehr die Preisdifferenz zwischen zwei Kontrakten handeln, die zwar die gleiche Fälligkeit haben, aber unterschiedliche Lieferfristen.

5 COMMUNIQUE DE PRESSE PEGAS : Lancement réussi des produits spreads temporels Paris, le 25 janvier 2017 La plateforme paneuropéenne de négociation du gaz PEGAS, opérée par Powernext, annonce le lancement réussi des produits temporels (time spreads) sur ses hubs PEGAS Futures (CEGH VTP, GASPOOL, NBP, NCG, PEG Nord, PSV, TTF and ZEE) le 24 janvier Les nouveaux contrats sont disponibles sur la plateforme de négociation Trayport Exchange Trading System (ETS), ainsi qu à travers son service d enregistrement pour les intérêts hors-carnet (STP Straight Through Processing). Pour ce premier jour, un volume total de 3,5 TWh a été négocié sur ces nouveaux produits. 61 transactions ont été effectuées par 38 membres différents sur toutes les maturités disponibles (mois, trimestres, saisons and année calendaires), principalement sur les zones de marché autrichienne CEGH VTP, italienne PSV et néerlandaise TTF. Les transactions ont été compensées par European Commodity Clearing, la chambre de compensation centrale du groupe EEX. Richard Katz, Directeur commercial de Powernext, déclare : «la négociation des produits time spreads est une amélioration demandée par nos membres. L introduction des nouveaux contrats a été un succès. Avec ces produits, les participants au marché sont maintenant capables de traiter la différence entre les prix de deux contrats de la même maturité sur des périodes de livraison différentes et dans la même zone de livraison.»
