1 EPEX SPOT Announces New Management Structure APX staff integrated into European Power Exchange Amsterdam / Paris, 1 October 2015 The European Power Exchange EPEX SPOT, together with APX, today announces the merger of their governance structures. As a result, René Kerkmeester, CEO of APX, and James Matthys-Donnadieu, CEO of Belpex and Chief Operating Officer of APX, have stepped down as of 1 October Both have been instrumental in the success of merging APX and EPEX SPOT. Since the announcement of the integration of APX and EPEX SPOT in April 2015, a parallel governance structure has been in place, and has now been replaced by a single EPEX SPOT Management and Supervisory Board. The APX Management and Supervisory Boards have been released from their duties. From today onwards, APX staff is part of EPEX SPOT. The new Management Board of EPEX SPOT is composed of three members. Next to Jean- François Conil-Lacoste as Chairman of the Management Board and Thierry Morello as Chief Operating Officer and Vice-Chairman of the Board, Jeroen van den Heuvel joined the Board as Chief Financial Officer in May 2015 to replace Iris Weidinger. 3 EPEX SPOT mit neuer Management-Struktur Belegschaft der APX in die Europäische Strombörse integriert Amsterdam / Paris, 1. Oktober 2015 Die Europäische Strombörse EPEX SPOT kündigt heute gemeinsam mit der APX die Zusammenführung ihrer Managementstrukturen an. In der Folge sind René Kerkmeester, Chief Executive Officer der APX, und James Matthys- Donnadieu, Chief Executive Officer der Belpex und Chief Operating Officer der APX, zum 1. Oktober 2015 zurückgetreten. Beide haben entscheidend zur erfolgreichen Verschmelzung der APX und der EPEX SPOT beigetragen. Seit der Ankündigung der Integration beider Unternehmen im April 2015 war eine parallele Unternehmensführung in Kraft. Diese wurde nun durch einen einzigen Vorstand und Aufsichtsrat der EPEX SPOT ersetzt. Vorstand und Aufsichtsrat der APX sind von ihren Pflichten entlassen. Vom heutigen Tag an ist die Belegschaft der APX Teil der EPEX SPOT. Der neue Vorstand der EPEX SPOT besteht aus drei Personen. Neben Jean-François Conil- Lacoste als Vorstandsvorsitzendem und Thierry Morello als Chief Operating Officer und stellvertretendem Vorstandsvorsitzenden stieß im Mai Jeroen van den Heuvel als Chief Financial Officer dazu und folgte auf Iris Weidinger. Direktor Dr. Dr. Tobias Paulun hat den Vorstand der EPEX SPOT zum 1. Oktober verlassen. 5 EPEX SPOT annonce la restructuration de son management Le personnel d APX intégré dans la bourse européenne de l électricité Amsterdam / Paris, le 1er octobre 2015 La bourse européenne de l électricité EPEX SPOT annonce aujourd hui conjointement avec APX la fusion de leurs structures de gouvernance. En conséquence, René Kerkmeester, Directeur général d APX, et James Matthys-Donnadieu, Directeur général de Belpex et Directeur des opérations d APX, cessent leurs fonctions à compter du 1 er octobre Ils ont tous deux contribué au succès de la fusion d APX et d EPEX SPOT. Depuis l annonce de l intégration d APX dans EPEX SPOT en avril 2015, un système de gouvernance parallèle était resté en place. A présent, seul le système de gouvernance d EPEX SPOT a été conservé. Le Conseil de Surveillance et le Directoire d APX ont cessé leurs fonctions. A compter d aujourd hui, le personnel d APX fait partie d EPEX SPOT. Le nouveau Directoire d EPEX SPOT se compose de trois membres. Aux côtés de Jean- François Conil-Lacoste, Président du Directoire et de Thierry Morello, Directeur général adjoint et Vice-président du Directoire, Jeroen van den Heuvel a rejoint le Directoire en mai 2015 en tant que Directeur financier, en remplacement d Iris Weidinger.
