4 1. Introduction MT-PM-01 is an all call microphone. It is used to make all call announcements. The priority is the same as MIC 1. Non lock PTT (push to talk) switch for normal speech, the lock key is used for long period of speech. RJ45 terminal to insert cable and connect with MIC1 of MT-AMP A flexible microphone stem is convenient for table top announcements. 2. Features Flexible microphone stem is convenient for table top announcements. Lock and Non lock PTT switch are convenient for long or short period speech. MT-PM-01 can be easily used with MT-AMP Top side 1. Goose Neck condenser Microphone An unidirectional condenser microphone to pick up signal. 5 2. PTT Non lock switch PTT switch is non lock type, pushing the PTT switch, the chime signal will sound, then the user can do the paging. Note: Chime signal is generated by main unit itself, it is not done by the MT-PM-01 callstation. 3. Talk LED If you press this button to Talk, the green LED lights up. If another higher priority signal source is speaking, then the unit will be set to standby. When the higher priority signal is gone, the unit will release the chime signal first, then the paging can be done. The LED will be off when the speech is finished. 4. Lock switch If the user likes to have a long paging period, press the Lock switch. The switch will be locked and the user don t has to press continuously the Talk button. Press again to release the switch and stop the announcement. 5. Lock LED Indicator The lock LED will light up in green colour to indicate that the switch is locked. When the lock switch is released, the LED will be off again. 4. Rear side 1. RJ45 terminal The RJ45 terminal is used to link the callstation with the RJ45 terminal of the MT-AMP 1000 (MIC1). 6 5. Installation 1. Unpack package Open the package box and take out the unit. Please check the accessories. 2. Connect with MT-AMP 1000 Insert the cable to the RJ45 terminal (6) and MIC1 of main unit Press PTT key a. The unit will check the priority first. If there is not other higher priority signal existing, the chime signal will sound first. b. If there is other higher priority signal existing, the unit will stand by. As soon as the higher priority signal source does not exist anymore, the unit will play the chime first, then announcements can me made. c. Release the PTT key, the unit will finish the announcement and stop. The LED will be off Press lock key a. The lock key will be activated and the lock LED lights up. b. The operation of the unit will be the same as described above. d. Press again to release the locked key, the unit will stop the announcemebt and the lock LED will be off EN 6 GmbH

12 1. Einführung MT-PM-01 ist eine Sammelrufsprechstelle für den MT-AMP Die Priorität ist die gleiche wie MIC 1. Ausgestattet mit einem flexiblen Schwanenhals und einem Kondensator-Mikrofon bietet die Sprechstelle einfache Handhabung und hohe Durchsagenqualität. Die einrastende Lock- Taste bietet Komfort für längere Durchsagen. Die Sprechstelle wird an der RJ45 Buchse des MT-AMP 1000 angeschlossen (MIC1). 2. Features Modern gestaltete Sprechstelle, mit stabilem Kunststoffgehäuse. Sammelruftaste All Call Drücken Sie die Sammelruftaste um eine Durchsage in alle Zonen zu machen. Alle Zonen werden durch eine leuchtende LED angezeigt. Einfacher Anschluss an den Mischverstärker MT-AMP Vorderseite Sprechstelle 1. Schwanenhals-Kondensatormikrofon DT 4 GmbH

13 2. Sammelruftaste Die Sammelruftaste (PTT = push to talk) ermöglicht Durchsagen in die Lautsprecherzonen. Vor der Durchsage wird ein Gongsignal aktiviert. Hinweis: Das Gong-Signal wird durch den MT-AMP 1000 generiert, nicht durch die Sprechstelle. 3. Sammelruftaste All Call / -LED Drücken Sie die Sammelruftaste um alle Zonen auszuwählen. Die ausgewählten Zonen werden jeweils durch eine leuchtende LED signalisiert. Die Sprechstelle prüft die Priorität. Liegt eine höher Priorität einer anderen Sprechstelle vor, wechselt die MT-PM-01 in den Standby-Modus. Ist die Durchsage der Sprechstelle mit höher Priorität beendet, wird die MT-PM-01 aus dem Standby-Modus reaktiviert. 4. Lock-Taste / Lock-LED Die Lock-Taste ist eine einrastende Taste. Sie kann verwendet werden um längere Durchsagen bequem zu realisieren. Einmaliges Drücken lässt die Taste einrasten, bei erneutem Drücken wird die Taste wieder gelöst. 5. Lock-LED Eine leuchtende LED zeigt Ihnen an, dass die Lock-Taste eingerastet ist. Nach erneutem Drücken der Lock-Taste, erlischt die LED und signalisiert dass die Lock-Taste nicht mehr eingerastet ist. 4. Rückseite der Sprechstelle 1. RJ45 Buchse Die Sprechstelle wird per CAT5-Kabel über die RJ45 Buchse mit der RJ45 Buchse des MT-AMP 1000 angeschlossen (MIC1). DT 5 GmbH

14 5. Installation 1. Öffnen Sie die Verpackung. Nehmen Sie aus Gerät vorsichtig aus der Verpackung. Prüfen Sie den Packungsinhalt. Lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung vor der Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes. 2. Verbinden Sie die Sprechstelle mit dem Mischverstärker MT-AMP 1000 per CAT5-Kabel. Verbinden Sie das Kabel der Sprechstelle mit der RJ45 Buchse des MT-AMP 1000 (MIC 1) Drücken Sie die Sammelruftaste (PTT) Drücken Sie die Sammelruftaste (PTT) um Durchsagen in alle Zonen durchzuführen. Die Sprechstelle prüft vor Aktivierung der Zonen die Prioritätseinstellung. Sollte eine andere Sprechstelle mit höher Priorität gerade aktiv sein, so wird die Sprechstelle in den Standby-Modus versetzt, die LED leuchtet rot. Um die Durchsage zu beenden, die Sprechtaste nicht mehr gedrückt halten, die LED erlischt. Die Lock-Taste ist eine einrastende Taste. Sie kann verwendet werden um längere Durchsagen bequem zu realisieren. Einmaliges Drücken lässt die Taste einrasten, bei erneutem Drücken wird die Taste wieder gelöst. Die Lock-Taste verhält sich somit wie eine dauerhaft gedrückte Sammelruftaste (PTT). DT 6 GmbH
