1 Offenes Lernen 3: Pflichtaufgaben 1. Help Rotta Rotta has to do a project. She has to talk about a school on Earth: Our school (Textbook, page 59, exercise 8). You can work with a partner. Rotta muss ein Projekt durchführen. Sie muss eine Schule im Unterricht vorstellen: Unsere Schule (Textbook, Seite 59, Übung 8). Du kannst mit einem Partner arbeiten. a) Write at least six questions into your exercise book. (Look at your Textbook for ideas) Show the questions to your teacher. Schreibe mindestens sechs Fragen in dein Heft und zeige sie deinem Lehrer bevor du weiterarbeitest. b) Use your questions to interview at least five students from your school (they may be from other classes or the other English group). Befrage jetzt fünf Schüler deiner Schule sie dürfen auch aus anderen Klassen / der anderen Englischgruppe sein. c) Prepare a presentation. Use graphics to show your results on a poster and write a short text explaining your results. Bereite eine Präsentation vor. 2 a) First match your words in box A with the words in box B and write the phrases in your exercise book. Finde die jeweils zusammenpassenden Wörter aus A und B und schreibe die Phrasen in dein Schulübungsheft. b) Then choose a phrase and act it out. Can your partner guess what it is? Change roles and now guess your partner s phrase. How many of his phrases could you guess? Wähle nun eine Phrase und stelle sie pantomimisch dar. Dein Partner muss versuchen, sie zu erraten. Dann tauscht die Rollen und du versuchst, die Phrase deines Partners zu erraten. Wie viele seiner Phrasen konntest du erraten? 4. Question time Match the cards and write the sentences in your exercise book. Finde die Karten, die zusammenpassen und schreibe die Sätze in dein Schulübungsheft. 5. Schreibe die Wörter und die Erklärungen in dein Vokabelheft. 9. Guided writing Use the grid on the next page to write a short story. 4 9. Guided writing A short story 1. The situation e.g. It was a dark and stormy evening. It was raining and lightning was flashing across the sky. 2. Who was there? What were they doing? e.g. Carol and Rachel were sitting in the living room. They were studying for their maths test. 3. What happened? e.g. Suddenly, Carol heard a noise from outside. She looked up. She couldn t see anything. Then she heard it again. This time it was louder and Rachel heard it too. Carol was afraid she wanted to go upstairs, away from the garden door. 4. What did the people do first? e.g. Rachel stood up and looked out of the garden door. It was dark outside but she could see something move. She opened the door and a dark wet creature jumped in. It was a little small cat. 5. How did people react then? e.g. Rachel and Carol gave the cat some ham. It was very hungry. They wanted to keep the cat. First, their mother said no but she soon fell in love with the cat, too. 6. The end e.g. Now Carol isn t afraid of noises in the dark anymore. Seite 4

Du kannst dir von diesen Aufgaben drei oder mehr auswählen, wenn du die Pfichtaufgaben erledigt hast. A The Mary Celeste a) Read the text in the Workbook on page 73. Decide what happened. Choose a role (captain, cook or sailor). Look at the pictures and answer the questions below. Lies den Text im Workbook auf Seite 73. Überlege was passiert ist. F Portfolio / Xtras / CD-ROM If you ve finished all the Pflichtstationen and at least three Freie Stationen, you can start on the second version of your portfolio or read one the Xtras (Textbook, pages ). Wenn du alle Pflichtstationen und mindestens drei freie Stationen erledigt hast, kannst du am zweiten Entwurf deines Portfolios arbeiten, einen Abschnitt in den Xtras lesen (Textbook, S ) oder die Übungen auf der CD-ROM machen.
