5 2.1 Traffic-related Measures / a) Traffic control Measures 30 kph speed limit zone 80% of the Munich road network is situated within 30 kph speed limit zones Parking Facility Management Introduction of parking license areas in all city districts within the Mittlerer Ring and in individual core areas outside the Mittlerer Ring Objective: Reduction of traffic in search for parking and - linked to that a reduction of pollutant and noise emissions RGU-UW 12 Folie 5

17 2.3 Funding Programs Funding Program Wohnen am Ring The funding program Wohnen am Ring is a program for granting funds in order to implement expensive noise protection measures for residential buildings. 18 2.3 Funding Programs Sound-insulating windows Program Promoting the installation of soundinsulating windows RGU-UW 12 Folie 18 the installation is supported in terms of 50 % from 1975 to 2003: 2,644 objects were supported (costs: 16 million ) the program was re-established in 2013 with a total funding volume of 810,000
