1 ZULASSUNGSPRÜFUNG postgraduate-universitätslehrgang für Orchesterdirigieren Zulassungsvoraussetzung Die Zulassung zu einem Postgraduate Universitätslehrgang setzt den Abschluss eines fachlich in Frage kommenden Master- oder Diplomstudiums oder eines anderen gleichwertigen Studiums an einer anerkannten inländischen oder ausländischen postsekundären Bildungseinrichtung voraus. Damit die Studiendirektorin/der Studiendirektor die Gleichwertigkeit des Vorstudiums prüfen kann, benötigen wir rechtzeitig zum Anmeldeschluss zusammen mit der online-anmeldung (=vollständiger Upload!) folgende Unterlagen: 1. BACHELORZEUGNIS und MASTERZEUGNIS oder ABSCHLUSSZEUGNIS eines gleichwertigen Studiums, falls das Studium bereits abgeschlossen wurde 2. INSKRIPTIONSBESTÄTIGUNG vom Master, falls das Studium noch nicht abgeschlossen wurde 3. FÄCHER- und NOTENÜBERSICHT von Bachelor und Master (Transcripts of Records) 4. OFFIZIELLE BESTÄTIGUNG DES HAUPTFACHES/INSTRUMENTES, sofern dieses nicht aus dem Abschlusszeugnis oder der Fächer- und Notenübersicht hervorgeht (z.b. Bachelor/Master of Music ist nicht ausreichend!) 5. OFFIZIELLE DEUTSCHE oder ENGLISCHE ÜBERSETZUNG der Dokumente unter Punkt 1-4 Unvollständige Bewerbungen werden nicht berücksichtigt! Erst nach Feststellung der Gleichwertigkeit des Vorstudiums durch die Studiendirektorin/den Studiendirektor erfolgt eine Einladung zur Zulassungsprüfung für den postgraduate Universitätslehrgang (via !) Dauer des Lehrgangs: Die Studiendauer beträgt 2 Semester 1 Version vom / hof PGL Orchesterdirigieren

3 Entrance examination Postgraduate University Course Orchestra Conducting Admission requirement Admission to a postgraduate university course is conditional on the successful completion of a relevant Master's programme, or other equivalent programme at a recognised domestic or foreign postsecondary educational institution. In order to verify the equivalence of your previous studies through the director of studies it is necessary to hand in the following documents in time at latest at the deadline of the online application (= complete upload of all documents!): 1. BACHELOR and MASTER DIPLOMA or FINAL DIPLOMA of an equivalent degree, if the study programme has already been finished. 2. OFFICIAL CONFIRMATION OF ENROLMENT of your Master, if the study programme has not been finished yet. 3. TRANSCRIPTS OF RECORDS of Bachelor and Master (= a list of all completed subjects and exams). 4. OFFICIAL CONFIRMATION OF THE MAIN SUBJECT/INSTRUMENT, if it is not clear from the diploma or from the transcript of records (e.g. Bachelor/Master of Music without any further specification is not sufficient!). 5. OFFICIAL TRANSLATION in GERMAN or ENGLISH of all documents listed under 1-4 APPLICATIONS THAT ARE NOT FILLED OUT COMPLETELY OR THAT LACK DOCUMENTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED! Only if your documents are verified as equivalent through the director of studies, you will receive an official invitation for the entrance examination (via !). 5 ZULASSUNGSPRÜFUNG DIRIGIEREN Nachfolgend wird das Zulassungsprüfungsprogramm 2018 für den Studienzweig ORCHESTERDIRIGIEREN mitgeteilt: Alle BewerberInnen müssen für die Zulassungsprüfung folgende Werke vorbereiten: 1. Joseph Haydn: Sinfonie Nr.44 Hoboken 1/44 2. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Sprecherszene aus Die Zauberflöte Jene BewerberInnen, die den ersten Studienabschnitt ihres Diplomstudiums Dirigieren oder ein Bachelorstudium bereits abgeschlossen haben und sich für den 2. Studienabschnitt des Diplomstudiums Orchesterdirigieren an der Universität Mozarteum bewerben, müssen zusätzlich zu den oben genannten Werken vorbereiten: Ludwig van Beethoven: Sinfonie Nr.5, 1.Satz Jene BewerberInnen, die bereits ein Diplom/Masterstudium Orchesterdirigieren oder einen gleichwertigen Studienabschluss nachweisen können und sich für den postgraduate Universitätslehrgang Dirigieren (Orchester) bewerben, müssen zusätzlich zu den vorher genannten Werken vorbereiten: Johannes Brahms: Sinfonie Nr.3, 1. Satz Haydn Sinfonie Nr.44 wird von einem vorher einstudierten Ensemble gespielt. Es soll durchdirigiert werden. Alle anderen Werke werden vierhändig an zwei Klavieren gespielt. ADMISSIONS EXAM in CONDUCTING The following information contains details of the admissions exam programme 2018 for the ORCHESTRA CONDUCTING study branch: All applicants must prepare the following works for the admissions exam: 1. Joseph Haydn: Sinfonie Nr.44 Hoboken 1/44 2. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Speaker Scene from "The Magic Flute" Those applicants who have already completed the first segment of the course of study leading to the diploma in Conducting or a Bachelor s study programme and are applying for the 2. course of study leading to a diploma in Conducting at the Mozarteum University must prepare the following additional works: Ludwig van Beethoven: Sinfonie Nr.5, 1st movement Those applicants who can provide evidence of a completed diploma or Master s study programme in Orchestra Conducting or an equivalent study degree and are applying for the post-graduate University degree programme in Conducting (Orchestra), must prepare the following additional works: Johannes Brahms: Symphony Nr. 3, 1st movement Haydn Sinfonie Nr.44 will be played by a previously rehearsed ensemble.
