Deutsch-Chinesischer Workshop SMART CITIES SMART CITIES Im Juni 2017 fand der deutsch-chinesische Workshop Smart Cities jeweils in Shanghai und Peking statt. Forscher aus China und Baden-Württemberg stellten aktuelle Projekte vor und diskutierten die Strategie und Konzepte der Smart Cities für die Zukunft in beiden Ländern. Der Follow-up Workshop 2018 wird vom 18.-19. April in Stuttgart stattfinden. Referenten aus chinesischen und baden-württembergischen Hochschulen, Forschungseinrichtungen und Unternehmen werden zu verschiedenen Themen referieren, z. B. - Smart environment analysis and protection in Shanghai City - Smart city and smart real estate with examples from Peking - Living Labs for Smarter Cities of Karlsruhe - Public Security based on Pedestrian Tracking in Smart City - Monitoring and modelling air quality using LoT technology - Practical applications for Smart Cities, methods, tool, evaluation, heritage restoration etc. Der Workshop wird von bw-i organisiert, in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT), der Beijing Information Science and Technology University (BISTU) und der Shanghai University (SHU). Daneben sind die Vertreter von Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW), Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering IAO, KIT und SmartCity.institute, die auf dem Workshop 2017 in Shanghai und Peking waren, auch im diesjährigen Workshop involviert. Vertreter der Shanghai Tongji University - der chinesische Kooperationsparter des KIT, wird auch am Workshop teilnehmen. Der Workshop wird vom 18.-19. April 2018 in Stuttgart stattfinden.
