7 MAKE IT HAPPEN how it all started April When it all started. We both had an idea: we wanted to create something of our own, something new and unusual within the ceramic district scenario, something built on concepts and ideas able to generate a rupture with the past. Within the crisis of the ceramic tile business, filled with mediocre and speculative attitudes, we ve always thought that aiming for clear and direct concepts could be the solution: Create a motivated team, made up of young people who are fighting for their future. Have a real specific communicative identity. Few and valid manufacturing partners. The pressure ain t on the sales, but to structure long term markets. Work more than the others, always. Nothing new: back to basics. The humbleness of simple concepts alongside of great professionals: this is Terratinta Ceramiche, and this is what we believe is the future of our industry. Not joking, he really was. When not in the office (?) he can be found purchasing the latest novelties on Apple Store. Formally: guitarist in a really great band. Actually: entrepreneur, experienced, professional, dedicated and (almost) always positive. When he s not working somewhere around Europe or in his cool office, you can find him on the stage playing some good stuff. Far East countries, US and Oceania area manager. Easy going, experienced and calm, accurate and reliable. Beside this, he loves Japanese food and he s a frequent wearer of ties (we tricked him when shooting this pic!). He hates being stuck in traffic. French countries-area manager. Problem solver, tireless team player often on his own in his trips to/from France and around. 9 Executive Assistant: it s her job to keep things running smoothly as butter cream. And things run pretty damn good around here. Maybe because she s also a cake designer. You can t go wrong when you can bake perfect cupcakes and decorate unbelievably complex cakes. And she can. Our prompt, dedicated, skilled customer care trio. Except for their accurate and caring attitude, these three gorgeous are pretty much different: one is a gym addicted and bags serial collector, the other one is a bubbling and enthusiastic world traveller, the other one is the embodiment of precision, speed and methodical. Together, they rock! As the creative designer, she doesn t just think outside the box, she lives there. Crazy about all things creative, she s always busy designing something new. Professional food lover, smile practitioner, TV series aficionada. She makes things happen. Logistics, suppliers and details are their friends. They eat accuracy, promptness and seriousness for breakfast. One of them two has more experience than us all, and talks aloud. 10 Every office needs a crazy cat lady: lucky us, we have two. And our ones have impeccable organizational skills, a wide knowledge of all things concerning administration, suppliers, datas and office management and a great sense of humour. One is also a mum! These two run the warehouse. Problem solvers, passionate, always full of positives vibes. She knows how to get the best out of people and how to deal with everyone and everything, he knows how to manage the stuff and the pallet in Via Montebianco. She s a mum, he s a dad. End of things in common. In their spare time, one can be found drinking good beer with his wife and wrestling with his boys, another one playing football and the last one with a drink on a dance floor. Daily, working their a** off in the warehouse. Always smiling, always on time. This is Pedro, for some reason known as the office cat. Pedro doesn t really work at Terratinta Ceramiche, and doesn t live here either. 81 FOUR SHADES CONCEPT The Four Shades Concept is a project designed starting from four colours of Betontech collection: WHITE, GREY, CLAY AND MUD. We worked on these fours shades and created a unique, fresh and unusual concept, where the porcelain tiles meet glass mosaics and listels, where a re-interpretation of graphic decoration meets the latest ceramic technologies.
