Episode 21 Ein neuer Plan Anna kehrt ins Jahr 2006 zurück. August 13, 1961, six twenty-five pm. You've got 40 minutes to complete your mission and get the case. Das Etui ist in Sicherheit. Niemand weiß, wo es ist. Außer mir! Somebody wants to help you. Es ist eine Zeitmaschine, wie in den Science-Fiction Filmen. Diese Zeitmaschine ist ein spezielles Modell. Sie reist nur in die Vergangenheit. You've got another destination. Am Abend des neunten November Erinnern Sie sich, Anna! You ve got to find the historic event that RATAVA wants to erase. Do you want to play? Do you want to play? Seite 1 von 7

Hi, I'm back. DECODAGE 1 Anna, you have to move quickly! You have to come back and go back again. We need that case! But what am I supposed to save? It's clearly not the construction of the wall. That came down ages ago! Exactly, it's the fall that RATAVA wants to stop! OK, I get it now: the key is in the division 1961. But the solution must be in 1989, right? Right. You've got to go to Berlin in 1989 to get the case. But to get there you first have to come back to 2006. Are you ready? And willing. SITUATION 1 Zeitreise Paul? Ja, Anna? Küss mich! Oh, Anna. Seite 2 von 7

Die Liebe versetzt Berge! Warning, the journey is starting. Journey completed. You re in Berlin, November 9, 2006, eleven forty am. SITUATION 2 Pastor Kavalier ist verschwunden Be careful, don't draw attention to yourself! What's all this fuss about? Policemen? Quick. Go and get the priest! He knows how the contraption works. Anna, da bist du ja endlich! Paul, warum ist die Polizei hier? Pastor Kavalier ist verschwunden. Verschwunden? The priest has disappeared? Die Frau in Rot und ihre Bande RATAVA? Ja, sie haben den Pastor entführt. Seite 3 von 7

They've "den Pastor entführt"? What does that mean? Was bedeutet das, Paul? Ich weiß nicht, Anna. He doesn't understand that I don't understand. Paul, sie haben den Pastor entführt, was bedeutet das? Das bedeutet, ich mache mir Sorgen, Anna, große Sorgen. We're in a real mess here. DECODAGE 2 Paul's worried because the priest has been kidnapped by the woman in red and her gang. I'm starting to understand. So if you're talking about a man and his gang, you say "seine Bande"? And "ihre Bande" for a woman and her gang? Exactly. But "ihre", is also the polite form of saying "your"..: "Ihre Mission ist riskant." That's what Ogur said to me when he was talking about my mission. Which is our mission. Yes, OK, unsere Mission, of course. Deine und meine Mission. We have to track down the black helmets and their boss: "ihre Chefin". Seite 4 von 7

Perfect. Now, let's get a move on. Time is running out! SITUATION 3 Paul versteht Anna, get Paul to help you. Otherwise we'll never finish. Anna, wo warst du? Where was I? In Ostberlin. Es gibt doch kein Ostberlin mehr! Doch, 1961, die Zeitmaschine. Pastor Kavalier Jetzt verstehe ich. Was verstehst du? Er hat die Zeitmaschine also doch getestet Anna, ich glaube, die Maschine ist nicht nur für Zeitreisen Was sagst du? DECODAGE 3 Things are getting more complex now, I guess. Seite 5 von 7

No, hang on, let me think. Did Paul say that the priest tested the machine? Yes. And he thinks there's more about the machine " die Maschine ist nicht nur für Zeitreisen"? Exactly. OK, so maybe it's something to do with the machine that the woman in red was talking about. Anyway, I first should go back to 1989, the evening of November the 9th. Get there quickly and while everyone's going crazy about the fall of the Berlin Wall, get that case! CONCLUSION Round 21 completed. You've got 35 minutes left to complete your mission. You've got to be careful and you've got a lot more to do! RATAVA ist eine internationale Bande. Eine Bande von Zeitterroristen. Sie wollen Geschichte eliminieren! But what are you going to do without a vital contact? Pastor Kavalier ist verschwunden. Ich mache mir Sorgen Anna, große Sorgen. Do you know what you're looking for? Seite 6 von 7

Ich will den Schlüssel für die Maschine. Wo ist er? What's your next step? Do you want to play? Do you want to play? is a coproduction of Deutsche Welle, Polskie Radio and Radio France Internationale with the support of the European Union. Seite 7 von 7
