Deutsch Aktuell 2, the second-level textbook, will expand the communicative skills you have already acquired. You will be able to talk about hobbies, vacation plans, professions, foods, holidays and festivals, health matters, camping and youth hostels, and many other topics. You will learn to interact with others about various aspects of life: driving, using various means of transportation (including a trip to Germany), environmental issues, shopping in a variety of stores and markets.
