9 i.nova Series I.NOVA SERIES COMPACT LINE ARRAY SYSTEMS Als Hersteller innovativer Beschallungssysteme haben wir Vieles mit Ihnen gemeinsam: Die Leidenschaft zur Musik und zur perfekten Beschallung. Deshalb haben sich unsere Ingenieure bei der Entwicklung der i.nova Systeme nicht am Durchschnitt, sondern an Ihren Bedürfnissen orientiert. Gesteigerte Ergonomie, Sound in HD High-Definition Auflösung und eine gleichmäßige Beschallung bis in die letzte Reihe waren nur einige der Ziele. Schnell wurde klar, dass so ein bahnbrechendes System nur mit völlig neuen und leistungsfähigeren Lautsprechern zu realisieren war. Durch den gezielten Einsatz hochmoderner Komponenten wie Ribbon HD- Hochtönern und effizienteren Endstufen reduzierte man Größe und Gewicht auf ein Minimum. Weniger Gewicht bei deutlich höherer Belastbarkeit waren endlich erreicht. Doch gesteigerte Leistung benötigt auch stärkere Endstufen. Die revolutionären Leistungsmodule beinhalten digitale Verstärker mit maximalem Headroom für noch mehr Dynamik. Der hochmoderne i.nova DSP mit 96 khz HD-Auflösung und PC-Anschluss garantiert eine neue Klangdimension. Durchschnitt war unseren Entwicklern nicht genug. Auch das haben wir mit Ihnen gemeinsam. As a manufacturer of innovative sound systems we have many things in common with you: Being passionate about music and perfect sound. That is why our engineers have based the development of i.nova systems not on average, but on your needs. Improved ergonomics, sound in HD High Definition resolution and a uniform sound reinforcement from the first to the last row were the targets. It soon became clear that such a breakthrough system could only be achieved with completely new and more powerful loudspeakers. Due to the use of advanced components such as ribbon tweeters and high-efficient power amplifiers, we were able to reduce size and weight to a minimum. Less weight at a significantly higher capacity were finally reached. But increased power needs stronger amplifiers. The revolutionary power modules include digital amplifiers with maximum headroom for even more dynamics. The ultramodern i.nova DSP with 96 khz high-resolution and PC interface guarantees a new sound dimension. Average was not enough for our engineers. Dies resultiert in wesentlich mehr Direktschall und einer gezielten Beschallung mit deutlich weniger Reflektionen und Diffusschall. Das Ergebnis ist eine extrem gleichmäßige Beschallung des gesamten Publikums und eine deutlich bessere Sprachverständlichkeit bei gleichzeitig geringerer Grundlautstärke. Due to coupling of the special 3" neodymium speakers and the wave-guide of the ribbon high-driver, i.nova compact line array cabinets offer a vertical coverage of o 25. This results in a much more direct and focused sound with less reflections and avoiding diffuse sound. 11 i.nova Series LONG THROW LINE ARRAY SPEAKERS Die i.nova Säulenlautsprecher sind 2-Wege Systeme in einem rechteckigen Gehäuse. Alle Modelle sind mit einem Ribbon Hochtontreiber ausgestattet, der auf ein Waveguide Horn (Wellenformer zur Bildung einer Zylinderwelle) montiert ist. Die horizontale Abstrahlung von 100 ermöglicht eine breite Abdeckung der zu beschallenden Fläche. Der MF/LF Bereich wird über leistungsstarke 3" Neodym-Lautsprecher in einer Reihe abgedeckt. Die i.nova Säulenlautsprecher sind flexibel einsetzbar und eignen sich für Festinstallationen sowie MF/HF- Einheit in Systemen. Die Gehäuse sind aus 12 mm starkem Multiplex hergestellt, welches mit schwarzem NOVA PolyCoat Speziallack überzogen und einem stabilen Frontgitter ausgerüstet ist. Die rückseitig am Anschlussfeld montierten NL4 Speakonbuchsen dienen zum Anschluss (Input) und zur Weiterleitung (Link) des Eingangssignals. Die i.nova Säulenlautsprecher können an den aktiven i.nova System-Subwoofern IN 312 SUB bzw. IN 315 SUB als auch an anderen Verstärkern betrieben werden. Das geringe Gewicht ermöglicht einen einfachen Transport und eine unkomplizierte Installation. Alle Säulenmodelle sind auch in weißer Farbe erhältlich. Die i.nova Säulenlautsprecher eignen sich im mobilen Einsatz zur Beschallung von Galas, Parties, Konzerten und vielem mehr. Fest installiert überzeugen die i.nova Säulenlautsprecher in Event-Shops, Foyers, Hotels, Theatern, Clubs, Restaurants, Kirchen, Besprechungsund Multifunktionsräumen. The i.nova column speakers are two-way systems in a rectangular chassis. The cabinets are equipped with a ribbon HF driver. This special driver is mounted onto a horn (waveguide) to generate a cylindrical wave. The horizontal dispersion of 100 enables an extemely high coverage. The MF/LF section is equipped with high performance 3" speakers (neodym). The flexible i.nova column speakers suit for speech and music applications as stand-alone fullrange system or MF/HF speaker in sound reinforcement systems. The chassis are constructed from 12 mm plywood (birch) and covered with black NOVA PolyCoat finish. The cabinets are equipped with a robust front grill. Two speakon connectors (NL4) are mounted at the rear side of the chassis for signal input (input) and signal link (link). The i.nova column speakers can be used as MF/HF component in combination with the IN 312 SUB or IN 315 SUB active subwoofers. All models can also be driven by other professional amplifiers. The light weight enables an easy transport as well as incomplicated fix installation. All sound columns are also available in white colour. The i.nova speakers are made for mobile sound reinforcement such as galas, parties, concerts and much more. Permanently installed, the i.nova speakers convince in event shops, lounges, hotels, theaters, clubs, restaurants, churches, meeting rooms and function venues. 13 i.nova Series POWERED 12" & 15" SUBWOOFERS WITH 32-BIT DSP Die aktiven i.nova Subwoofer sind mit leichten und hochbelastbaren Neodym-Lautsprechern ausgestattet. Beide Modelle warten mit drei kraftvollen 2 x 440 W (bzw. 2 x 350 W) W Digital-Verstärkern auf und bieten Anschlüsse für jeweils zwei Satellitenlautsprecher sowie einen weiteren passiven Subwoofer. Die druckvolle Tiefbasswiedergabe hinunter bis zu 34 Hz (bzw. 40 Hz) überzeugt besonders. Der integrierte High-Tech 4-Kanal DSP ist die Kommandozentrale der aktiven i.nova Subwoofer. Dieser steuert alle Schutzschaltungen, Limiter und viele weitere Funktionen. Dazu erlaubt der 32-Bit DSP die Speicherung von 20 Sound-Programmen. Ab Werk sind folgende Programme installiert: LINEAR, ENTERTAIN, ROCK, DJ, VOICE. Die Eingangssektion bietet zwei analoge und zwei digitale Eingänge (AES/EBU) im XLR-Format. Über die Remoteschnittstelle (RS485) kann ein Computer angeschlossen werden. Mittels PC-Software können 26 Equalizer, vier Delays, zwei frei programmierbare Noise Gates, vier HPF (High-Pass Filter), vier LPF (Low-Pass Filter) und weitere Funktionen programmiert werden. Alle Funktionen stehen auch am Bedienpanel auf der Rückseite der Subwoofer zur Verfügung. Mittels 2- Zeilen LC-Display und dem Bedienfeld können alle Parameter geladen, editiert und gespeichert werden. All parameters can also be loaded, edited and stored at the user-panel, which is located at the rear-side of the subwoofers. 14 REMOTE SOFTWARE & DSP SETTINGS Die Steuersoftware des digitalen Systemcontrollers ist ein professionelles Werkzeug, mit dem Programme (Presets) intuitiv und effizient online in Echtzeit (Real Time) sowie offline erstellt werden können. Die Steuersoftware ist einfach und übersichtlich strukturiert und bietet eine klare grafische Anzeige aller Filter. Die Funktionen und Einstellungen können mit der Steuersoftware geladen, editiert und gespeichert werden. Die Software ist lauffähig auf WINDOWS 98, WINDOWS 2000, WINDOWS XP, WINDOWS VISTA, WINDOWS 7 und WINDOWS 8 (alle 32-Bit und 64-Bit Versionen). The DSP can be adjusted and controlled with the free PC software. This software is a professional tool and enables a quick and effective programming of presets in real-time (online or offline). The program shows adjustments of any filter in a graphic simulation. All DSP-functions and adjustments can be loaded, edited and saved with this tool. 15 i.nova Series PASSIVE 12" & 15" SUBWOOFERS AS EXTENSION Die i.nova Systeme liefern schon in der Grundversion ein erstaunliches Bassfundament. Für noch mehr Druck im unteren Frequenzbereich sind die passiven Subwoofer als Erweiterung optional erhältlich. Optisch und akustisch baugleich mit dem aktiven Modell, wird das passive Modell mittels eines 4-poligen Speakonkabels (Pins 2+/2-) an den aktiven Subwoofer angeschlossen. Die Endstufe im aktiven Subwoofer versorgt auch den passiven Subwoofer mit Leistung. The i.nova systems deliver an amazing reproduction of the low frequencies already in the standard configuration. For even more sub-pressure, the passive subwoofers are available as an extension (option). The passive models offer identically dimensions and power rating of the active ones. A passive subwoofer can be connected to the active subwoofer by using a 4-pole speakon-cable (pins 2+/2-). 33 UNION Series UNION SERIES HIGH PERFORMANCE SPEAKERS Die UNION Series besteht aus zwei aktiven und zwei passiven 12" und 15" 2-Wege Lautsprechern. Die multifunktionalen Gehäuseformen ermöglichen die Anwendung auf einem Lautsprecherstativ sowie als professioneller Bühnenmonitor. Die robusten Frontgitter sind mit starken Magneten befestigt und können für einen schnellen Zugriff ohne Werkzeug abgezogen werden. Mittels Handschrauben lassen sich die Hochtonhörner um 90 drehen. Durch den Einsatz von Hochleistungslautsprechern und Hochtontreibern mit 2,5" Schwingspulen liefern die UNION Lautsprecher sehr hohen Schalldruck für enorme Dynamik. Die aktiven Modelle U12A und U15A sind dazu mit einem 3- Kanal 32-Bit DSP ausgestattet, welcher Platz für sechs Sound- und Delayprogramme bietet. Diese können direkt am Anschlussfeld geladen werden. Mittels Remote-Software und USB-Interface können die Programme am PC editiert und gespeichert werden. Die hocheffizienten Class-D Verstärker der aktiven Modelle liefern Watt RMS Leistung (8 Ohm). Dabei stehen 800 Watt Leistung für den 12" bzw. 15" Lautsprecher und 300 Watt Leistung für den Hochtöner zur Verfügung. The robust front grilles are attached with strong magnets and can be removed without tools for easy access. The horns can be removed and rotated by hand screws easily. Due to the use of high-performance speakers and HF drivers with 2,5" voice coil, UNION speakers deliver high sound pressure for excellent dynamics. The active models U12A and U15A are equipped with a 3-channel 32-bit DSP, which provides a memory for six sound and delay programs. These can be selected on the rear panel. The programs can be edited and stored by using the UNION PC remote software (via USB interface). The highly efficient class-d amplifiers deliver watts RMS of power (8 ohms).
