Die Funktion CLO stellt sicher, dass die abgegebene Lichtmenge trotzdem konstant bleibt. Dazu wird der LED-Strom im Laufe der LED- Lebensdauer stetig erhöht. Die Leuchte ist werkseitig auf den idealen Lichtwert programmiert, bei dem optimale Leuchtkraft ohne Qualitätseinbußen sowie längste Lebensdauer garantiert sind. Die Bestromung konsequent auf dem höchsten Level zu halten, bedeutet für die LED zwar höchste Lichtwerte, jedoch gleichzeitig auch die geringste Lebensdauer. Deshalb startet das CLO-System mit 80 % der Leistung, erhöht diese über die Jahre jedoch stetig und kann den Lumenoutput somit konstant halten. Das schont nicht nur die LEDs, sondern verringert zudem ihre Ausfallrate und erhöht die Lebensdauer. Gleichzeitig wirkt sich diese Art der Steuerung absolut positiv auf die Energiebilanz aus, denn durch die generell geringere Bestromung können 10 % Energie und Kosten gespart werden. Bei einer Lebensdauer von Betriebsstunden und 80 % der Leistung ergibt das eine Ersparnis von 225 kwh, was speziell beim Einsatz mehrerer Leuchten ein lukrativer Vorteil ist. E The luminous fl ux of an LED declines continuously during its lifetime. CLO (Constant Lumen Output) technology, however, ensures a constant quantity of emitted light. This is accomplished by increasing the LED current steadily over the life of the unit. The luminaire is programmed at the factory to the ideal light value for guaranteeing optimal brightness without loss of quality as well as a longer service life. Maintaining a constant supply of energy at the highest level results in maximum brightness for the LED, but it also shortens service life. This is why the CLO system starts at 80 % of capacity, steadily increasing it over the years to maintain a constant lumen output. This not only spares the LEDs, it also reduces their failure rate and contributes to a longer service life. This type of control has a net positive effect on overall energy usage as well, with lower power requirements reducing energy and other costs by 10 %. With a service life of 50,000 hours of operation and 80 % capacity, this translates into savings of 225 kwh. That is a lucrative advantage, particularly for situations involving a number of luminaires. Dementsprechend ist die Mikroprismatik so konstruiert, dass das austretende Licht optimal entblendet wird. Sowohl im direkten Sichtfeld von vorn als auch bei Lichteinfall im rückwärtigen Bereich und der daraus resultierenden Refl exion auf Bildschirmoberfl ächen. Das prädestiniert die DISC-O als optimale Arbeitsplatzleuchte. Der im Leuchtenkopf integrierte Konverter unterstützt die klar strukturierte Formensprache und ermöglicht einfachste Installationen, da das Aluminium-Konvertergehäuse zugleich als Befestigung an Wand oder Decke fungiert. Die Arretierung des Konvertergehäuses erfolgt mittels Bajonettverschluss. Durch einfaches Eindrücken und Drehen lässt sich der Verschluss öffnen und schließen. Er erlaubt so werkzeuglose Wartung und Instandhaltung des gesamten Beleuchtungskörpers sowie eine schnelle Montage der Leuchte. E With its special microprismatic cover, the new DISC-O luminaire provides bright, glare-free light with an optimum UGR value of < 19 as per DIN EN The UGR method is an internationally standardised calculation of psychological direct glare, which has superseded the old luminance measurement method used in the past. The method is founded on a number of similar glare evaluation methods, based on systematic assessment of different glare sources and glare perceptions by observer groups. The luminaire s microprism is constructed in such a way that the light being emitted is optimally suppressed, both in the direct fi eld of vision to the front as well as for incident light from the rear and the resulting refl ection on screens. This makes DISC-O the perfect lighting solution for workplaces. The converter integrated into the luminaire head enhances the clearly structured design concept and allows for very easy installation, as the aluminium converter housing also functions as a mount for walls or ceilings. The converter housing is affi xed using a bayonet mount. It can be easily opened and closed by pressing and turning, allowing for maintenance and servicing of the entire luminaire without tools as well as for quick installation. D Das Radar Control System (RCS) reguliert je nach Helligkeit des Umgebungslichtes und Anwesenheit von Personen die Beleuchtung und spart somit Energie. Dafür sind drei Bestandteile erforderlich: Der Tageslichtsensor erkennt abhängig von der vorgegebenen Helligkeitsschwelle, ob der Leuchtenbetrieb nach wahrgenommener Bewegung gestartet werden soll. Die Radarpräsenzerkennung detektiert mittels unsichtbar integriertem Sensor bereits kleinste Bewegungen innerhalb des festgelegten Erfassungsbereichs. Das Funkmodul lässt beliebig viele Leuchten problemlos über Distanzen von bis zu zehn Metern miteinander kommunizieren, indem der Master wahrgenommene Bewegung an die Slaves der selben Gruppe weiterleitet. Dabei können maximal neun voneinander unabhängige Leuchtengruppen zusammengeschaltet werden. E The Radar Control System (RCS) regulates the lighting depending on the brightness of the ambient light and the presence of persons, helping to conserve energy. Three components are necessary for this: Depending on the pre-defi ned brightness threshold, the daylight sensor recognises whether the luminaire should be turned on after motion is detected. Using a hidden integrated sensor, the radar presence detector recognises the smallest movements within the pre-set detection zone. The radio module can communicate with an unlimited number of luminaires at distances of up to ten metres, with the master luminaire transmitting any movements detected to the slaves in the same group. A maximum of nine independent groups of lights can be connected together. D KORRIDORFUNKTION Die Korridorfunktion ist richtig wirtschaftlich: Durch sie wird nämlich nur dann Licht erzeugt, wenn es tatsächlich benötigt wird. Denn: Registriert der Radarsensor die Präsenz einer Person, erhöht sich die Grundlichtstärke automatisch auf die Anwesenheitsbeleuchtung. Nach ihrem Verlassen und nach Ablauf einer individuell über den Controller festzulegenden Verzögerungszeit wird wieder auf eine niedrigere Abwesenheitsbeleuchtung gedimmt. Erst nach einer weiteren Zeitspanne schaltet die Anlage aus. Das Ergebnis: Energieeffi zienz, Komfort und Sicherheit auf höchstem Niveau. E CORRIDOR FUNCTION The corridor function is truly economical: light is produced only when it is actually needed. This is because when the radar sensor registers the presence of a person, the basic lighting strength automatically increases to the presence lighting levels. After the person leaves the area and after the expiration of a delay period, which can be set individually via the controller, the system is once again dimmed to a lower absence lighting level. The system turns off only after another time interval. The result: energy effi ciency, comfort, and maximum security. 100 % Light level 5 5 M S S M S S 0 % Time MASTERLEUCHTEN (M) Sie werden mit integriertem Steuergerät geliefert und haben einen Radar- und Tageslichtsensor. Bei registrierten Bewegungen werden über Funk entsprechende Befehle an die anderen Master und Slaves gesendet. MASTER LUMINAIRES (M) Are supplied with an integrated control device and have a radar and daylight sensor. Einstelloptionen: 30 s, 1 min, 5 min oder 15 min. 3. FADE TIME OFF: In einer Zeitspanne von 10 s dimmt die Leuchte von 100 % auf den eingestellten Abwesenheitswert. 4. DIM TIME: Zeitspanne in der die Leuchte auf dem DIM LEVEL verharrt. Nach dieser Zeitspanne schaltet die Leuchte aus. Einstelloptionen: 1 min, 5 min, 15 min. 5. DIM LEVEL: Das ist der prozentuale Wert auf den die Anlage in Abwesenheit dimmt (DIM TIME). Einstelloptionen: 10 %, 20 % oder 30 %. 1.
