1 EHRPOLIGE STECKVERBINDER IXO CN i Serie IXO odulareinsätze für mehrpolige Steckverbinder IXO Kontakteinsätze IXO für mehrpolige Steckverbinder für Lichtwellenleiter und Koaxialkabel. LWL-Kontakte gemäß CECC (DIN 66 Teil ) für /, mm PO (Polymer Optical ibre) und,5 /, OST (edia Oriented System Transport) oder für 50 Ohm und 75 Ohm Koaxialkontakte (DIN 66). Dieser odulareinsatz der Serie IXO ermöglicht den Einbau von Kontakten für Lichtwellenleiter und Koaxialkabel-Kontakten. Die Verwendung von Lichtwellenleitern wird in BUS-odulen im Bereich PROINET/Ethernet, wo galvanische Trennung nötig ist, oder zur Vermeidung elektromagnetischer Störungen (EV) empfohlen. Sie kommen vor allem in modernen Schienenfahrzeugen, Konvertern, Windkraftanlagen, Schiffsausrüstungen und industriellen Anwendungen mit BUS-Schnittstellen, wie z. B. an Robotern zum Einsatz Der neue Steckverbinder kann in Anwendungen von -0 C bis +85 C und auch bei hohen Temperaturschwankungen eingesetzt werden. Die odulareinsätze können mit den Rahmen der Serie CX..T/T und den entsprechenden industriellen Gehäusen, die eine Schutzart von IP65/66/67/68/69K (je nach Ausführung) ermöglichen, verwendet werden. Zusätzlich können gemischte Steckverbinder (elektrisch/optisch) erstellt werden. Kontakte in den Ausführungen PO (Ø, mm Außendurchmesser, aser Ø,0 mm), OST-PO (Ø, mm Außendurchmesser, Ø,0 mm aser mit Ummantelung) vor allem für die Verwendung bei hohen Temperaturen und großen Temperaturschwankungen können separat bezogen werden. Außerdem muss die Endfläche der aser in dem Kontakt poliert werden. In einem Kontakteinsatz IXO können außerdem gleichzeitig Koaxialsteckverbinder für 50 Ohm Kabel (RG 6/U, RG 7/U und RG 88 A/U) sowie 75 Ohm Kabel (RG 79 B/U, RG 87 A/U und TZC 75 0) verwendet werden. 3 ULTIPOLE CONNECTORS IXO New products 07 i IXO series ain features Inserts CX 0 SC The new IXO inserts CX 0 SC enables use of fibre optic SC contacts, up to SC contacts per connector, for indoor or outdoor heavy duty industrial applications, with ILE connector enclosures. The female inserts are provided with ceramic (zirconia) type split alignment sleeves, for minimal insertion loss (e.g. critical network connections) and best suitable for single-mode /O cable connections. As optional accessory, metallic (phosphor bronze) split alignment sleeves are also available for more durable (less prone to cracking) applications, but less demanding precision alignment, thus most suitable for multi-mode fibre applications. The fibre optic SC contacts (genderless, to be purchased separately) are available both for multi-mode fibres (50/5 μm or 6,5/5 μm) and single-mode fibre (9/5 μm). The fibre optic SC contacts are also available for the hard-clad silica (HCS) or polymer-clad fibre (PC) 00/0 μm fibre optic cables and for the less demanding, with shorter transmission distance covered, but more cost effective PO Ø mm applications, available with crimp technique version (crimping tool required). NOTE Due to the higher skill and training required to produce an effectively performing fibre optic junction for a single-mode type fibre-optic cable than for a multi-mode one, dedicated contacts for single-mode are available only upon request. 8 i TECHNICAL EATURES CL DD / CL DD ibre optic cables provide data transmission not subject to electromagnetic interference, contrary to copper-based (electric) data transmission. The new fibre optic contacts CL series (CL DD and CL DD) can be used in combination with PO (polymer optical fibre) Ø,0 mm (core) /, mm (sheath) in ILE range of heavy duty multipole connectors, offering the following features: - inherent immunity to EI (electromagnetic interference); - perfect electrical insulation; - lightweight; - high transmission capacity and high bandwidth; - high data security; - IP66/IP67 recommended to minimize impairing effect of dust contamination; - male and female contacts CL series for PO Ø,0 mm (core) /, mm (sheath), with same geometry of crimp contacts CD series for conventional copper conductors; - usable in connector inserts with contact cavities geometry of CDD series, including some modules of IXO series and some inserts of CQ series, according to Table.
