Der Eingang Portalhaus empfängt die Besucher offen und großzügig und wertet das gesamte westliche Messeareal hinsichtlich Funktion und Architektur gegenüber dem Ostgelände auf. Die e 11 ist horizontal zweigeschossig gegliedert. Die eigenständige Dachgeometrie integriert sich sehr geschickt in das urbane Umfeld mit einem ebenen und elegant schwebenden Dach. Der Vorplatz schließt das Ensemble als offene Struktur ab die Besucher werden von den Parkplätzen aus vor den Haupteingang Portalhaus geleitet und durch den offenen Charakter des Seitenflügels zum Messebesuch eingeladen. The Entrance Portalhaus gives visitors an open and generous welcome and architecturally and functionally upgrades the entire western section of the exhibition grounds to complement the eastern section. 11 is built horizontally over two storeys. The individual roof geometry is cleverly integrated into the urban landscape providing a flat and elegant roof that appears to be floating in mid-air. The entire ensemble is rounded off by an openplan forecourt. From the carparks, visitors are guided to the space in front of the new Entrance Portalhaus and invited into the exhibition centre by the open character of the side wing.
