Der Kuppler ist als Schottausführung konstruiert, was den Einbau in eine Schalttafel ermöglicht. Stecker und Kuppler sind entweder mit SERTO-Anschluss oder Einschraubgewinde verfügbar. Die farbcodierte Ausführung, wahlweise in blau, grün, gelb oder rot, bietet wesentliche Vorteile in Bezug auf die Sicherheit im Einsatz. Korrektes Kuppeln wird optisch durch die Farbringe und mechanisch durch die Geometrie der Teile gewährleistet. Dank dem innovativen Design lassen sich die Farben untereinander nicht kuppeln. Damit sind versehentliche Falschverbindungen ausgeschlossen und die korrekte Bedienung des Systems ist sichergestellt. Ideal bei Verwendung verschiedener Medien, die nicht gemischt oder verwechselt werden dürfen. Noch grössere Sicherheit ergibt sich durch die Verwendung von Kunststoffschläuchen in der passenden Farbe.
